I'm stoked about the idea of farming together with friends. I'm also thinking of parkour races, puzzle competitions, hologram co-op/high difficulty raid. Hopefully they make changes in future to make these things possible. I forgot what it's called but that thing that you put down on the ground and notify other players, it was in the very first trailers, and I think that would fix the problem of not seeing what your teammates are doing. It would also open to more possibilities, like maybe phantom echo hunting? Where you guys split ways to hunt echoes, just like classic mmorpg treasure hunts. I'm soooo excited for this game.

I had a blast in genshin at release running around the world just discovering hidden chests but we had to each be in our world to collect It so we were just running around alone in the end telling each other chests locations
Thats because each acc has their own world and is not shared like a server in an MMO. This does come with advantages with ping (unlike a server, its just you and a few people) and others so just treat it as a mild inconvenience

0:46 was wondering if they did not respawn so you can only kill them once and you can never fight them again? But does it give the same stats like the other yellow echoes? Or are the red ones have better stats?
It will be the same as normal drops from others, but in the early levels of the game you're restricted to green-blue early on. But if you have a friend help you kill these you can get yellow grade early in the game.
Quick questions, does anyone know if you can play the story with your friends? Can you progress side quests in co-op? like turning in items to NPC's, Can puzzles be solved in co-op? just praying/hoping/wondering if you CAN do some of the things you CAN'T do in Genshin
The limit to domains only having unique characters is nice. Though would suck if you build on a specific character and have to choose a different character because said unique system. Reason to like Tower of Fantasy's system as you can stay your character and just utilize the weapon/swap out... Shame they don't consider that route if they just don't like the idea of same characters... or whatever their reason is.
Oh, this's not like what i hope for that the chests are not shared. Ex: if you have 2 friends join to explore world, they cannot pickup chests. and they have to run that process again on their own world. only i played GI and ToF before, only ToF has that feature, which is why i left GI.
You didn't say anything about one of the most important things. How about the story? Can we progress together or its purely solo like in genshin? Most of my friends dropped GI because we couldnt do much as a team.

Like the glowing big sakura tree thing. Maybe they will adjust it because they also said they want to unlock coop early on.
Does the map like reloads itself when a friend comes in?.. like assuming you find yourself a shiny and you want a friend to come over for him to also get it but turns out the map reloads everything.
Looking foward to the lore, main storyline and sceneries. Love the apocalyptic theme, but i hope they add more colorful characters like Verina and Encore. "I want to be colorful character in an apocalyptic world."
Other people looting your world chests is a very bad thing imo Not cuz of the looting here and there but cuz then people would infinitely farm treasure chests on alts and chests give gacha currency so it's a really bad thing
Co-op is mostly for grinding and sharing echoes right now. Elite mobs are limited per reset. I don't think you can quest together because some quest require to watch a cutscene and the person with the quest will need to quit multiplayer.
When killing those elite enemies with red aura that doesn't respawn, do they scale with union level or do they have a fixed level regardless of your union/world level?

What's the point of restricting Co-op play to level 25?? I've had friends quit Genshin before hitting AR 12 since they couldn't Co-op with me until then...
This was in the beta, I believe they are changing it to earlier levels now. The developer notes said " Co-op mode will be available sooner, at a lower Union Level"

Genshin coop is not necessary and even a hassle. WuWa(base of CBT2 build) the coop is the optimum play. Echos farming will be consider biggest part of the game. Once you clear the entire map there's be respawn time which the problem because you have to wait till reset BUT by doing Coop u can echo hunts your friend map instead. More enemies = higher%echos drop.

If you ever run out of echoes in your world n want to play all day, you would need to join other players world.
