Discovering Canonmills: A quiet walk through a historic Edinburgh village

- Take a peaceful walk with me as I stroll around Edinburgh's historic Canonmills area. The name derives from the Augustinian canons of Holyrood Abbey who once owned mills here when Canonmills was a bustling village supplying flour to Edinburgh. The Water of Leith flows through the village and powered mills dating all the way back to the 12th century! The area also has connections to famous Scottish writer, Robert Louis Stevenson who lived and went to school here.

Another interesting video of areas I knew and frequented back in the days, I mentioned before that Mansfield Place , Bellevue Crescent and London Street was my postal delivery for a number of years, plenty exercise climbing all these stairs delivering mail, more memories to look back on.😊
