It is too easy, u need not to do any other manipulation. Just divide by x on both side and we can write 9 =3³/3 then we compare both side then we get x=3 .
This is not manipulation. The exponential equation has two solutions 3 and 0.234.., Using Lambert W function is the right way to solve it. You are the one that did the manipulation.
