- Assassin's Creed Mirage has been out for over a month now and the community has been wanting a DLC for it. However, before the game was released the creative director confirmed there were no plans for DLC. That may be subject to change depending on the popularity of Assassin's Creed Mirage and in this video I go over some of the best ideas for an Assassin's Creed Mirage DLC. This game has a lot of DLC potential and it would be a shame to let it go to waste...

I’d personally love to see Basim become kinda like the new Ezio and have several games dedicated to his story. I think he’s a really fascinating character and could bring a lot to the world of AC
Definetly. He is a great protagonist. I loved him in Valhalla and forced myself through the story just bc of him. I would love to see maybe a deeper look in his relationship with Hytham. He clearly became his personal student at some point. I loved it already in Revelations that you could train Assassins and they had personal stories attached to it something similar with a deeper story would be so awesome. But this is probably wishful thinking :D
Like I said it's possible in future as like kassandra he is one of known protagonist alive into the present day timeline. But dint think it be this game unfortunately
He is one of the most intriguing protagonists in the franchise. After Mirage it's obvious that it is Loki who adds a lot of spice to Basim, because young Basim was actually idealistic and kind of innocent, but I really like that ambiguity he had in Valhalla.
We've had two full games with him so far and i feel like i still dont really know him. He gives me an uneasy feel when Hes on screen... And for loki i guess there's no higher praise😂. Personally id like to learn more about his isu past. There's a lot there that still doesn't quite make sense to me... Hopefully if he does have more games (or at least is a side character in them) they'll be answered. One of them for example is whats the deal with Fenrir being portrayed as a wolf? What does that mean? Why a wolf? Etc. Hopefully that gets explored more. as well as the connection between basim and Loki

An expansion covering the early years of Basim’s mentorship of Hytham could be a pretty good way of adapting the recruit mechanics from Brotherhood to Assassin’s Creed 3 for the modern engine.

Not a fan of Hytham. He can’t even aerial assassinate a distracted target and gave himself a career ending injury instead. Hytham is a Henry Green level assassin.

Hytham also had no business interfering in Eivor's revenge. He got what he deserved.
I think Basim actually deserves more than just a DLC or expansion, he deserves a full trilogy like Ezio, using the true power of the new gen and full triple A support on development in the games.

@@Newera1047 I believe there's a chance for our hopes and dreams, Mirage already is a departure from the conventional Assassin's Creed trilogies cicle, Codename Red looks like a base for other games build upon from it's body and Ubisoft Bordeaux hit out the park in the first try, so the moral for pitch anything they want and sucessed is plausible enough, beyond Mirage endes, leaves a lot of years between what we see and Valhalla, so there's a lot of opportunities to take the history forward.
For me, I think the idea of having a "side trilogy" following Basim could be great. Smaller in scale as the main line games, with the focus being stealth and black-box missions, oof that'd be great. Basically a hitman style trilogy but with Basim searching for templars, while also trying to find clues about what happened to the Isu and how he has one inside his head, ending with Basim meeting Sigurd.
First of all we need NG+, hopefully replayable contracts and black box missions

Thanks to your channel, I’ve gone back to Unity, realizing that game isn’t easy at all when you start from zero. You don’t have the tools you need yet, nor the health or the weapons/armor. And Paris? Good lord, that city still looks incredible.

There's literally gameplay of someone cheesing the full game with no upgrades. The game is easy as sin.
Maybe not a DLC but a sequel where we connect to the story of Valhalla. How we will train Haytham to become a hidden one. Meeting Sigurd in Konstantinopel, maybe even play through the events of Valhalla through the eyes of Basim.

The novel The Golden City covers that pretty much.
Far fetched idea, since Valhalla had a tie in with Cassandra, maybe have Bayek in the DLC, through some kind of dream state that Basim enters. Using some kind of ISU device perhaps. That leads him to Sigurd, setting up the events in Valhalla.

