Cold Heavy Oil Production with Sand (CHOPS) is an important recovery method in Saskatchewan and Alberta's heavy oil fields. This video tries to understand the production of foamy oil from these oil fields. Featured in this video is Ian Gates of the University of Calgary and Toby Bond of the Canadian Light Source.
