The mechanics of getting an amazing parse is broken down to three things, #1 a very fast kill which means you need raid wide top tier dps going on, #2 having amazing tanks that can gen threat very well as 2nd threat tanks, #3 getting all world buffs & consumables possible. #1 is the most important because you are hoping that you get a good string of crits to start the fight off with and if it's a very fast kill then you can have all your CD's up for the entirety of the fight but also if you are the only one going all out and the rest of the dps isn't once you get off CD your damage plummets and that 99 parse is gone.

whats with crt / Cap rating on your character sheet? can you tell me about crt cap ? and how to learn about it having trouble finding info online that isnt about hit rate exclusively
if you hop in our discord we have a weakaura in the weakauras channel that calculates crit/cap for you. Basically it just means what your current crit percentage is for white hits and what your cap is (cap changes based on your gear).
it's a fair bit weaker due to poor racials, but it's not like night elf can't compete in dps (just that you won't be optimal race and the night elf racials kind of suck).
Hi! A question - when does +Weaponskill get nerfed? (I.e edgemasters/humans etc) I have a vague memory of it being nerfed in Naxx back in vanilla, but cant find anything about it.
@@naz-ghul6327 yes it replaces weapon skill in TBC. Anything that added + weapon skill changes to expertise which only reduced the dodge and parry chance of your targets.
Note at 9:47 small typo. It should say "Don't trade a backstab for 2-3 seconds of SnD uptime" Just reversed it, whoops! If you want to get S&D up from P1 end aim at a dragonkin since higher HP, pool energy first and use SS to get combo quicker

Do you have your hud/ui file downloadable anywhere? Have the addons but would save lots of trouble for that clean setup

not during classic as far as I know. I think it was later expansion
They changed it to expertise. Instead of glancing reduction? in tbc it just reduced enemies parry/dodge and its still a top prio for melee DPS.

you mean seal fate? Not really outside of rare exceptions. Combat is too strong with adrenaline rush/BF + weapon expertise.

Tulvarilx ii would say 36% crit without buff. So you don’t have to rely on world buffs to hit 40%.
