The thing that people fail to realize with the Jimmy shot is that he had played 48 min with an injured knee when the only other player on the Heat that was helping him was Bam. You go for the that shot ever time.
The reason why people criticise the shot was because Butler had an open lane for a 2 but chose the pull up jumper. Personally I don’t have a problem with him going for the win over the tie but bearing in mind Butler is not a great 3 point shooter it probably wasn’t the better option.
@@Banner-18 my point is that Jimmy was hurt and had played 46 minutes in game 6 and 48 in game 7 and now you want him to ply an extra 5 assuming he scores. The fact that the Heat were 25-45 fg with Jimmy and Bam and the rest of the team shot 12-43 and Jimmy is hurt and exhausted then I do like going for the kill. Younger NBA fans are clue’s when it comes to Hakeem’s all time ranking and Lebron. Hakeem wasn’t considered the best center in the league until 93. Robinson and Ewing carried their teams further. Hakeem had to get a HOF player to barely make the playoffs in his second title season. Lebron is a no brainer top 10 player. But he’s not top 2. He has career losing record to Steph Curry(who’s played 6 less seasons). His finals record is going to age badly as well similar to Wilt/Russell. I do ultimately put Lebron in the top 5. But Curry will be top 7(Durant will end up top 10 as well).
Kawhi > Tatum but obviously for next decade who do I pick Tatum. Curry 10-15 range bc only 4 first team all nba and hasn’t done it enough. Hakeem is top3-7 range as is Larry Bird and I’ve been going to 40-60 games a year center court row 10 since 87-88 (Reggie’s rookie year). Hakeem didn’t play with anywhere near the amount of talent/owner/GM etc as Kareem Shaq Duncan Russell Wilt or else he would have 2-6x as many titles! Hakeem 94/95 has the most FGM ever and 5th most in single playoff run (2nd is MJ 92, 3rd Shaq 2000, 4th is LeBron 2018!). Larry Bird 1984-88 was God Tier 27 10 7 2 1 51/40/90 His first 9 years here are his MVP finishes: 4 2 2 2 1 1 1 3 2 He was All NBA 1st team his first 9 years (only Big O has ever done that!) MJ LeBron Kareem Hakeem Magic Kobe Russell Wilt ALL have Larry Bird Top5 GOAT for a reason. LeBron models his game after Bird, Magic, Dr J and MJ. Durant models game after Bird (their words not mine). I’ve been going to 40-60 games center court row 10 since 87-88 (Reggie’s rookie year and 85/86 10 games per year + 1-2 games per year in Chicago yearly since then) and the best players I’ve seen 10-50x MJ = LeBron (love them both) 84-88 Bird and 85-86 to 94-95 Hakeem That dude hating on Larry Bird is corny. You’re showing your age. Magic and Bird absolutely saved the league. MJ was huge too but 79-84 was Magic Bird!
In every big team sport in NA, for the most part, elite defense will beat elite offense. I'm with Drew here, Boston in 6 or 7. As much as I hate Boston, they have been the best team in the NBA going back well before the all-star game.
@@Gabriel-lf4qo that cap bro they clearly are not as fluent in speech and as comfortable as Kenny and pee. Dmills still be akward but is a whole different person than he was a year ago they both improved heavily
yeah tbh sometimes they just be sitting there until P or KB ask them something. they don’t always come prepared like that, and are more inconsistent on their takes
Draymond, Wiggins, GPII all were super crucial defenders. Curry not being someone you can pick on anymore is crucial. Looney played well on D. Klay has obv slowed down bc of the injuries, but he used to be an elite defender and he still has a super high defensive IQ. He got better as the playoffs went on. He’s not a stopper and idk if he’ll ever get back to being one, but he can hang. Ain’t nobody you can pick on, and GSW was too smart, poised, experienced for BOS. They didn’t have any clear weaknesses to exploit on defense, their team defense is ELITE. BOS needed more experience and ball handling that they just didn’t have and it cost them. They have a bright future though.
Looney is not doing that against the Celtics bigs…it’s so fckn ridiculous how that’s everyone’s argument for Looney’s impact in the series like AL and Rob are going to make Looney and green look like children on the boards 😭 I’m sorry it’s just the truth
Celtics getting bailed out by a team that have no production from the depth they have just like how the heat got the to ECF as well. Atlanta was missing everything they hawked trae young, then got lucky embiid was hurt because that would’ve went to 7 still in favor of Miami but philly has no bench and idk what James Harden was on also. I’m being nice by saying 6 but I think they have what it takes to beat the Celtics in 5️⃣
bruh Kawhi got injured already like 2 times he aint that explosive anymore but other than that he became even more clutch in the outside and he STILL won a ring KD also have Torn ACL but he still great but the Celtics defense is good also Kawhi is so careful on his body since the 2017 injury and he load manage what matters is come Playoff time he will ballin just like before he got hurt last year in the Playoffs they can go to the Finals ofc you gonna take Tatum over Kawhi if you are talk about the future but right now Kawhi > Tatum all day
For me there’s two different ways to look at impact. For example you have players who changed the game of basketball and you have players who changed the league/NBA. Lebron, AI, Bird/Magic are some players that changed the league by changing player empowerment, or saving the League, etc. Curry, Dirk, Magic, Jordan changed the game and the way basketball was played. That’s how I look at it.
I disagree with so many things you guys say. Putting Steph that high, saying dirk was more impactful than Larry bird. You guys know the game but the history of the game is lacking. Your ages show in your takes. If you guys were 20 years older you would feel completely differently
imo we need to drop how much accolades/resume weigh how good a player was. personally i don’t have wilt and russell in my top 10 because taking competition and volume into account, they don’t stack up as BASKETBALL PLAYERS to a guy like hakeem to me. just a thought. this is why i believe steph could shoot higher than 10.

