I would never buy a Dyson again only had for a few years the head broke and when we took to the repair shop he showed us most vacuums were Dyson with same issues. He said to buy a miele which is also super pricey but last forever maybe not have all bells and whistle but super reliable 😊

Loved your back patio transformation in this video, and laughed so hard at the suggestion to declutter my clothes in a swimsuit. It is really a brilliant idea, but just hearing you say it and picturing it came across as very funny to me at first. 😂
Hi Lynn! For my Dyson vacuum... I just buy a new battery on Amazon for $40 - $45 - and I have the power of a "fancy Dyson". (I have v.7 & it runs like a dream!) You just have to make sure to match the battery shapes, but it's not hard to do since there's a wide variety. The battery that came with the Dyson was a 2.3 or something low like that & the other batteries were 4.2 or so. (I should mention my hubby's an electrician & all-around fix-anything-upper. LOL! He said it was fine to buy the battery without any worries.) In case someone could use this info - here ya' go! :)

But, if you're willing to pay attention a bit as you insert your vacuum to charge - it's not that big of a deal (to me, at least). The battery adds a little "backside" to it (lol) so it's a snug fit (mainly because they chose the SMALLEST battery to send with the original v.7 to begin with! Pfft!) If you have any questions, just ask! :)
I’m from West Central Illinois. 2 grown sons and our granddaughter/daughter is 17. She was our granddaughter from birth and we adopted her last year. She will be graduating in a couple of weeks.
We are also in our forever home. It is an older house build in the late 80s. We have updated some but we still have some ways to go but that’s ok. Happy you found your forever home!!😊

I had two Dyson broom vacs & hated that you had to hold the trigger while vacuuming & yes the batteries died. I have had a LG broom vac from Costco for 3 years, it has an on off button which I love! It came with two batteries & 2 filters and they’re still going strong!
Love how real your videos are. Honestly when you were in your dream home I stopped watching because the house was nice, but I don’t know this seems more relatable. Are your curtains black out?? I am having a hard time deciding if I get linen, satin, or black out.
