My older brothers would take me to the Phoenix Swap Meet when I was a kid...IT WAS AWESOME!!! Then, I started going alone in the early 2000's; and, it was still REALLY cool. But, now...the whole place is only half the size it used to be; and, almost everyone there is some sort of retailer, selling new stuff. The amount of people selling the exact same things is getting ridiculous (booty-pants EVERYWHERE). The prices on a lot of stuff was just WAY too high. The days of finding used "junk" at a good price are long gone. Also, most of the PS2, PS3, and any CD/DVD/Blu-ray games are fakes; they won't work in any console. The SNES, NES, and Genesis games were completely broken, and over-priced. You can find electronics pretty easily...but, finding electronics which actually WORK...good luck.
I lived out there 86-90 and used to frequent the swap meet(not as a reseller). Back then it was great!! Lots of bargains and fun stuff. Didn't have all the bootleg and fake items as they do now. They had great Indian jewelry, pottery, Pena prints, etc. One thing I remember was hearing the announcements of certain booths like dash covers.
Wondering where some of these folks get all these shoes. What percentage are real vs fake. The prices were outrageous and noone seemed to want to bargain.
Nah you did the right thing by passing. No value even if they were real. I’d bet money that 95% of every shoe at this place was fake. No matter what brand. Reminds me of all of the stands at county fairs that are full of fake vendor items
Well, good to know I'm not missing anything by not going to that flea market. Thankfully there are enough garage and estate sales to keep me well stocked! Gotta get to the West Valley one of these days though.
@@DanaInvests I haven't been to that one either. I usually have more than enough to keep me busy in the East Valley any given weekend but sometimes that cluster of Estate Sales I see in Sun City looks inviting for a change of scenery.
@@SportsRAPP imma have to disagree bro. I go and buy to this one . It’s a dope vibe just to even walk around with the family . I watched the video after he popped up on the RUclips . But he really bitched about everything . Most the shoes he says were fake aren’t fake . I watched it because I like watching stuff like this but he made it clear with this one , I can’t watch another one of his vids haha. But hey, he got my view and my like just cus I watched it
@RickieStains crying? It's a flea market full of knockoffs and priced above ebay. Just stating the facts but you can go buy your fake used stuff there all you want and I'll stay crying at the bank in Scottsdale.
@@DanaInvests lol i get grate priced items all the time they just prolly dont like you cause your walking around with a camera filming everything to put on your show to shame them fuck off dude go else where and buy your fake items
@@DanaInvests I tend to stay away from Flea Markets. Not saying you can't find good deals but alot of the stuff is fake and overpriced. Mainly because it's Resellers who sell there instead of online. Videos are great.
@The Reselling Husband yeah, I had just seen some other videos of people killing it at the flea markets so I figured I'd give it a try. I made money but it was rough
@@DanaInvests haha same happen to me after watch hairy tornado videos buying lots of stuff at flea markets for cheap ass prices, Phoenix flea markets are overprice full of off line resellers and fake stuff too.
I love that park N swap u just have to look for the good booths and have to go on a right day. It also looks really dead most good vendors are open on Weekends
Those are swap meets that only a few companies and they have all the same items they buy three or four spots and put the same items up so if you’re looking for collectibles or to buy and sell swap meets to go to those are the family past times one to eat and walk around,,
This place used to be fun to go to. it was more like a giant yard sale. Now it is somewhere between a dollar store and Walmart.

Yeah they are pretty bad. I haven't gone back since
Im wondering if any of the shoes were real when that guy had a disaproving look at you

Thought so, thanks!
I like how she pitched you $40 and $30 and then pitched you $35 and $35 like that was a better deal 😅
Right! That was tricky
Must be run by the cartel.

Yeah, I'd pass on this one again. The one in Glendale was better in my opinion

The Joduns 👌
I wanna check out this place again soon, thanks for sharing ❤
Gotta pass on high ass shoe prices, f em
Yeah, so many high prices and they refused to negotiate.
The small Jordan's were 15 nit 50
Yeah I caught that after I posted the video.
Brand New them Jordan's are going for about $100 and less than a 33% sell through. Good pass on all the other fake/high priced shoes.
Thanks, prices were so crazy, I've never seen them that high at flea markets. Thanks for checking out the channel !

You only have your gut when sourcing .. I’m not a sneaker head … but they were all way too clean. Prices super high … think you did good
Yeah I agree. I started looking at used only since I couldn't tell the new if they were fake
