Love Albania. Met the love of my life there. We got married in Tiranë, and the happiest time of my life began when I picked her up at the airport in LA last November. We live in Idaho now; we laugh because Idaho is known for potatoes. She is from Korce, which is also known to grow potatoes. So our baby will soon be born in potato country, just like her mom :)
Your vids together with some others I've seen recently are really putting Albania in a great light. Those mountains in the distance look impressive too.
Not everyone is nice in Tirana. You still have to be careful in this city. Foreigners not, local not, the country not. And even there, the world has changed too, the citizens suffer.....

If you don't fuck with people in albania you have no problem if you do then you fuck ur self up.

I'm here in Tirana rn, haven't really left Blokku cause i got too comfortable. Nice city tho. For anyone who wants to visit i recommend a wonderful restaurant called Kripe Dhe Piper... Some really fancy delicious food at a cheap price and amazing customer service.
You guys should go to El Sahara in Tirana (nice rooftop lounge, can view the whole city lovely at night) and Zin’s in Durres (nice bar/restaurant/lounge seaside with great view and lovely sushi) Rrugica Sales it’s also a lovely famous little street with 5-6 bars hotspot for night time. There’s an Irish (style) Pub with huge variety of beers which I’m sure you would love. Ohh Yhh and if you guys like guns, theres a good shooting range near the air Albania stadium in Tirana, it’s called poligoni. As for restaurants Puro (Amsterdami) in Astir Tirana - Artigianno Blloku. Also sure you try the traditional Albanian wrap “Suflaqe” (chicken or pork).
@Sheela Narayanan Well it depends how far from center of Tirana you wanna go. Personally I live around 10min far from center of Tirana and usually I dont use a car to move around. Here are some interesting places that a tourist likely would visit: Scanderbeg square, Pyramid, Et'hem Bey mosque, Murat Toptani road aka Kalaja e Tiranes, New Bazaar (pazari i ri), house of leaves, Grand Park, "Blloku" area for nightlife etc... all this mentioned above they're very close to the center of Tirana. If you intend also to visit Dajti mountain National park you may need a car or you can go with Dajti express (cable car) greetings from Tirana
Well. After realising we can fly direct to Tirana from Gatwick, we're booked up for Albania. These videos have been brilliant, and given us some great ideas for our visit in September. Taaaa.
This seems to be a very charming place, I hope I can visit sometime in the future when all this is over. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much!

if u come to Albania nothing to do in capital (young city) u must go to Shkodra first ( it was the capital for more than 5000years) then are the others beautiful cities like: Berat Korca Gjinokastra and Durres(it is very old but rebuild more than 10times)

You will love it here.. I suggest you to visit Berat.. It's a beautiful city with amazing buildings.. And If u ever come during spring or summer I suggest you to visit North Albania (Theth, Valbona) it's like Switzerland but cheaper 😍 And south of Albania when you will find beautiful beaches (Vlore, Himare, Saranda).. 😍😍
I'm Americans and live and work here part time. There is so much to see in all of albania. The food is amazing and always fresh. The cost for everything is very low. The restaurants and bar are impeccable. Night life here at the Block is an area where you have all kinds of bars and clubs which are always full on the weekends. We don't deal with the virus people wear masks in shops and the government does follow covid protocols but loosely. Try Mystic for lunch and dinner. Peppers for a great bar in the Block. Beautiful place. Too much to see here and the history of albania will surprise you.
