    I've been looking at these for wood elf glade guard, so I'm glad to see they look as good out of the box as I'd hoped. Thanks for the review! I think the faces fit with the old GW hand-sculpted style that looks just right.

      Same here. Even if I could get a hold of the 8th Ed kits at a reasonable price, I don't care for the models. These have that Old Citadel look that will blend much better with my 4th ed sculpts.

    How well do these scale too the GW high elves IM thinking of getting them for a laurelorn army.

      I don’t have any GW High Elves so I’m not sure. The Oathmark elves look like they are more realistically proportioned compared to the GW heroic style, but this is just a guess

    I don't get the need for the square bases when the figures have a solid stable base to stand on. I mean I could understand it if the bases held multiple figures or acted as movement trays. But just a single base seems strange to me.

      The Oathmark rules use figure removal for casualties so the miniatures get individual bases
