A Japanese pull saw would be a hell of a lot faster than that saw. I can cut through a 2x4 in a matter of seconds. Maybe the saw in the video is more durable? EDIT: I came here to see about the sliding track, but ended up watching the entire video. Quite nice looking windows considering the materials involved. A lot of time involved from the looks of it. I'm the type to find more efficient ways of doing something while trying to maintain simplicity. I see a few areas where time and energy could be saved with minimal investment in tools.
@@bleargh22 Grainger lists the hardware but you may need to find a supplier. I am looking to use drawer glides, I think I can adapt them to make some cheap sliding windows.
Beyond dangerous cutting a tenon on a table saw like that. It's fine if they can't afford to buy one but at least they could make their own jig. Please be careful.

Easily found in any hardware store.
This is called a T Channel with wheel in our country
@@Woodakh Too bad I can't seem to find similar regardless of what I search for in my area of the world.
@@Woodakh Yes this is not easy to find in Australia - would you have some photos of the wheel part or a link to a shop that sells them?
