The shortness of the music is because he believed that people would come back to listen to it multiple times because it was so good and different from anything else. A very good marketing strategy

Personally my interpretation of “I ate her, inside and out, I feel my stomach turnin'” I think he’s saying that he feels so consumed by thoughts of her and the idea of her. He became so obsessed to the point that it made him sick, at least that’s what I think.

X was my therapy honestly
Im 37 and this Kid's (XXXTenTacion) music touched me a lot. It made me see the patterns I felt when I was younger being played over in someone else and how familiar those patterns were, and still are as I still havnt reconciled them, I guess. I realised I didnt fully resolve the past I just buried it to keep moving forward and the music, words and sounds flowed beneath those...'wounds', for lack of a better term, of my past reminding me theyre still there because I can still feel them. X was truly a loss for the world and it's sad I wont get to see what he would/could have become and all the good his work would have on the world. RIP

I had watched the interview Look at me! here on RUclips that helped me understand his life a bit more. I’m pretty sure this song is about a girl he fell in love with, Geneva, who was kinda feeling that same distant state and depressed feeling. He had eventually fell in love with her completely and this led to an obsession added on to his already existing depression. This addiction became overprotective. One night Geneva escaped out of the house with a horridly black eye and bruises everywhere, she had ran to the police to report that jahseh, or x, had done this. In her report she included that Jahseh had hit his head onto walls and been hitting himself. X had informed the police that she had come home with a bruise and wouldn’t talk to him about it. (Who to believe im not sure) X had gone to jail and he talks in this song that his depression and his obsession hadn’t mixed well. He also says he poisoned and that he ate her inside and out, this entails that he opened up his home and let him into his life, but she had poisoned him and led him into bad places poisoning his reputation as well.
Sadly I didn’t know about him when he was still alive and I learned about his passing from my brother and he introduced me to him and his music
X understood his role and purpose as an artist and as a role model. To understand his mind and the way he lived would be to watch the documentary. Everything he did was for the fans/his cult and to be the good influence on them while he was alive.

You should definitely react to the XXXTENTACION documentary to really understand him, he also explains the meaning of this song in the documentary!
X would make his music short because he really valued the rawness in tracks, gives it more authenticity, that’s why so many of his songs have his voice talking before and after tracks which is not part of the song itself. He also used his music as a tool to heal others depression therefore getting his point across making songs short so people listen over and over again.
i can only imagine how lit his playlist is drivin around music blastin some fire
I think his songs were all intentionally short because they got to the point. I’m not sure if he specifically said this or just theory that all of his songs are like letters. Short and sweet
He liked to make a lot of “lo fi” musics that was different from others he also experimented with frequencies in his music that made people happy or feel positive.
His album 17 is full of uplifting n healing frequencies , man gotta respect that man for that rs 🫡🖤 he was really out here helping people
he defo needs to see the suicdeboys interview cuz they said that this is therapy through music; X, Peep, and the boys really shared therapy through music that’s why I love all of them and 2/3 is dead I really dunno what will I do with my life when the boys will die

Apparently he had a difficult life, and he wanted to produce that type of songs because he wanted to let listeners know that they’re not alone if they have or currently facing similar challenges to what he faced

Rumour has it one time Oloff was sat next to Jar Jar Binks on a flight. Jar Jar kept kicking the chair in front of him and generally being obnoxious, nobody knew what to do. Eventually one of the flight attendants came over and asked Oloff if he would perform one of his songs to calm Jar Jar down, and when Oloff began rapping the first verse to Doing It Stealthy, Jar Jar immediately relaxed. To this day the two are still close friends.

much of his music was purposely incomplete to force the listener to want more. but also from my understanding he was very meticulous in his music making and had a very specific sound/melody/message in each song

I believe one of his main ideas was to make easy and relatabe music to listen and enjoy or relate to, making them shorter so they can be more digestable for people with shorter attention spans and just to prove the point that a message can be delivered with simple words and a nice rythm
