02:05 This is such a small but important change in my opinion, this lets you show your friends some of the further content/zones without them needing to spend hours playing the game
This also lets you help your friends progress faster.
I always hated this about genshin , I'd get one of my friends into the game and would want to show them Inazuma, but it was impossible due to WL difference and they'd have to grind through the entire Mondstad/Liyue story line just to get a peek at the only zone they are actually interested in.

I'm stoked about the idea of farming together with friends. I'm also thinking of parkour races, puzzle competitions, hologram co-op/high difficulty raid. Hopefully they make changes in future to make these things possible.
I forgot what it's called but that thing that you put down on the ground and notify other players, it was in the very first trailers, and I think that would fix the problem of not seeing what your teammates are doing. It would also open to more possibilities, like maybe phantom echo hunting? Where you guys split ways to hunt echoes, just like classic mmorpg treasure hunts. I'm soooo excited for this game.

Well, to be honest having a coop in a game which is kinda hard is super good and super fun.

I don't understand why they can't just make chests around the world collectable in coop to everyone if you still didn't collect It in your world . I had a blast in genshin at release running around the world just discovering hidden chests but we had to each be in our world to collect It so we were just running around alone in the end telling each other chests locations
Thats because each acc has their own world and is not shared like a server in an MMO. This does come with advantages with ping (unlike a server, its just you and a few people) and others so just treat it as a mild inconvenience

I can't wait to play Duet Night Abyss.. but I will def be playing WuWa. I really hope we have a way to grind or farm wish currency. Warframe style would be cool to.. Farm bosses etc to craft characters

Once they fix co-op it's so over for me. I'm already so excited that they're reducing the level needed to do co-op 🥵

Can I personally loot chests and solve puzzles in my world if I'm the host or does it lock it entirely if players are in your world?
When killing those elite enemies with red aura that doesn't respawn, do they scale with union level or do they have a fixed level regardless of your union/world level?
The limit to domains only having unique characters is nice. Though would suck if you build on a specific character and have to choose a different character because said unique system.
Reason to like Tower of Fantasy's system as you can stay your character and just utilize the weapon/swap out... Shame they don't consider that route if they just don't like the idea of same characters... or whatever their reason is.
Does the map like reloads itself when a friend comes in?..
like assuming you find yourself a shiny and you want a friend to come over for him to also get it but turns out the map reloads everything.
It does not reload itself, so if you found a shiny, you can invite all your friends in~
what about story? you can't do story together right? seems like i can't be in my friends world permanently until i'm done the story

0:46 was wondering if they did not respawn so you can only kill them once and you can never fight them again? But does it give the same stats like the other yellow echoes? Or are the red ones have better stats?
It will be the same as normal drops from others, but in the early levels of the game you're restricted to green-blue early on. But if you have a friend help you kill these you can get yellow grade early in the game.
They respawn daily.

can you do quests with friends or in coop? or will it force you to be solo? at least like side quests, i can understand saying no to main story

Ohh, they really couldn't figure out how to make people across regions meet together, couldn't they... (Soulworker has this resolved already despite high pings for one side)
They might be able to enable it later on since I was able to play with Rexlent who is from Asia and me from NA it was okay, other than desync issue after awhile.

You didn't say anything about one of the most important things. How about the story? Can we progress together or its purely solo like in genshin? Most of my friends dropped GI because we couldnt do much as a team.
Hmm, I didn't get to test that part out, I don't think you can progress together though since you progress your story and own world stuff.

@@SteparuTV Couldn't the story progression just be based on who's world you're in? I don't get the point of not letting people do story in co-op... If you've already seen the story in your world, what's the harm in seeing it again in your friends.
@@cwevan6433 I'm not sure there are certain parts of the story where new areas is unlocked, but if you join your friend and that area looks a lot different because they progressed more. Like the glowing big sakura tree thing. Maybe they will adjust it because they also said they want to unlock coop early on.

Co-op is mostly for grinding and sharing echoes right now. Elite mobs are limited per reset. I don't think you can quest together because some quest require to watch a cutscene and the person with the quest will need to quit multiplayer.

Quick questions, does anyone know if you can play the story with your friends? Can you progress side quests in co-op? like turning in items to NPC's, Can puzzles be solved in co-op? just praying/hoping/wondering if you CAN do some of the things you CAN'T do in Genshin

Other people looting your world chests is a very bad thing imo
Not cuz of the looting here and there but cuz then people would infinitely farm treasure chests on alts and chests give gacha currency so it's a really bad thing
Other players can't loot the chests from your world, they said that on the video.

There's a skip button for side quests and very probably for the main quest too.
Looking foward to the lore, main storyline and sceneries. Love the apocalyptic theme, but i hope they add more colorful characters like Verina and Encore. "I want to be colorful character in an apocalyptic world."

If you ever run out of echoes in your world n want to play all day, you would need to join other players world.

What's the point of restricting Co-op play to level 25?? I've had friends quit Genshin before hitting AR 12 since they couldn't Co-op with me until then...
This was in the beta, I believe they are changing it to earlier levels now. The developer notes said " Co-op mode will be available sooner, at a lower Union Level"

it encourages us to make friends in the community so its not really bad. you get the echoes too if someone else kills them

They should put 6 characters (every players have 2 character) in coop 😢

Genshin coop is not necessary and even a hassle. WuWa(base of CBT2 build) the coop is the optimum play. Echos farming will be consider biggest part of the game. Once you clear the entire map there's be respawn time which the problem because you have to wait till reset BUT by doing Coop u can echo hunts your friend map instead. More enemies = higher%echos drop.

At now i think neverland is the best game despite it needs more updates for the system of match making and fixing lag but it's still the best because it's pvp,guild war and 2 others battelfields

Hmmm? You can farm unlimited amount of artifacts/echoes in coop if you and your friends pool resources in together.

I dont understand why they cant allow coop puzzle solving and looting treasure chest as long as limit the reward to the host. Coop is supposed to be helpful to the host

this is definitely a Genshin Impact Reskin, although the improvements are more than welcome, I still hate the coop, you should still be able to switch characters while in coop.
