Monster High DRACULAURA & CLAWDEEN Doll Review! Core Classic VS. Core Refresh! + 1000 Sub. GIVEAWAY!

- I was so excited to see these new Monster High Core Refresh dolls and Draculaura and Clawdeen Wolf are the first two to be released!
There has also been a Saran variant of the Core Classic Clawdeen floating around and I was lucky enough to get her from Amazon, so I thought why not do a SHOWDOWN between the first wave of Core dolls and compare them to the new Core Refresh dolls!
Who will come out on top, new or old!? Stay tuned to find out!

Draculaura always been fan favorite no matter the Gen
The best comparison I can think of is how core classic are freshmen and core refresh is more senior. Like they grew up and found their style
I truly like how they did this new version of School's Out cuz it truly feels like the characters are growing up and are adding more mature sides to their fashion while retaining the same concepts and sense of style... like, it feels like a horizontal exploration of the same fashions more than an evolution.

As a collector since 2010 I can tell you Draculaura has always been the fan favourite, she was always in every line no matter what and was always eaten up by the girlies I have a feeling her popularity is why G2 geared towards her as the main character whereas G1 Frankie was the main character
i love core refresh, i just wish they should've gave them purses instead of backpacks... that would have upgraded their looks so much and differ them from the first core dolls, as a more ¨mature¨ look. Anyways cant wait for the other core refresh dolls>
My fav Monster High character is Frankie(g3), they were my first MH doll but also their character in the new cartoon is so adorable (I literally cried during Monster Match) and so relatable in the live action

Abby will always be the superior doll in my heart, plus she gives me big Russian Regina George vibes in the original series, an actual queen 💕💕 congrats on 1000 subs btw xoxo
I think the dark makeup is nicer than what we got on the core classics but the clothing from the refresh dolls just drags them down a bit. My favorite character is valentine :v

Draculaura has always been the most "popular" character, even in G1.
My favorite character is Ghoulia while i like others in G3, it would have to be her and congrats on the subscriber's.

Also, Lagoona is my fav ghoulie, but Rochelle is a close second... we just need more Rochelle!

I found it on Amazon! There is new G3 merch in Adult sizing and I loved it. They do have some silly sayings on them like “creep it real all year long” but I don’t mind
This video convinced me that hunting a saran variant of the first Clawdeen doll would be a waste, I prefer the darker color palette for the refresh version as well as some of the outfit pieces. I can cobble together an outfit from both dolls' pieces. Hmm. This is a very informative video you really sold me on this refresh doll.

Hi! Nice to stumble onto your channel, which is new to me, and I'm now a subscriber! I LOVE Monster High Dolls, but don't care much for the new shapes and hard-plastic-y look on the newest dolls I ve seen (particularly on Draculaura). I think that it's great that dolls can come in all colors and sizes, but perhaps drastic changes should be introduced with new characters??? I admit I have a stubborn anti-change (maybe stuck in my ways?) personality of sorts, sorry....but I just love the older doll "makes and models" as they originally WERE. I DO always love, however, any new fashion and hair styles though, and am always on the lookout for anything like that! I'm even currently making my own Monster High doll house!!.... My favorite Monster High character/doll is so hard to say, or to pin down to just one. 😮. guess I would say Draculaura, Frankie, and Cleo. 😊❤

Aside from the hair color and fiber, I also agree on the first Clawdeen. Not too big on the cyan and cooler purple on the second one.

I think it was more even between all the dolls back in the day. When it came to favorites. They just had nice outfits were so pretty too. Where I think frankie did be a favorite just cause the show was centered more so around her. Where now the movie and show kinda have a lot going on for Draculaura

I'm still searching for a saran variant of Clawdeen's core classic doll. I tried ordering her on Amazon in the hopes she'd be saran. However, after I took her out, I realized it was indeed poly.
Dang, yeah it seems very random which one you’ll receive. My stores haven’t had her either but I’m hoping the Saran variant pops up eventually
How do tell the difference between poly and saran?
Generally saran has a more waxy feel and lays more flat against the dolls head, whereas poly is more dry and almost puffy in the way it sticks out the head. Saran is a lot easier to tame and style which is why it is usually preferred but poly also tangles easily and degrades over time a lot quicker.
As for telling the difference between Clawdeen, the purple streak on her saran variant is a color blend of a pink and purple color, whereas the poly Clawdeen it is just a solid purple fuchsia color.
I want to Know if both Draculaura have the same neck, because Core Fresh looks like she has short neck😢

they went from freshmen to seniors with this refresh, which I absolutely love.
I probably won't be able to buy them any time soon as collectors outside of the US just straight up don't get told when they're releasing internationally :c I'm guessing we'll see them released in 6+ months in the UK.
I love them all but i do like Draculura core fefresh better and i think i perfer core classic Clawdeen now that she has saran hair. I love her pocketbook better than the back pack. Pretty much everything you said i agree with 🩷🖤🖤💜💜🥰🥰