In the playoffs they're absolutely an elite defense that's how they won last year, Warriors are a great team defense but they just don't have the personnel to match Giannis, Jrue and Brook Lopez who are all 1st team all-defense caliber guys and play in a great defensive scheme. Why discredit what they did against the Bulls like they weren't a playoff team like everybody else? Miami played the 8 seeded Hawks and their defense wasn't as good

Green can’t shoot to save his life!! This was with JT playing like garbage 😂 I’ll tell you this now because Curry went the second half pretty much nonexistent with just man to man coverage. If Curry can’t win the game while winning by 16+ points being defended lightly and lost by 12 lol what make’s y’all think he can do anything being defended like the Celtics did to KD being Triple and double teamed?? The Nets lost by 1-6 points in the 4 games not double digits and they had the most injuries, player turnover, drama, covid mandates than any other team, trash coaching, trash rotations, no wing defenders, no stretch 5s, missing key players and yet still didn’t get blown out like the warriors just did….yup 12 points is a light blowout especially when your up double digits. The warriors lost by double the pts that BKNY Nets did…let that marinate for a second. Stop comparing Curry to KD… 1 of them was finals MVP 2x and the other one …..wasn’t. He has career losing record to Steph Curry(who’s played 6 less seasons). His finals record is going to age badly as well similar to Wilt/Russell. I do ultimately put Lebron in the top 5. But Curry will be top 7(Durant will end up top 10 as well).
"YO PIERRE YOU WANNA COME OUT HERE?"
Andrew was looking like skip bayless in this
To be honest I think kD have a big impact on the game to look at those 6,7 that can do everything noe
Is it just me that thinks the guest looks exactly like Seth curry

Yes!!! Are you literally this dense Joel?!?! Lebron, Luka, and MJs turnaround fade is LITERALLY HAKEEMS MOVE
Drew look like if he went bald, he’d look like Andrew Tate
Larry Bird 1984-88 was God Tier

He was All NBA 1st team his first 9 years (only Big O has ever done that!)
MJ LeBron Kareem Hakeem Magic Kobe Russell Wilt ALL have Larry Bird Top5 GOAT for a reason.
LeBron models his game after Bird, Magic, Dr J and MJ. Durant models game after Bird (their words not mine).
I’ve been going to 40-60 games center court row 10 since 87-88 (Reggie’s rookie year and 85/86 10 games per year + 1-2 games per year in Chicago yearly since then) and the best players I’ve seen 10-50x
MJ = LeBron (love them both)
84-88 Bird and 85-86 to 94-95 Hakeem
That dude hating on Larry Bird is corny. You’re showing your age. Magic and Bird absolutely saved the league. MJ was huge too but 79-84 was Magic Bird!
People forget that Shaq took his Orlando team to the finals (beating Jordan in the process). That alone should put Shaq over Kobe.
It’s all about matchups. Who cares about the opponents they last played. Boston matchups really well with the warriors
"Lebron has to, has to" hahahahaha so funny
these guys are just targeting this man but he has great points lol
Bruh Bam would literally obliterate the mavs bigs. The couldn’t stop Kevon looney 😭😭😭😭
Yea but for anybody really thinking they weren’t washing Denver nor Dallas they r casuals
GSW DEF is much closer to BOS DEF than BOS OFF compared to GSW.
Kawhi has load managed and still gets hurt. I want Tatum
Bro on the right look like Julian Love 😭😭😭
In the 80s people weren’t shooting threes much before larry bird. Y’all are ridiculous disrespecting these greats man.
In every big team sport in NA, for the most part, elite defense will beat elite offense. I'm with Drew here, Boston in 6 or 7. As much as I hate Boston, they have been the best team in the NBA going back well before the all-star game.
Good thing GSW has/had an elite defense AND an elite offense. Warriors in 6.
tatum is one of the most inconsistent superstars i’ve ever seen, saying he’s better than kawhi is insane
At least tatum plays
Anyone who says that I feel bad for
Pierre does great in this pod
Love TTW but mike and dmills dont like to work at all
You haven’t been watching the pod then bro
@@Gabriel-lf4qo that cap bro they clearly are not as fluent in speech and as comfortable as Kenny and pee. Dmills still be akward but is a whole different person than he was a year ago they both improved heavily
@@mohameddrame7096 these boys do more preparation for one podcast than dmilly and mike done their entire life
yeah tbh sometimes they just be sitting there until P or KB ask them something. they don’t always come prepared like that, and are more inconsistent on their takes
I just rolled up 1 too….🔥🔥🔥 timing
Through the wire
P is the goat through the wiiiiireee
Kobe missed the most shots in history
Not preaching😭😭😭
How you gonna say that Boston is more likeable, when the Warriirs are literally the Most-Liked team IN THE WORLD???
this draft is stacked with talent. Its crazy how yall think theirs nothing this draft lol.
You can’t say shaq didn’t change the game when the entire league strategized to take him out of games. Come on bro, don’t be disrespectful.

