I must admit,..when these videos come up, I automatically hit the Thumbs Up!, because I know it's going to be worth a thumbs up. Speaking of videos and videography that was pretty slick there when you guys had the lamps on, watching the bullets fly to their mark, that was a really good effect too.
Thanks Reg. I might just put a blank video up one day just to keep you on your toes😂🤣😀. The night video is certainly a new challenge but as you mentioned can be quite slick.
You can’t have more fun than that, on the hill with good mates eradicating one of Australia’s most prolific killers of our native wildlife. Fantastic video boys keep up the great work and having fun into the bargain all the while creating the best memories possible.
Great footage gents and cracking result. Extremely well shot and put together, love the banter between you all and shows just how long you’ve been mates for. Keep them coming👍
I must mention once again Steve, your doing extremely well to capture what hunters experience around them when they are out in the field doing what they love. We have such a beautiful country. Thanks again keep them coming. Happy hunting, take care. Regards George
Top video. A worthy sequel. Love the countryside you blokes get to shoot in. It’s a bit flatter over here inW.A. I really enjoyed the mix of spotlighting and daytime shooting.
Just started watching this channel, as I hunt too. I shot foxes in the UK, but here in NZ as you'll know, we don't have them. I lived in Adelaide for five years, but back then I was a competitive clay bird shooter and not into hunting with a rifle. I wish I could turn back the time, as Oz has some fine hunting. Keep up the good work and THANX.
Awesome stuff mate. Shows how much you've invested in camera gear for the bright, clear night video's. Certainly some light shy red dogs on the place looking at how some were straight outta there.
Excellent video mate you capture so much more than the killing aspect of hunting you capture the comradeship and the beauty of our country when I have someone who's not particularly keen on hunting I send them to your videos so they can see it's not all just about the kill and they get to see that with your videos
have enjoyed watching your vids over the last few days. great watching another aussie out there hunting. this vid makes me think you were in central tasmania? has the hills and valleys like it plus i noticed what i thought was a devil. thats awesome if it is. i too am in tassie. keep up the awesome vids. im learning a few new things from you. love the loose humour too XD
Glad you are enjoying our videos my friend. Certainly not in Tassie. We are Mexicans but not that far south. I hope you enjoy your stay. Thanks again for the feedback as it is much appreciated👍👍👍
ah right. Gee I didnt know the devils made it to the mainland. Regardless, awesome work. and thanks for the reply. I respect a youtuber who can take time to reply to comments. Happy hunting.
Some of our favourite critters early in the video there Steve, particularly the Tawny Frogmouth, love it when one comes and visits camp. Was he catching insects in the lights?
Great vids and doing the bush a great service. Would like a demo vid on scalping them foxes and how you prepare them for handing into the DEWLP office. I heard they can be picky !??
Thanks Doug. You don't need to be too fussy as long as you can tell what it is. Bag em and freeze them and then just hand them in. We have never had any issue
Another awesome little video Steve...love the slow mo showing the bullet trajectory when you were spotlighting, nice work....also love the drone footage too as it gives us all a different dimension in seeing the awesome country you guys have the privilege to hunt , after watching such great quality film making from you guys, i definitely need to step up my attempts of video making haha maybe acquire one of those bad boys when I get back in Aust , keep up the great work buddy and happy hunting....
Thanks mate. If I position myself correctly and get the camera setup to do the job you can get some good outcomes with the video footage. The drone certainly adds another dimension, something I probably don't do enough of. I'd love to see some more hunting content popup, especially local, so give it a crack mate. Take care and thanks again for watching.
Love these videos, I love he relaxed approach you guys all have and the scenery is just amazing. What brand are the shooting sticks and where can we get them from?
Thanks Rob. It really isn't my thing but you are not the first to mention this. I have had some stubby holders made up recently that will probably be up for grabs. Postage is the killer and it would work out best for everyone if I sold them for $30 for 3 delivered in Australia.
Thanks for doing this public service ima sook and couldn't myself so appreciate you guys we live in the best country.... every fox rabbit cat you dispatch a native might get a chance
Thanks Jake. Not a whole lot. Possibly a dozen over a couple of days. The vermin get pretty well controlled in this location. Gone are the days where we would be pushing 50 over a weekend and shoot 100's a rabbits a night. The last release of the rabbit virus a few years back has seen the numbers stay remarkably low in this area.
@@BoltActionProductions pleasure lads. Thanks for the great content and keep it coming! I'm always keen to hear what older blokes have to say. Straightens out my learning curve and generally gives me something tangible to think about
Bolt-Action Productions cheers love that you reply to comments it makes the RUclips channel one of the best , best of luck to you blokes on the next one

Enjoying time away with good mates is more important than anything else IMO. Thanks for watching.
Just too damn good mate!! You really put these together so well. Very well filmed and produced, and the quality just gets better and better!! :)

Thanks George. It certainly does mean I carry the cameras more than the shooting stick with up to 90% of footage ending up binned.

Awesome stuff mate. Shows how much you've invested in camera gear for the bright, clear night video's. Certainly some light shy red dogs on the place looking at how some were straight outta there.
Thanks Nathan. The area has the fox population regularly controlled and many were out of there in a flash. Might need some night gear🤣🤔

Thanks mate. Your comments are really appreciated.
Great shooting. I do have a question. Why don't you keep the entire skin?
If it is a good winter skin sometimes I still do but we get $10 for every fox scalp we hand into our government.
Lovely films guys well done. Keep up the great work.
Cheers mate. Always nice to hear that people enjoy these videos. We will try our best to keep them coming.........
Great film clip, who manufactures the yellow fox whistle, seems to work a treat

What brand are the shooting sticks and where can we get them from?
Thanks mate. They are "Stoney Point Steady Stix" but are no longer made. I believe Primos do a similar thing.
Another top quality job 👍 hows April going
Thanks Dave. She's doing well but kept away from the hunting scene at this time of year.
Hi guys, keep up the great work. Love the video!
By the way, what's the yellow whistle called?
Thanks guys!

With all the good shooting. How did you miss by that much at 5:28

Loved the shot on the run, 3rd time hit the mark !
That's why we always have at least one shotgun on the day. It keeps the rifle shooters on their toes. Thanks for watching Steve.

kerry baker. Cheers Kerry. Glad you understand some of the reasoning behind the control of Gerald in Australia.
Cant believe how long they hung around with the white light! Round where I shoot, a quick flash with the red light has them scampering off
Don't worry a few of the educated foxes were gone before we knew it. Get em while they are young and dumb.
Great shooting. Keep it up👍