If they decided to make a DLC for MIrage, they MUST add the Assassins Recruits from the Ezio games since Basim is now a Master Assassin.
Hopefully we get his journey with Sigurd
apparently the panel on the homescreen for new adventures is just a place holder for those panels. there was similar panels for origins and oddysey that still said "stay tuned for more adventures" well after they stopped updating those games
It is really ironic that Ubisoft listened to gamers that complained about the length of Odyssey, Origins and Vahalla. Those games also had dlcs. So, they made a shorter game, now complaints that the game is too short and want dlc. A lot of you gamers need to make up your mind. Ubisoft, you need to listen to the gamers that enjoy your Assassin's Creed games and their lengths

I hope if any dlc comes out for Mirage, they give more tools and items to the main game instead of staying at a separate save game, I really liked Franciade and the guillotine gun because the same Arno frim the main game could use it in Paris and at any moment you can go to Franciade without a separate save...
Constantinople with Basim meeting Sigurd and Cairo with Roshan's book taking place there could be amazing settings, but we can only hope
I don't see Ubisoft splitting any resources that could potentially take away from AC Red's development. Maybe a few new contracts, outfits and weapons, but I wouldn't expect more than that.
Changing direction from Animus scenarios, having some modern day material. Mirage has been the lightest on modern day material of the mainline games, even Unity and Syndicate had more. The end of Valhalla hinted that Basim has plans in the modern day, and him uploading his own memories into the Animus for William Miles to experience was to help Bill understand him better, but Mirage carries none of this forward and for the first time since Syndicate we’re at a point of no real trajectory for future games.
The DLC I want is set in Constantinople with Basim and Hytham. I love Basim as a character and I find him fascinating. Really any DLC with Basim as a protagonist, delving deeper in his character growth is great for me. I'm sure if the demand is here Ubisoft might do something.

In my review I talked about really wanting DLC covering the timeline immediately after it’s ending. Diving more into Alamut and it’s knowledge of the ISU could be an interesting line to follow as Basim develops a deeper understanding of who he is. Tie in Roshan actively trying to stop Basim as he goes out in search of more artifacts and there’s a-lot of potential.
Things I want that is not a DLC is NG+ and Randomly Generated or Daily Assassin Contracts that would reward you with currency to buy cosmetics you otherwise would buy with real money.
DLC wise I'd want them to expand upon the hinted at Double Hidden Blade that is in one of the bureaus.

@@xXSonTJXx-x Did you even play Mirage? Because in Mirage in one of the Bureaus there's a letter that literally states there are someone experimenting with dual hidden blades.
It's clear. They could go to Constaintinople, or they could do a quest within Babylon itself. Like you go to the Ancient City of Babylon and find some hidden Isu stuff. I would like to see more of this. This would be a hidden city buried deep under-neath the city.

Mirage is my is tied as my third favorite ac game with origins so for the DLC I would love to see what Basim does after the main story. Maybe we can see how he and Loki work with each and how this body sharing works between them. We could also see how Basims father had a major impact on his character and his work was stolen. I absolutely recommend mirage to anyone because its gameplay is great and story does pretty well especially the beginning and end.