Cool, and Golden State only has 2 Defenders
And guess what. They also have 4 championships baby
KD averaged 30 this year like damn ignore the entire regular season huh 🤣
Looney is not doing that against the Celtics bigs…it’s so fckn ridiculous how that’s everyone’s argument for Looney’s impact in the series like AL and Rob are going to make Looney and green look like children on the boards 😭 I’m sorry it’s just the truth
They’re making who look like babies? Nobody can hang with the dubs
I’m being nice by saying 6 but I think they have what it takes to beat the Celtics in 5️⃣
Nobody cares what u said Celtics in 5
U can say the same abt the warriors get bailed about.
@@damayadukes7797 nobody cares what you said, Warriors in 6.
bruh Kawhi got injured already like 2 times he aint that explosive anymore but other than that he became even more clutch in the outside and he STILL won a ring
KD also have Torn ACL but he still great but the Celtics defense is good also Kawhi is so careful on his body since the 2017 injury and he load manage what matters is come Playoff time he will ballin just like before he got hurt last year in the Playoffs they can go to the Finals
ofc you gonna take Tatum over Kawhi if you are talk about the future
but right now
Kawhi > Tatum all day
I mean Zion mom made him watch Jordan and bird to model his game 🤷🏼♂️
For me there’s two different ways to look at impact. For example you have players who changed the game of basketball and you have players who changed the league/NBA. Lebron, AI, Bird/Magic are some players that changed the league by changing player empowerment, or saving the League, etc. Curry, Dirk, Magic, Jordan changed the game and the way basketball was played. That’s how I look at it.
Drew j like to hear himself talk at this point
I have a beautiful voice
Ja morant play the whole series the warriors night not be here🤷🏾♂️
The Celtics have a team where all 5 starters can AT LEAST make 2nd-Team Defense
Damn that’s cool! Must’ve easily locked up GSW in the finals then.
I disagree with so many things you guys say. Putting Steph that high, saying dirk was more impactful than Larry bird. You guys know the game but the history of the game is lacking. Your ages show in your takes. If you guys were 20 years older you would feel completely differently
This one is an L. Celtics are the more talented team and will win in 6
This comment is an L. Maybe next year for BOS tho!
imo we need to drop how much accolades/resume weigh how good a player was. personally i don’t have wilt and russell in my top 10 because taking competition and volume into account, they don’t stack up as BASKETBALL PLAYERS to a guy like hakeem to me. just a thought. this is why i believe steph could shoot higher than 10.
@@Notcleverenough not even a logical response. can’t talk to everyone on the internet lol 🙄🙄
@@Notcleverenough u mad pressed and talkin over the internet bruh 💀 you got issues. ain’t nobody say nun and you mad asl. “see me in person or hush” maaaaaaan who ARE you LMAOOO sit your nobody ahh down!
They were literally basketball players tho. Just because they played along time ago doesn’t mean they shouldn’t stack up.
@@DTS_I im saying that bill russell playing against 7 teams total and only having 2 rounds in the playoffs deserves to be brought up when discussing how “dominant” championship runs were. the comp was weak, todays players are much better. my argument is these older guys don’t stack up in the grand scheme of things
@@mylonevibe now that’s just a toxic narrative trying to discredit legends to justify the success of the players of today. They can’t be penalized for playing in a “weak era” because that’s not their faults, it’s not a fault at all.
The Trae Young one is tough lol I take Trae though
Bucks had an average regular season defense cos they won the chip last year so had a short offseason and didn't care about the regular season and coasted, their anchor in Brook Lopez was out the whole year. Miami played the 8 seeded Hawks and their defense wasn't as good
A lot of y’all were trippin talking about oh KD didn’t get doubled like Curry when they played together but riddle me this…why TF did the Celtics double and triple team KD in this seasons playoff series and leave Curry alone most of the time in this finals series??
Thompson isn’t as good as he was before the injury unlike KD.
This Curry vs KD and Lebron sh** needs to stop by you kids!!
Curry is the best shooter ever but THATS IT!!
Green can’t shoot to save his life!!
This was with JT playing like garbage 😂
I’ll tell you this now because Curry went the second half pretty much nonexistent with just man to man coverage.
Stop comparing Curry to KD…
1 of them was finals MVP 2x and the other one …..wasn’t.
I like Curry but stop this nonsense!!
Lebron and KD are just on a different level than Curry is.
