Adorable embellishments! I hadn't seen bobby pins used before, what a great idea. I just love everything and your brooms are my favorite. Thank you so much for sharing.
Super cool halloween decs. I loved the witches brooms very inventive, the hair clips were a brilliant idea on using up left over buttons etc, thanks for sharing just subscribed have a blessed day Nicole UK
Love love love!! Wish I had seen this last week. Oh well, it'll be a great excuse to start hoarding, I mean stockpiling, for next year! I probably missed it but where are those spiderweb die cuts from? Thanks for sharing!
Thank you! I was later than I wanted to be with posting these videos. Glad I could give you some inspiration though :) Those are spiderweb doilies from American Crafts. They are currently sold out, but here is the link so you know what the packaging looks like: amzn.to/2QmDAIf I picked mine up at Tuesday Morning.
PaperLovely Awesome! Thanks for the link! Hawaii is lacking with a small (and expensive) selection in our craft stores. Looking forward to more. Aloha!
Adorable! Love the rosettes! So how wide do you cut your paper at and how far apart do you score them? I assume the wider you score the paper the bigger the rosette? I see that you ended up cutting the strips down to make the smaller rosettes. Great way to utilize the paper you have already cut and not waste any! Those were definitely my favorite!
Thanks - paper rosettes are one of my favorite things to make! I originally cut them 1.5 inches and scored them at every half inch. They weren't folding properly (I think because I lost that extra inch by combining the two 6 inch pieces instead of having one long 12-inch strip). So then I ended up trimming them down to 1 inch and 1/2 inch. I have a more detailed video just focused on making rosettes under my 5 minute tutorials playlist which might help if you are new to making them. Let me know if you have any other questions :)
Thank you :) I thought the brooms would be really cute to tie onto a little Halloween gift bag. You could also use them for table decorations at a party.
@@paperlovely5759 Thanks, They are super super cute. I imagined a scene from fantasia (an old old animated film), but w/ a Halloween scene with a cauldron and witch in the background. so many things can be thought of. Just adorable work you create. Thanks so very much.
Thank you :) They are old Martha Stewart fringe scissors. www.ebay.com/itm/Martha-Stewart-Crafts-Fringe-Scissors-Scrapbooking/174034245082?hash=item28853fd5da:g:GuUAAOSwd2JdbEyM
Do you use a low heat glue gun or high heat? You scared me every time your hand got close to the tip. Not so much in this video but the one after this I thought for sure you would burn yourself. Can you tell I am terrify of a hot glue gun so close to your hands.
lol - I use one of those cheap ones from the Michaels bins at the front of the store (I think maybe it was $3). It does get pretty hot but I've never burned myself on the tip which is surprising as I can be a bit of a klutz :) I have the video speed up to like 400% so it probably looks more reckless than it actually is.

What is on the top of those Bobby pins so they lie flat?
They are bobby pins for jewelry making and have a little flat circle on top of them. Here is a link to the kind I use: amzn.to/2ENhBZM

Also - only the little silver portion at the very tip is hot.
