    I still haven't started my build as yet, but am gonna make a start on the Part 1, but have already done issue 2 and that first section of bull, oh wow...
    am like few months behind your build in parts but am thinking though, wow it's a beautiful model, am liking this build so far to date...this model will take pride in the collection of all the other models in the collection, but the centerpiece item that takes pride of my collection is the statue of Capt. Smith himself, sculptured by Lady Kathleen Scott, and signed by the Capt's Great Nephew Don Smith...this item is the pride of the collection, but this model will take pride alongside other models in my collection

    • @JohnsModelmaking

    Hello, thank you for your work, in Spain we are going for number sixty-eight, I have them all saved but I have not yet started the assembly because the restoration of a 1/8 scale Ferrari Testarossa is finished. I have seen each and every one of your Titanic uploads and the biggest doubt I have is because the use of PVA glue for the wooden coverings responds to fixing them better over time or is it simply to make them coincide with the anchors of the components that must be placed in them, sorry for the long comment, and for my bad English. Best regards from Spain

    • @JohnsModelmaking
      @JohnsModelmaking  Месяц назад +1

      Thanks for watching. 😀 The PVA glue is to ensure that none of the wooden decking lifts and stays flat onto the plastic, all my decking is perfectly flat. And your english is fine. 👍

    Hi John, Any concerns with the gap between the white plastic decking and the metal hull? I know I asked this 25 stages ago, but curious what your thoughts are now that she is more together? Thank you.

    • @JohnsModelmaking
      @JohnsModelmaking  Месяц назад

      No concerns at all. In the 2 videos, I scan the ships' starboard side to show thie alignment.👍

    Only 4 Deliveries and the Adventure is over.
    For me every Cent (Penny) worth! Do you get a Display Case? we in Germany get it with the 33 of 35 Deliveries.

    Hi john how did u keep the bridge deck flat on the hull as mine is up each side front and back of the ship

    • @JohnsModelmaking
      @JohnsModelmaking  Месяц назад

      I explain how I did it in the video. If its just the bridge deck it maybe the metal strips.

    • @alancoleshill4300
      @alancoleshill4300 Месяц назад +2

      @JohnsModelmaking I mean when all decks are on the hull back and front are up on each side not lined flat the hull

    • @JohnsModelmaking
      @JohnsModelmaking  Месяц назад

      There are 13 screws, release the front and aft screws, make sure the prom deck is within the ribs and cables are not causing an obstruction, and I do mention all this is in my video. Good luck 👍

    Why do they have a poop deck on a boat 🤔 don't they have any toilets😂

    • @JohnsModelmaking
      @JohnsModelmaking  Месяц назад +2

      The name originates from the French word for stern, la poupe, from Latin puppis. Thus the poop deck is technically a stern deck, which in sailing ships was usually elevated as the roof of the stern or "after" cabin, also known as the "poop cabin" (or simply the poop).