Personally I would want to see a young Al Mualim. This works perfectly in the sense they can reuse most of what they made already just updating to a complete Alamut and some minor tweaks to some buildings but mostly reusing what they already did since we know Al Mualim originally trained at Alamut and we can see him progress there and maybe have him also complete missions in Baghdad. This would show what lead to him being chosen to lead the brotherhood at Mayaf. We could also maybe learn more about Roshan’s influence through her letter she sent at this point, and maybe they actually moved the letter back to Alamut just for an excuse to let us read it. Where this DLC could really be used to finish connecting the dots.
Further explanation to what I think this could add that I cut because my comment was too long, but for those who are interested: I think this would be the most interesting lore edition that would be the perfect time to do so. That could also give a lot of insight in the shift in when they become Assassins with also maybe allowing us to know about Roshan’s letters influence on this later version of the Creed. It’s a good opportunity to add the influence to what maybe started Al’s obsession with the ISU artifacts with him maybe sneaking away in training to study the ISU memory keys that could’ve helped give him the edge and standout amongst his piers along with showing off his skills at a young age to show why he was chosen to lead at Masyaf castle. I also wouldn’t mind if they made him an Aita sage but it’s also not necessary either. Just thought could lead to a different skill to replace Assassin Focus and add more interesting lore to his missing eye as a possibility.
Me personally MA i think you have some dang good idea for DLC's, and if some Ubisoft workers see this video one of you great idea's may become a reality. keep the good idea's and video's coming!👍
Well, there is a story, I Thought of
300 years after basim, a female assassins appears, with 2 hidden blades, at that time, the Mongols are surrounding Baghdad.
your target is:
-help the assassins take their books and tools outside baghdad by accompanying them outside of baghdad, protect their convoy ,
-stop the mongols from throwing infected dead bodies into baghdad walls
- collect data about the leader of mongols and the POE he possess(if you have fear, this POE will make you see illusions)
-and finally,(yousef Kharbosh) you get to assassinate some of the ministers of baghdad convincing the khalifa to surrender and the mongols would spare them
and yeah, in fact, the mongols could infuence the people of baghdad to fight each other
final mission...(you follow the leader to his place, he is at the oasis in AC mirage, but the dessert surrounding baghdad is full of camps of mongols.
you fight him , he is a hard boss, he summons illusions of the people you killed, that you felt guilty about them, then, you break free, you separate the POE(locket) from his neck , you assassinate him but the place is collapsing, you forgive yourself, with no regret you accept death, then you are saved by a mysterious figure
you wake up in the only remaining bureau in baghdad, the man asks you about the POE and how it felt to use it against the leader, then he tells you to keep doing your job, cause he is collecting a team to assassinate genkiz khan the king of mongols, before leaving , you ask about his name, he replies : Altair... Ibn La Ahad.
I think a DLC involving Roshan isn't likely to happen. Especially given the fact that their's already a book out involving her. Ubisoft doesn't like adapting games from them. Which is a shame. But the other DLC idea's I think are possible. Meeting Sigurd while mentoring Haytham would be a great DLC to play. But I'm not holding my breath.
I don’t see why at least adding new assassination contracts couldn’t be done. Have a smaller team continue to develop cool assassination contracts and you will keep having players play the game. They don’t even have to be that in-depth. Just being able to flex your full assassin skills and taking down whole camps of enemies is a ton of fun as it is.
On a side note, I just got a huge dump of awesome new black and gold costumes and fully upgraded weapons when I logged in earlier today. What was that for? I’m on Ubi+, btw.
If they can send a whole heap of new gear and costumes (along with a new assassination contract at the exact same time as the gear dump, which is the first new contract I’ve had in over ten hours of gameplay), I don’t see why they couldn’t have a small dedicated team continue to make old school AC assassination missions for Mirage. Give the people what we want, for crying out loud. For the better part of seven years we have wanted an old school game like Mirage, so it would really make sense to continue to develop that kind of content that is in such high demand.
If they are just now sending out new costumes and weapons to players, could that indicate some sort of new game+ mode coming at some point?
If I were to describe ac mirage in one word it would be “ *potential* “
Baghdad is one of if not my favorite setting for any existing ac game. The biggest thing that is really holding it back for me is the lack of control and speed over assassinations. Untiy has refined this mechanic to an ornate edge. Being able to choose if Arno kills quickly or flashy was a beautiful thing which added such a deeper level an immersion. I’ve done some toying around with the mechanics and what makes me sad is that it’s there, it’s a tucked away feature that is far from refined but it exists. And it’s safe to say auto jog is the culprit. If Ubisoft just gave us the same control over Basim as we had with Arno, In my opinion it would be the best stealth oriented game I’ve ever played.
i still need to get mirage at some point can't wait to have the old AC feeling when i can afford it in 3 years😂

Seeing as the idea of new dlc is more than likely not coming, I feel that new updates bringing quality of life would be more suitable and obtainable. Adding more parkour animations and assassination animations would honestly be enough for me; an example of this is when you slide, it’d be great to have an assassination to accompany it.
Another good set are the backward ejection animations into haystacks like from origins, or even a new skill like double assassinations. Because Basim has a dagger… a bit far fetched but still, that’s all it’d take. Or even hidden blade combat god I want it back so bad , I used to beat all the games using only hidden blades it’s just too good.

Hey, I would just like to recommend something. Whenever you say theres spoilers, maybe its nice to mention when the spoilers part ends? This can be done with the chapters feature, maybe? Or just a timestamp on screen could help.
I would love that Castantinople idea, but yes, it's too big for a dlc to develop in only a year. regretful.

