Since SDN is run by SRIDEVI NRITHYALAYA TRUST, all the productions of SDN, be it music or dance, become intellectual property of the Trust. Sridevi Nrithyalaya Trust (SDNT) owns all the productions and will not allow anyone to download or use SDN videos/audios, even it is meant to be for non-commercial purpose.
Our social media team, assisted with a legal team, watchfully works in curbing audios/videos of Sridevi Nrithyalaya that have been used in unauthorized way and uploaded in social media. Though we do not put up copyright declarations in all our videos, we strictly adhere to legal formalities and procedures regarding copyrights.
We honestly work hard and spend a good time and amount of our resources to produce our music and dance videos. They are produced and uploaded in our social platforms solely to take our art to all those raiskas around the globe who are unable to reach us in person to enjoy SDN's art live.
It is not about 'misuse' or 'trying to support' our dance and audio productions by just giving credits. Art is for all for sure. Our productions uploaded in social platforms are for the art lovers worldwide to WATCH and ENJOY but definitely not for copying or reproducing without SDNT's authorisation.
SDNT has anonymously derived to this strong conclusion. Therefore, SDN or any individual from SDN would be not to able to grant anyone permission to reproduce our work of any form.
She's really so divinely beautiful, Tanjavur temple timeless statue dancing. Her movements are meticulously controlled and way too gracious. A peacock would be jealous of this dancing. Such a pleasure to see Kameshwari's dance
Namaskaaram, namaskaaram Amma! Shiva Kameshwari Ambaal is beautiful, always with Appa Shivan, and her gaze full of love for Shiva and full of vaatsalyam for her children, the bhaktas, is melting.
Thank you Smt Kameshwari Ganeshan for embodying Ambaal so perfectly! And what a keertanam, so beautifully rendered. Both the dance and keertanam are Ambaal Herself. Watching, I felt Ambaal's kataaksham is on all bhaktas.
I've read other people commenting on the golusu. I never noticed when watching. Because Smt Kameshwari was so fully absorbed, that I a mere viewer was too. In fact, I've re-watched this many times and still never notice.
Moksha saadhanam indeed. Thanks to SDN and Ambaal's arul, the moksha is not just for SDN's nartakis, but I feel also for us bhaktas in the audience.

Every performance of Kameshweri leaves me spellbound. i had watched all her performances here on SDN channel ever since i saw her Maand ragam thillana (my favourite raagam among others like nalinakanti,abhogi etc).Superb guru-student combo too and i truly wish her that she scale even more greater heights.thx SDN for videos some of which i watched several times.
So symbolic! 🙏🏾 You broke the chains (your anklets falling off) & still trampled them with such GRACE. 😭 So thankful to stumble upon this video! 💘💘💘

Kameshwari's performances, especially her graceful movements and bhavam, are captivating and this one is no exception - it is pièce de résistance of all her performances. ❤️💕💞❣️🙏🙏🙏💖💖💖 Sri.G. Srikanth's singing and accompaniments are divine. 💖💖💖 to see Guru smiling during the performance.
One request: SDN dancers' anklets seem to fall off or cause abrasions to their feet during dancing -- please use them during rehearsals and identify & fix the issues with the anklets.
When the second anklet broke too, I completely lost it.... the first one breaking was scary enough. I truly can't imagine a world where Kameshweri's gracious feet were injured. Thank God she wasn't hurt and she carried on marvelously, delivering an exceptional performance. You are wonderful!!!! You have all my admiration!!!!

This was a scary experience for me. When the 1st anklet came off, my heart was beating pretty fast and I was praying hard that she doesn't steps on it and fall. Imagine my mental state when the 2nd anklet came off? It was scary. But moving forward, that's why she is an exponent, an expert not just in her dance & expressions, but also in managing such (mini-crisis) situations on stage. It felt like I was watching the Goddess herself performing. Majestic performance!! 👏👏👏

Breaking and then trampling upon the chains of the boddhisatva to find nirvana in the dance.
This is Vedic religion, known as Hinduism in the west, not Buddhism.
This song personifies the Vedic Devi (Goddess), Lalitha, who is the embodiment and upholder of the Vedic path. She is not a Bodhisattva.
If you were aware of the details of different forms of Buddhism including Tibetan Buddhism, you will know that any similarities with Hinduism are only superficial. They are not actually similar, nor the same, nor interchangeable. In Buddhism, some names and descriptions of several Hindu Gods were used to create new Buddhist characters, but these characters were placed low in Buddhist religious hierarchy, and often depicted very offensively to Hindus (such as Bodhisatvas attacking and, to put it mildly, *molesting* characters representing Hindu Gods and Goddesses). Such depictions would be considered devaninda by Hindus if ever acknowledged as representing our Gods, but they're not the same.
Therefore, please be respectful and recognise that our Vedic Deivams are *not* at all the same as Bodhisatvas or other Buddhist characters who are superficially based on Hindu Deivams. And when Hindus worship our Hindu Gods through Hindu means such as our Vedic dance forms like bharatanatyam, it has nothing to do with Buddhism or its Bodhisattvas. Please be aware that bharatanatyam's origins and purpose are Vedic only, not Buddhist.
Having said that, Lalitha and her worship are *not* present in Buddhism. In Buddhist studies and western institutes, Hindus' worship of Lalitha and scriptures associated with Her are described as "brahminical", which is the strange, foreign terminology the west devised to differentiate the non-Buddhist Vedic religion from Buddhism.
SDN is a Tamil Hindu institution whose Mahaguru is a great follower of Sri Vidya, an exclusively Vedic form of worship, of specifically Vedic Deivams. Smt Sheela Unnikrishnan and all Tamil Hindu worshippers of Devi follow this Vedic way. Please do not confuse Hinduism with other Indian-origin religions. The ends of Vedic religion and other Indian-origin religions like Buddhism are also very different, as Hindu acharyas and Asian Buddhist Studies have explained in detail.
Hinduism, Buddhism and other Indian religions are not new age religions for western people to mix up. Please be respectful.

I agree that she is an emerging star... But I highly doubt if artists can be competitive as each one has a different feeling towards the divine art! End of the day.. The art flourishes and the artist gets bliss from performing and the artist enjoys the performance.
Unfortunately for the silly competitions and reality shows, the term competition has come up. When it's a service and a form of prayer to god, I feel that you can't compare the divinity of something.

We seem to celebrates mediocrity and that has seeped into all the other fields like art and culture. However, it appears to me that Madam Shelia is pretty tactful and diplomatic and she does push her students towards excellence and competition. Her productions are carefully crafted and remarkable
@@HTSR1913 Excellence in so many fields, be it science or fine arts, is ultimately driven by self-motivated persons, not by external factors such as "competition". In some areas such as sports, competition may lead to excellence (that too is questionable) but in so many other areas, it simply is not the case. The statement "If there is no competition there cannot be excellence" takes the cake for being so off the mark! I won't comment further on this topic!
