I was so frustrated and I cried a lot watching this, My bio dad did not drink but he was addicted to drugs and he said very awful things to me . At first all he did was call me names and belittle me but overtime he became worse. I was lucky though because I was able to get out of that situation early and then I was adopted by a single father and he showed me that the way I was living wasn't living. Sadly my adopted dad died about 5 years ago(I was 9) I'm 14 now and I have a new family but nobody could ever replace my adopted dad because he showed me how to live and he showed me how to have fun and let go of the past.He showed me Happiness 😊 💕 R.I.P Johnny J. I know she's 18 (19 in Korean age) and is a legal adult, but her father's been like this for years. She had to grow up with someone distant and detached from her. That's tough. I cried like a hell. this is so sad. when seeing a stories like this I miss my father more. He was the best father in the world. I don't know or saw any father who is better than mine. After having a father like him I can't get how some people can be called as father! this man never change. she needs to go and live her own life. he is hopeless.

She a strong girl. Simple thing, really but I remember being pissed of my dad when I call him to pick me from school because I was sick. I had to wait for almost 2 hours because he thought I was my sister. He drive from his workplace to my sister place and back to my school. He was so busy with his work, he didn't bother to look at the caller name and just drive straight ahead without a second thought.....Such an ingrate daughter I am when this girl had a dad that dare to say of how is that his problem when her only daughter is sick.

It's not just the emotional neglect, but the fact that the parents fight openly in front of the daughter and the father doesn't understand what that does to kids. I know she's 18 (19 in Korean age) and is a legal adult, but her father's been like this for years. She had to grow up with someone distant and detached from her. That's tough. She'll struggle her whole life with understanding what a real father is.
