Gotta suck to get in one of the few lifeboats and think your safe to instead be pulled into the propeller. I heard the propeller was going at full speed because they were trying to outrun that sub or make it to port as fast as possible. But couldn’t turn the propellers off due to system failures.

They were trying to beach the ship the captain thought they’d have time to take it to the shallower waters the crew didn’t wait for the captains orders and started to lower the lifeboats while it was still moving those on the lifeboat didn’t stand a chance they were caught up in the propellers
