Money well spent, I've done well over 100k driving on two sets of them and thought they held up very well considering the state of the roads. The first set just sort of kept on doing the job far longer than I had anticipated so when I changed car it was basically the first thing I bought for the new one.
@@ciartdsfa4899 Yeah, they just work, especially given the unpredictability of Irish roads. The parts are handy enough to get, too. I've no complaints with any BCs we have so far, so I don't mind spending on them, and I like the fact they support older cars which seems to be forgotten about by most companies

Another great nugget is the Nissan sunny b12 Coupé, it’s basically a FF ae86 from Nissan
It weighs 900kg
It can have a 1.8 v16 with 120 hp
And it’s small
I own one myself with a 1.6 12v with 90 hp, and its currently being repaired by me and my dad, I paid 500€ for it but I need to atleast spend another 500€ on repairs

@@juiceboxforyou it's been a slow burner as insurance has almost doubled so it's been off the road. Been getting various new bits painted and the Wald bumper repaired but should be back out this year 🤞

You know your blue Micra K11 and the deep dive with the other HKS K11 inspired me to look into these little cars. I was mighty surprised to see so many variants were made! The M13, the Tango, Rumba, Bolero and Polka brothers, the Nismo, the Impul March Classic neo-retro sport. Just crazy! I did a whole series on my blog and after six or seven posts I'm still far from finished to cover all of them! 😮

I always remember being 13 around 2011 or before and they're was a stigma around micras we all just hated them naturally as they where a granny car and its hard to shake thar but they do look cool done up especially a prefacelift in my opinion anyhow , cheers Neil keep up the great content as usual 🎉
Used to laugh at these as a kid for the same reason, but as I got older I realised I loved the little shape and charm of them, either a granny or a first-time starter in Ireland, whats mad is the first JDM import I ever noticed was a March on my street as a kid, which I blame as the car to send me down this rabbit hole!

Just make sure you save all the good parts off the blue march k11 , if your scrapping the shell you may aswell make some money off the jdm spec parts . I know for a fact them jdm tail lights sell for good money , bumbers ,number plate lights and the colour coded grilles will all sell to people with euro spec micras that want the jdm stuff like me .
It would be cool to see this wrapped as the green Kyoseki gtr.

God, I wish we got Micras in the US. I want one.
I've had my 1998 5dr 1 litre gx model for about a month and a half now as my first car and I absolutely love these little things. Being a 1 litre model it definitely struggles a bit on the motorway but it tries its best. At the end of the day it's just good cheap fun and they also look cute as hell :)
Btw do you have any plans to re-open the shop soon as it would be nice to get a couple of juicebox stickers for her?

where'd you get a 37k k11? cant be many around. stop calling it a pos - its a great wee car that does what it was designed for with no complaints. mine just went through its mot with not a single issue - cant say better than that after 22 years.
