- So I am super torn about the midseason finale. On one hand, as a Lydia fan I was absolutely livid about her getting knocked out in the first fifteen minutes, hardly having any screen time, and only being used as a plot device for other characters. On the other hand, as a Stiles fan I was ecstatic about his scenes in the finale, and in this season in general. One of my least favorite things about Season 4 was how they almost pretended like Stiles was never possessed by a dark spirit, and they definitely pretended like it didn't change him at all. This season they've explored some of the aftereffects of it - some of the darkness that the Nogitsune left behind, and some of the darkness that was there before and probably attracted the Nogitsune in the first place.
So this video is sort of a tribute to that. I wanted to express the conflicted feelings Stiles has - his relationship with power, feelings of helplessness in traumatic and terrifying situations, his guilt about his mother and the Nogitsune, Theo's manipulations, the schism with him and Scott, and his kill or be killed mentality.
This took quite a bit of work, so I'd appreciate any and all feedback. Credits are at the end of the video, so if you're curious about the song I used, look there. It's a fabulous song and I recommend buying it if you don't have it.

One thing about season 5 that always makes me laugh when I watch it is when Theo says he wanted Void Stiles in his pack. Theo wouldn't be able to handle Void Stiles. You can't trick a trickster. Theo might be able to play the game, but Void Stiles has the ability to control it and twist it to his own advantage.
Sit down Theo sweetheart, you have NO idea what your asking for.

Theo really would've bit off more than he could chew if he actually got Void Stiles x'DDD I lowkey would've enjoyed seeing Void Stiles beat the living daylights out of Theo, though. xD

Stiles has been through so much. He's a human in a supernatural world and I think it's getting to be too much. It tearing him apart. And I just want him to be happy
This is honestly one of the most riveting videos I've ever watched. Everything worked together, from the music to the quotes to the scenes you used. It was just perfect. Before I clicked on the video, I was thinking about how back in season one, Stiles was considered the comic relief. Even in season two he was mostly used to that effect, but there were always hints at a darkness inside him. I've been looking over clips from past seasons, and it's sad that after 3A, the videos shift from humorous Stiles antics, to videos exploring his darkness. And this video is the best I've seen. I am glad Teen Wolf is finally exploring the effects the Nogistune had to leave on Stiles.

I really like how complex the characters are- especially Stiles. You could describe him as the funny, sarcastic best friend but there is so much more to him. And the fact that the broken part of him had slowly gotten more and more obvious until the Nogitsune and he kind of just snapped, and it only got worst. But in the end, (well by the end i mean by the situations from seasons 3 to 6a) they were able to get everything under control and that whatever happens in 6b cant be any worst- I hope.
Exactly. He always had this ruthless rationality inside of him. When he mentioned killing jackson it more or less seemed like a joke but when you analyze it he probably thought, somewhere deep inside of him, that it would be the easiest and most efficient way to handle the situation without risking anything. That was one of the things i enjoyed so much with Theo and Stiles. After the whole thing with the nogitsune he started to doubt himself and was more and more rational and ruthless. Especially with Donovan. When he tried to help him, pulling the metal out of him, and realized that it was to late and, even if it wasn't, Donovan would still try to kill him he lost every will to help him. He felt guilty, not because he killed Donovan, but because he killed a person and didn't know how his friend and family would react to it.
This is by far, the best video showing Stiles' evolution and how he feels haunted by the dark spirit.The way you incorporated quotes from previous seasons, since Jackson's transformation, and interlaced Donovan's death with Theo's lies...plus the music in the background.. it was just so clever. I felt goosebumps throughout the video and I can't wait for season 5B, man
I'm confused on how stiles is able to punch theo and pick up Scott and push him to the ground
In my opinion I feel like void is still in him and always was. I mean his mother obviously sensed something wrong. Also his body was made out of void. Void stole his real body. Idk that's just some if my guesses
They both let him, Theo wanted him to and Scott wasn’t resisting, probably because he felt guilty

maybe the stiles already had void in him the fox just enchanted his darkside a little more but he already had it in him and now that he "killed" donavon he feels like he lost his mortality emotionally and probably feels insane and is unleashing his locked up darkness
Literally wanna give Stiles the biggest hug ever. Scott was blinded to a point he was lied to and when his best friend was trying to tell him the truth he wouldn’t listen. And Stiles had no idea Scott was lied to so it’s obvious he’s already blaming himself and on top of that, his best friend thinks he’s a murderer.
This is incredible, really. Stiles is one of my favorites characters ever, so i was really happy to see he had a real storyline this season, exploring his dark side is,for me,the best thing the show could do, i didn't like that in season 4 he was almost like the funny,goofy kid of season 1, it was incoherent with his character's development since. Development that you show perfectly in you video, everything is perfect, the music,the editing... you show perfectly what is so interesting and thrilling about Stiles's character.

This is so good! You should be so pleased with the way it has turned out. I totally agree that the after effects and trauma of Stile's expierences have to be explored more and I really hope they do this this season. He is one of my favourite characters as I believe he is one of the most truthful and real of all the characters and his acting is always superb and his mental state has to be explored much more as he has been through a lot. He may not be supernatural but he has definitely been one of the most effected in that world. You've set the bar high. Haha. Love it!
I want to thank Jeff Davis for keeping Stiles human throughout the show. Stiles character is kinda larger than life.Our abilities doesn't make us Great, but our choices does. Stiles was a average Teen kid.He dint have super natural abilities like his friends.But he was very smart, practical minded and had a good heart.Through out the series he made Great choices that made him a hero.
1.Decided not to get bitten by Peter even when he saw he was left behind from friends.
2.He always loved Lydia but never pressurized her to love him back. He was a chivalrous gentleman.
3.Since the beginning he protected Scott even though in initial days he knew Scott can heart him still he never left Scott.
4.Just like Scott he always saved everyone, even after being human he was ready to sacrifice himself.
Scott was like the best soldier but Stiles was like the king. He always made plans for supernatural operations and led everyone. Scott sometimes got emotionally manipulated but it was impossible to fool Stiles. And he had the purest soul that's why he got possesed by nogitsune

Very Well done video. I can't wait for the second part I'm really eager to see what happens next.
This video is so great. The song choice is great and the story that you tell through the clips is nice and smooth.
The only criticism I have is maybe work on the audio of the clips a little bit. Some are a little too loud in some areas, and also fading the volume of the clips instead of having it abruptly cut off would make it just that much better.
But overall I love this video. Awesome work (:

I was getting a friend through this show by sporadically skimming through random episodes from every season, and I talked a ton about what I didn't show her if it was relevant... but was like "Wait.. what even happened in season 4" and the fact is they really didn't do anything huh. I mean didn't he look voidy the whole season which was a nice aesthetic to keep but like... just... yea...
