Take a thin foam gym mat or camping mat that you lay on the floor to sleep on. Cut a slice that is the depth of the tracks on you board x by the length between the front and back nuts of the plate. Put your nuts in the tracks and wedge the foam between them. Do the same thing to fill up the gaps in front and behind of the nuts, done, your nuts will not move. Cheap, light, and effective.
I honestly don’t get it, you still have to tie the 4 screws of the mast. So the only time you save is that you don’t have to align the screws? Thanks for the answer.
Once you have the position locked in you no longer have to worry about finding that position again and aligning the T-Nuts every time. Added to that that when you take the mast off, you don't have to take out the nuts, or put the screws back in to lock them down. Also less chance of loosing them. All in all it saves a few minutes per session and gives you peace of mind that you won't loose your nuts.

I'm not convinced. You are saving like 20 seconds to align the screws while adding another part that could break.
Clever design!
Anything similar for a simple 4 hole board?

I too am a bit confused on where the time savings is

@@GunnarBiniasch I'm in! All about not losing my nuts.
I’m not quite getting the time savings. And That area gets a ton of stress. More to fail IMHO. Thx for taking the time.
Gunnar, how do you keep track of the 4 bolts and washers when disassembled?
I screw them into the t nuts in the board
Gunnar - what is the material of the plate, is it elastomeric or is it carbon epoxy?
It's carbon Epoxy

I'm probably going to buy it still, but I was expecting a single Jesus nut solution instead of still having four screws to tighten every time.
