The animation figures are art of Keith Haring, her friend who died of AIDS. They started out together in NYC.
Only M can redo her songs and have them sound fresh each time. She's fantastic.
The animated images are from Keith Haring, one of the pop art masters of the 80's. He was Madonna's friend and unfortunately passed away from aids.

This tour has such a good vibes feeling. It is a tour just for fun, I miss this era.
No one comes close to combining musical theater with the concert experience and turning it into a Pop Event. Her contemporaries and successors have tried, but it isn't something that just happens - you have to start from the bottom and work your way up. Back in 85, she began to redefine the concert event with her first national tour and started to set a standard for a whole new live performance over the years with each subsequent tour. Her willingness to experiment was a key to that growth. She just didn't sing her old ditties over and over again and run away with the money. She earned that cash by keeping things fresh, regenerating the old with new sound. Here, she is combining her old school New York street punk days with the rise of rap and contemporary electronic music by mixing 80's style "Into The Groove" with the polished 21st century "Toop Toop" and sampling funk, hip hop and even her own song Jump, used brilliantly to help shape the entire number into a tribute to her own myth ("Madonna ... Ciccone ... Madonna ... Ciccone"). Such a gag bag of sounds and styles epitomizes the secret of Madonna's success through three decades: no other performer has really been able to adopt and adapt as successfully as she has, crossing cultures, generations, genres, etc, with the ease of a voracious chameleon.
she played at Buones Aires River plate Stadium for 3 nights with 275000 crazy fans ,she is very loved in argentina.this is her most successful tour of all time the Sticky and sweet tour 2008-2009 she was 50 at the time she went everywhere with is tour.it's the most successful female tour of all time.

I think Like A Prayer and Devil Wouldn’t Recognize You were my fav performances from this tour when I saw it live. I maxed out my credit card to get two front row tickets on the catwalk for $1600 to see this. Lol

@@JokerG16 when I say favorite tour I mean of the tours I've actually attended. I've gone to all her tours starting with the Drowned World Tour. Blond Ambition is INCREDIBLE. If I had been born a little sooner I'm sure I'd be front row ♥️

💯 the original studio version cannot be touched. This version just does not come anywhere close to the flawless production and “groove” of the original.
I totally agree with you two...and the original wasn't even on a U.S. Madonna album as you probably know. It appeared in Desperately Seeking Susan and then just on a B-side of a single (I can't remember the A-side song).
The original is from Desperately seeking Susan movie.... and the mv presents scenes of the film.... a gem from 80s Madonna!!!!

From watching your channel , I suspect the sticky and sweet tour will be among your favorites the entire show has this type of energy. A MuSt is the rendition of Vogue; I think her tightest choreo.

Great concert and great changed-up version of this song. I saw this concert at Dodger Stadium. I think this is one of my favorite concerts of hers. The most engaged with the audience I've seen her.

You definitely need to check out the studio version (and music video) of "Into the Groove". It is one of her signature songs.
Fun fact: It was a huge worldwide hit but never released as a single in the US.
This concert was to promote Hard Candy. You can find the entire concert on RUclips. Most of her concerts are on RUclips and available on CD/DVD.They left it out of the samples of other songs you read but the first sample was "Evil Woman" by ELO, then JUMP from this album. Works so well

You are bang on Derek. The show was split into four sections Pimp, Old Skool, Gypsy and Rave. The animations on the screens and on the back of her jacket is by Keith Haring a famous artist who she was best friends with. He died from AIDS.

Specifically from the “Caio Italia” show/video. Her energy and dancing is off the charts!!!🔥🔥🔥

Into The Groove was a huge No.1 UK hit with its video snippets from Desperately Seeking Susan showcasing Madonnas iconic 1985 image which hugely influenced fashion & culture at the time in 1985.
Madonna revisiting reworking rehashing Into The Groove 22years later is horrific! She was obviously desperate during this tour to find new tunes that the audience could relate to especially the older members of the audience so she rehashed this huge 1985 hit. I mean did Madonna not know/didn't anyone tell her just how cringe she was reworking this in 2007? Madonna skipping on stage, well worth the €190 price of the ticket to see that .....yeah.
