i've been contemplating getting fields at nightfall because the notes on the website lists jasmine, hedione, and sandalwood which is different than fragrantica praline, sandalwood, tonka bean. so do you feel like it leans more to the fragrantica description? (ive never smelled This is Her)
Ah I'm so excited, I've just ordered Fields at Nightfall and Deep Garden! I tend to like aromatic, balsamic perfumes best, so we'll see how these are :)
@@TaliTalTal Hi 😊 This is going to be a first impression because it only arrived today, but on me it's very subtle, smooth and balsamic. Definitely a cosy, colder weather scent. When I spray it first, I get a cotton candy/brown sugar note that wears off relatively quickly, revealing a well-balanced, sweet-but-not-cloying gourmand quality. The dry-down is especially beautiful, on me it translates warm, woody and slightly spicy, presumably from the mixture of tonka-sandalwood basenotes. It sits close to the skin, and if i were to describe it in a single phrase, it's very casual-luxe. Hope I helped!

But what I really love is the Zara line of fragrances based on a country, because the boxes have such wonderful graphics and I like the association with travel. I have an obsession with any fragrance likened to libraries, reading, or books and purchased a roller ball (only 6.95!) of A Book Liaison in Lisbon, and thought it was nice. Have you tried that one Sarah?

Thank you for sharing your impressions of these Zara fragrances, as it's so tempting to blind buy them based on the notes and I usually end up being disappointed with my choices...but I keep trying them because sometimes there is a gem in there ;-) 💎 I'd ordered a couple others in those metallic/shiny bottles (Gold Gourmand and Glitter Rainbow) and they made me realize I don't love really fruity, sweet gourmands anymore. I do want to try Amber Linen and a couple of the new ones that just came out (e.g., True Leather, etc.)

Great vídeo! I bought also Índigo Mohair and it’s not really a clone for Blanche from Byredo (I have it) but it’s the same vibe, clean parfum. I bought also Rose Gourmand (Roses&Vanilla from Mancera), Fleurs Sublime (it’s seems to be another clone from Mancera that I don’t know) and last Bois Soleil (also a woody clone from Mancera says someone in Fragantica.com). I bought these ones in the MAN corner because the man ones has more sillage and longevity that the sames sold for WOMAN. Did you try them? Thanks!!

Rose mouselline used to be a perfume on rose and a dupe of Mojave ghost by byredo which I love. In general this lines goes with byredo dupes. Let me know it this helps. It is already in fragrantrica. 😘😘😘😘

I've been watching your channel a lot since i found it a few days ago and i absolutely love it!💖 💖 💖 I was wondering if I could offer a video suggestion of perfumes for people who don't like X note. And i'm thinking it should be all about base notes cause that's what sticks to the skin. For example i don't like amber and wood on my skin, they end up smelling weird. Sorry if it sounds demanding, it's just how my perfume shopping experiences go, rather than trying to find a perfume that smells in a certain way, i try to find ones that don't end up smelling in a certain way on my skin. I have a weird ph or something and most of what i try in department stores ends up smelling the exact same way on me, and not always pleasant.
I have a problem with pear and also raspberry. Both are so popular, but for me they don't work. I don't want to say anything that would be offensive about another person's favorite fragrance, but there is just something almost nauseating to my nose when it comes to those two notes.....

Rosy Mousseline is supposed to be a dupe for Byredo Mohave Ghost. And Amber Linen is the dupe for Bal d’Afrique.
I haven’t smelled Mohave Ghost so I can’t compare but to me Amber Linen doesn’t smell like Bal D’Afrique. 💖
