Don't have a crawler, have never had one nor tried. If I keep watching videos like this, I will have one soon. Great video, course, and skills. Thanks for posting.
@@nigeldean1813 Look at the Crawlers from Axial (SCX10 2), Traxxas (TR4 Sport) and RedCat (Gen 8 Scout 2). Buy a RTR setup to start out with, RTR = "Ready To Run". These are kits pre-built/painted and come with all electronics installed and a radio. Only need to buy 1 or 2 battery sets. Buy from a local hobby shop if you can, (support for them is essential as many are going out of business), or buy online from Amain Hobbies, RcPlanet or similar.
Me too =) I started my chanel about an hour ago... but maybe you'd like to whatch my video? I'd like to hear some other opinions =) ruclips.net/video/fbulWwEED9c/видео.html
I went to good will and found one for only $2 and I searched it up it is $167 I saved a lot only thing that's missing is the charger for. the battery and now I'm going to order one for $7
Your best bet for not spending a lot of money is buying an Axial SCX10-ll Deadbolt. Cost $300 but comes with almost everything you need besides battery. Which will be like $30 or so for a 2s lipo battery. From there you can mod and build up al you want. Get a more realistic body, either lexan or hard plastic body. Unfortunately your gonna have to spend a bit of money to get into this type of "scale" rock crawlers, thats just how it is for now. Nothing too expensive though!
With the stated rules you should re-title this as A "Scale trail" class. Normal rock crawling has none of the stipulations of the items you mentioned mirror, etc. with exception to the tires. Crawling is all about crawling and not about looks, scaling is all about scale looks and sacrifices crawling for the looks. The classes are clearly different. These are scale trail rigs.
