Sounds great. What are the exact model names of the exhaust and exhaust manifold? Did the bumper beam have to be cut at all for the supercharger installation? Did you have any trouble finding room to fit the supercharger and the exhaust manifold together?
vrit1202 HKS all the way from manifold to exhaust tips. We've done dozens of these yet and all have been installed in less than 3 days with the same dyno numbers. Most of them have been tracked repeatedly and are doing fine ;)
Krl0 That is downright impressive. Just two more questions: 1) Did you have to cut the bumper beam at all to fit the supercharger? 2)What would explain the somewhat large difference between the hp at the wheel (281hp) and the hp at the crank (380hp)? Thanks and keep up the good work!
vrit1202 little cut (very little) in the flange behind but no need to cut the bumper. regula dyno reads about 175whp while we read 145whp, dynapacks reads super low, not good for advertising power but still the safest and most repeatable type of dyno and mesurement you can get ;) I prefer a good too for work than a good tool for advertisment ;) 0 to 200 km/h is reduced by half so power is definetly doubled !!

Ideally you wana stay at 260 foot pounds maximum flirting 365whp you risk to go over … it’s the high limit but some still manage to keep them without engine troubles yet. If the torque is there at high rpm , if you put this torque at 3200rpm it would last a few weekends only I think.

I love how the supercharger isn't unnecessarily loud, and it keeps the characteristic "roar" of an NA engine.
Can be even much smoother in terms of sound with the HKS S-Tail exhaust we use on some builds (ECE approoved and same power).
What’s a NA engine 😂
