This is one you should watch live. It's really terrific live - there's a live concert performance in Osaka that is truly amazing. Watching this live made it one of my favorite songs when I just want to get amped up.

BTS song “On” has similar message but was release around 3 yrs later! Not Today was filmed, with all the symbolism, as well as once again, amazing choreography, as well as the synchronized dancing at certain points from BTS along with all the many backup dancers! “Not Today” was the spectacular opening song during their Wings tour, just like “On” was going to be for BTS MOTS already sold out worldwide concert tour that was going to start April of 2020 but ended up being completed canceled due to the pandemic. 👍🙏❤️🔥😍🔥🔥

Even if he didn’t read the messages, he would see the enormous number of messages of support from Army. This song is a great motivator.
This is my anthem. It kept me going through some really rough times. I have quotes from it and On on my wall of my office. I wanted a Not Today tat but my medical issues prevent me from getting another tat. It’s a hell of a song to sing. Loudly. I adore this song.

I love watching recordings of this live because it’s just so special to see a huge group of people who came together because they really connected with this music getting to shout in solidarity at the top of their lungs not today and just hear it as one loud roar

I love the energy of this song, it's sibling song in terms of energy for me is On. They were both favourites when I was first getting into BTS' music - also knowing that it was written at a time when there was constant hate trains and smear campaigns against them ...not that much has changed, which is why ARMY charted it recently.

Story Time: This is the first BTS song that held my attention. I liked the choreo so much too, I was watching the M/V multiple times a day for weeks. I developed a crush on Hobi, at that time he was "cute guy in the hat" because I didn't know their names yet 😂. Your reaction was the greatest, could see the surprise come over your face. 💜💜💜

A crow-tit or Bapsae (like the song that is also named Silver Spoon) is a small fluffball of a bird.
It cames from a Korean pro-verb:
A Bapsae/crow-tit trying to keep up with a storch will split it's legs.
Which is why one of the translations for Bapsae is also "Try-Hard".
It's about someone who has less means trying to keep up with someone that has a lot more.
Like a poor person trying to keep up with the spendings and power of a rich one. Or like the younger generation keeping up with the older generation were getting a job was easier and so was buying a house.
It gets mentioned in the explained vid of DKDKTV to Bapsae/Silver Spoon.
(even as they put in the wrong picture for the bird the real one is similar enough)

4:59 lolol. As you know, a crow tit is a bird. Theres a korean idiom that translates to:
if a crow-tit walks like a stork, it will break its legs, meaning if you overdo something or try to imitate someone of a higher social/economic status than you to make yourself look more/better than you are, you will just bring more hardship upon yourself.
In Baepsae, the other BTS song ARMYs are telling you about in the comments, they talk about how if youre a Baepsae/crow tit/tryhard, you basically tear your crotch if you try to keep up with the "storks" because crow tits have short legs while storks have long legs. (Crow tit = lower class, stork = higher class). The storks try to say "i managed to get a job buy a house etc etc so why cant you?" Ignoring the fact that it's a different time and economy. Its not an even playing field so the smaller bird can never catch up and will just gurt himself if he even tries .
Wait til you see Baepsae live or the dance practice that hip thrust people have talked about refers to the dance for Baepsae. Because they sing about their crotches tearing because they have short legs as underdogs, they do very intense hip thrust haha . (In the practice yoongi tries twerking during dance break heh)
I used to laugh all the time when I'd listen to this or Baepsae at the crow tit parts. Now i just chuckle because im a child too hehe

He actually spent a lot of time getting to know about BTS and their career in the beginning and did his due diligence, and continues to do so. Does he have his own opinions, preferences, and biases? Yes. Does he acknowledge those? Yes. Does he sometimes admit to changing his mind? Yes. Not a bad reactor by any means, and one of the few I still watch. Also, he’s done a pretty good job explaining his own background and how we comes to form his opinions based on his own experience. So you can form your own judgements from that too if you want.
