Theres such fuzzy warm feeling , everytime i gloss over my Eurorack - and spot my Divkid modules - they are among the most used , i can say for sure the OCHD is in 80 % of my patches - Yore Brand is always associated with surprizes and happy endings - i meant happy ACCIDENTS (is there really a difference !?) 🤔 My GAWD that Westcoast Angle grinder sound is RAW ! 😝 love it ! And the way you use the TRACE like an Arp is so cool,--
HARD SYNC! Great stuff as always Ben. Scanning through waveforms is so good overall. One thing I love using my scanner for is scanning through envelope/trigger sequences. Especially into an LPG where as you move between them the crossfade tends to make the crossover points have both sequences but they’re sorts of echoes of what they were as the crossfade reduces the amplitude of the strikes. Just something I think more people should know about.
Trace assembled is available from US dealers already. For DIY it's Thonk only for now, but that can work out cheaper (compared to USD prices once it's travelled across, no taxes and they ship to the US regularly).
You can certainly approach it in the same way, but Frames defines the level of each input/output per keyframe, this scans through them sequentially. You can't for example have inputs 1 and input 3 active at the same time, or a custom mix profile of all 4 ins. Think of it as 3 crossfaders in series 1-2, 2-3 & 3-4.

oh, my, another compelling system addition!
Those feedback drones with Three Body sounds massive!!!
Yeah I love that type of patching and the Three Body is great!

good idea
Great tip and I agree something more people should know about. Maybe the next Trace video is all about playful interactions with rhythms/triggers etc.

YEEESSSSSSS thanks!
Are there any plans for Trace to be available from US dealers or is Thonk the only option?

So this like a mi frames, mixing thru 4 inputs?

Do I need to rush to get it before it gets sold out? :D
I'd hate to say no and for it to have sold out before you get to it but there's no plan for it to not be available.