I think the best dlc idea is playing through the origins in Roshan with a small playable area of Persia then going to alamut

PARKOUR: for the parkour you take assassin's creed unity's parkour and make it more smooth and some more moves maybe. STORY: the story line cant be to long but also cant be too short 20hours is good or 23hours so you dont have to spend 1 year to colmplete it or spend 3 hours to colmplete it the story line must be interactive and make the players connect to both the story side caracters and main caracter for a more thrilling play time. SIDE MISSIONS: the side mission should be good interactive and not too hard difficulty should be added to side misson's making them either harder or easier. side caracter's: side caracter's should be interactive and make the player connect to them for example grief grief should be hard on the caracters and make them may not want to leave theyre house because they feel pain and sadness the side caracters should show feeling not just motion theyre voice might be in a worried tone or sad tone depending on the cenerio they are in. a friend might ask you to help her/he to calm down. MAIN CARACTER: the main caracter should connect with the audience and leave a print of understanding for the main caracter on the people playing the caracter should not be dry the main caracter should have emotion and feelings. THE MAP: the map should be big with diffrent area's to explore for example one area may be snow or a desert one maybe will be a forest and other part's of our real life nature. MAP (CITY) the city should be tight but not too tight theyre should be roof tops to jump across from ledges to leap from and higher places and land marks to climb and imbrace the view theyre should be thing's to jump ontop and thing's to swing on well thats the end hope you liked it

The funny thing about Ubisoft are with the bad games like Odyssey or Valhalla they made them way too long and then when they decided to creat a great AC game that go back to the roots with great Location like Baghdad and alot of old school mechanics back they made it way too short !!

Honestly, never-ending supply of radiant assassinations thefts and contracts. Continuous supply of outfits and weapons with special properties. That would be enough. Tack on New game Plus already and that could go forever. All that you mentioned ain't going to happen...

Out of all these ideas, I like the Basim-hytham mentorship as the DLC the most. I don’t really see a need to connect it all the way to Valhalla and Constantinople. I think we saw both with Valhalla and Rogue that Easter eggs and connecting the storylines between games can be cool, but not necessarily compelling in terms of what it contributes to the overall character’s storyline. I loved Basim 10x more in Mirage than Valhalla.
No DLC just a sequel game for Edward , Arno , Connor , or Basim PLEASE

Bro how many copies have been sold according to you?
NG+ and bug fixes for pc version. Beginning cutscene freezes on my pc but rest is smooth i use a 1660 gpu and ryzen 7 3200 with 32 gigs ram so i know its not my pc. Given rest of the game except a few things dont load runs smooth. As for NG+ i feel it needs it given how small the game is and its not like keeping gear and levels would break the game.

Honestly I hope they'll get the chance to make a sequel for basim where he trains basim and we see the events that transpire in Constantinople. I would love to see that father son relationship basim and hytham share. Plus I would love to see Bordeaux create a game without relying on Valhallas engine.
Either give us Basims' side of Valhalla in England, or Basims story in Istanbul.

I really enjoyed Mirage! I had such a great time and found the story really engaging. My only criticism is I can’t stand the cutscenes and talking to NPC cameras. It looks horrendous, lifeless and such a step down from previous games. But apart from that, great time

I’m just hoping for NG+ if we don’t get any significant DLC. A note for Roshan, from her appearance in Valhalla makes a special comment to her blade “retrieved after a long absence”. Immediately after Mirage, Roshan left the order and even left her hidden blade. DLC with Roshan would limit her gameplay as a Hidden One - at least after Mirage rather than after Valhalla.
I would love to have a prince of Persia dlc I mean come on why you have to pay 10$ to get the outfit
I'm hopeful they will add some sort of DLC for either extra story missions or just assassin contracts but I'm a little worried now because JorRaptor recently put out a video addressing that title card of "stay tuned for new adventures" saying he spoke to the creative director of Mirage and he said that the title card was an accidental placeholder that was put out and there are still no plans for DLC at this time. I'm hoping he was just saying that so they won't feel pressured to release something in the next few weeks, but I'm not sure anymore. I hope they do, we at the very least need New Game + and option to replay the 40 thieves DLC over again, along with replayable assassin contracts.

Bro as I didn’t complete ac valhalla so i have a question that where did Roshan go at the end of mirage and I know she appeared in Valhalla but don’t know the story
She appeared in Valhalla to assassinate Al-Sila (Makira) and collect a document from her, she later then travelled to Jerusalem to ‘plant a seed’ there basically meaning she laid the foundation for the Levantine assassins for AC1
