    you can eliminate the floating by doing the drop glitch on the rug. Place the object on the rug, do the normal drop glitch. move the rug to where you want the object. Only the rug will register on the ground the wall will sink.

  • @KpopApocalypse
    @KpopApocalypse 4 года назад +2

    Great build! FYI, you can sink the junk walls into the ground if you use the "merge" glitch that is usually used for displaying objects in shelves. Just place the junk wall on the rug like you would normally do for the regular rug glitch and then find a spot to perform the the "merge" glitch, it will cause the junk wall to sink into the rug and the rug will still stay on the surface. Once you have the junk wall sunk in as deep as you want you can just grab the rug and move the wall into position. You can also use this technique to sink objects into the ground, in my raider camp I have a few items and junk walls sunk into the ground, my camp is in an area where there was an obvious landslide so I wanted to have some items look like they were partially buried in the landslide.

      When you place an object, (the junk wall in this case), on a rug and select the rug, both items move together. The game then notices the collision box of the rug, not the wall allowing you to push the wall into other objects, bypassing it's normal collision, (to a certain extent). It was more flexible in FO4 than it is in 76 but it's still handy sometimes.
