I don't know if anyone is still reading these comments or anything since its been years since anyone said anything. My point is many had issues at the row 20 sts. So I watched every stitch I made, did a little math & came up with a misunderstanding on my part, thinking like a crocheter, like many of you. So here's what I figured out : On my row 21 & at 12:37 on the video, those stitches go, 2hdctog involving 1st 2 sts, hcd every st until 2 sts left & make another 2hdctog. Another words decreasing by one stitch at beginning of row & one stitch at end of row. After I tried that, I had same number of stitches as tutor. I made a sweater in the XXS for my Chiweenie. I took the arm holes up a couple of stitches when I did the edging around the leg holes. I love it.
Hello, thank you for your tutorial. Please tell me if I want to crochet for bigger sizes ( how many stitches do I have to crochet for sizes m, s, large sizes. Thank you . You are amazing.
I only make small to tiny sizes but the best way to figure it out is to make a chain that fits around the widest part of you dogs ribs. Make sure it is an even number join and work in the round until it’s up to where your dogs legs are then divide the stitches to make leg holes. Do a decrease on the tummy side, then rejoin your sections to make the neck. I hope this helps.
@@theresaworthington6581 for the chest you are decreasing by turning 2 stitches into one. You do not slip stitch again until the five rows are done. You will have 10 stitches.
Putting something like that on a hamster is dangerous for your hamster. You could end up breaking their legs trying to get them into a sweater.. They may also nibble at it which could create a blockage in their intestines, all types of fiber should be kept away from hamsters. A hamster could also get their little nails stuck in the fibers which could then rip their nails out, or break their fingers. Please don't use yarn around your hamsters.
when you started the 20 stitches for 6 rows back and forth , I see you only chained up 2 in the beginning, question is do you chain up at the end of chain 20 ??
Good day. I watched your XS sweater. I thought immediately 40 was too large. I’m here at your XXS small and it’s still 40 chains to start. I’m puzzled.
Girl, your measurements are off, if you go by your chart at start of video. Following your tutorial precisely the sweater it way off and several inches larger than the chart. I started over 3 times, going down to a 3.0 hook. Great concept, but measurements way off is frustrating.
@@LittleGemsCreations1 I have frogged this more times than I can count. I followed every step and still my stitches were off especially when I went to count off the 20 stitches. I even had a friend who crochets try this and she had the same problem.

Hi, thanks for the awesome tutorial. I am going to attempt to make a sweater for my Mom’s lil 3.8 pound yorkie Tisha.
Sounds like a cutesy pie!

Your size chart clicks off very fast. Can you attach yothis message please. Love the sweater but want to make it in various sizes. Thank you
I can’t attach pictures to this but I will suggest doing a screen shot when the chart appears
I'm trying to work out if you keep slip stitching and adding the 2 Stitches as you skipped that bit or do you keep going for the 5 rows
I’m not sure what you are asking. Which part? For the back? For the chest?
Chest

Chain up 2 for each row
40 cadenas es casi s
It fits a 3 lb dog.

Hook size and yarn weight are what makes these larger or smaller and the chain is for starting at the tummy.
Start with forty because when making chest you will decrease by 10 stitches.

We all crochet with a different tension. I crochet quite tightly. Sorry you had to restart.
