Every photo back then cost money for film and to develop so you never pushed the button unless you got a good one, today doesn’t matter how much you push the button it always costs nothing
Gotta love the SNL Twin Peaks promo at the end as well. Oh how i used to love the NBC days, that was my favorite time of watching the show, although i did watch it quite a few years into the CBS one.
5:45! That's amazing! They really went extra miles! I didn't know that there was a real "Smoking Gunn II" and in 1990! So everybody was just wondering "Who is Nick Lang? Does it remind me Michael J. What an amazing find this was \m/
So handsome
What a wonderful time capsule of real life in 1990... Late Night was so perfect at just connecting with folks. This was uproariously funny!
Kids today will never understand how exciting it was to pick up your photos and finally get to see if they turned out.
Ohhh okay

Wait, he mentioned Sinead O’Conner, was this the controversial episode where she rips up the picture of the Pope?
@@kingofmadpropsI just did some research and the pope picture incident was during a different appearance in 1992 when Tim Robbins hosted . 🤷♀️

This was the best stuff. Dave could wing it better than anybody in the business to this day.
I didn't see Dave "winging" anything.

The baby in that photo is 33 now!
Imagine if you were that baby today, watching your dad proudly showing off his first photos of you.
Well, assuming something unfortunate, something untoward, didn't happen sometime. Perhaps involving a husky idler.
It's amazing how wholesome everybody was back then
Dave at his best, spontaneous 😁
Nothing spontaneous about it.

surprise twin peaks
Didn’t know Harold Ramis worked at a photo shop.
Well, Dave, ya caught a real British wag there!
These were great...please more of these as there were quite a few with some funny reveals
Sinéad O'Connor was there too, AND she had some objections.
Not on this episode. That wouldn't happen til a few years later.
