These kinds of fights are so memorable! I remember doing the mannoroth fight in wow, which is like a 25-man 4 phase raid boss - and it came down to the last 2 pallies for the last like 15 or so percent and everyone just screaming support in chat as they were healing and switching off-tank - then in the last few percent one of the pallies died leaving the last one to finish it. I was so excited and on the edge of my seat seeing that kill happen! I leapt up and my chair toppled over from me being so into that fight XD But yeah will never forget that ever! Those are the gaming moments in any game that are amazing to be there to witness!
This type of stuff happened for me a lot when endwalker released and it felt so good to clutch solo the boss fights, only one I couldn’t do was zodiark cause I panicked during the stack mechanic and forgot to lb3
thought this was savage at first, which would have made this even more impressive! but even so, amazing job, that boss even in normal is tough and causes alot of wipes!
I love stuff with friends. XD Also shaking my head at all the calling the names for abilities that don't work the way they're talking about. XDDD You can use wings for yourself too. It increases your block rate. :)
Everyone is giving the paladin praise but I can't understand why. He clicks half of his abilities instead of using keybinds assigned, clemency himself over the bard lol and doesnt mitgate with sheltron. This was sheer panic and not good play xD.
I once soloed the final boss of 87 dungeon as a paladin after my whole party died from the first mechanic. It took like 20 minutes and the whole party got super angry and left, but I did it.
Quite a while back my partner (WAR) and I (PLD) were in an Emerald Weapon where everyone else died going into phase 2. We just kept going but they whined about it and made us wipe. We were so minged about it that a couple months ago we decided to do Emerald Weapon undersize min ilvl. Took us like 40 minutes but we did it! Wish we could find a group of people to support our shenanigans like you do 😂
Being dead doesn't mean they necessarily know less. If their job doesn't have any decent sustain beyond things like second wind and bloodbath, they're going to fall once the healers die, especially with a PLD that doesn't remember where clemency is. Especially once there's only one tank alive, meaning one extra person's dead guaranteed any time the dual tankbuster comes out.
as a fellow girlpaladin your teammates screaming HALLOWED GROUND HALLOWED GROUND while it was on cooldown the entire time gave me so much anxiety lmao congrats on the clutch stay winning queen 👑

Given, at one point I had to let a dps die to keep at least one of them alive but we did complete it! Healer came back when boss was at 25% or something like that lol
Reminds me of a time i duo'd p2n with another tank cause it was faster than trying to clear with the party. Got p2n in normal raid roullete with a tank friend. I was a gunbreaker and my friend was on warrior, 6 of the people with us were new so i asked if they wanted tips, but my friend pulled ahead as soon as the cutscene was over. I juggled typing advjce with doing my off tank duties but unfortunately the sprouts were dropping left and right despite my advice, mainly due to cleaving each other or getting beaned by the cataracts. We wiped 3 times and thats shwn my friend started throwing a tantrum, this boss has no positionals or tank cleaves, so he started spinning the boss in circles. Even tho this was "technically" harmless and did not effect dps(again no positionals) it annoyed the healers and melee dps. Again we proceeded to die, except this time some were blaming my friend for causing unecessary panic with spinning the boss. I stayed quiet as on one hand i agreed the spinning boss was causing unecessary panic, on the other hand i didn't want to piss off my friend. We pulled again and again, wiped, this time tho i told everyone to stop pulling and listen to my advice, but right in the middle of my explanation, my friend said f this shit and left. I was briefly torn between following him or staying behind as my duty as a good mentor. I decided that these people needed my help more and stayed. I crash coursed them on mechanics while we waited for a new tank, i even placed some markers for spread locations so they wouldn't have to run around confused. Then we got a warrior replacement and pulled. Things went well this time, there were less deaths than before, however it was at 60% hp thta things went south, as bot healers got hit by the chasing aoe. While some dps panicked and ran into the danger puddles. We were back to square 1 as we only had both tanks and 1 barely alive dps left. I decided that after multiple wipes me and the warrior could handle this instead of wiping the party again, and watching us both do mechanics will be a good learning opportunity. Unfortunately we couldn't keep the lone dps alive as we proceeded to duo the boss. I shirked my aggro to the warrior so i could offtank as i knew they had a better chance of surviving with all their healing abilities while i only had aurora. I used aurora on cooldown both to heal myself and the warriorn while the warrior healed me in turn. We were lucky the p2n boss did not have many heavy hitting attacks or tankbusters. We used limit breaks and invuln to solo some tankbusters and stacks as taking them together would just mean unecessary damage. While we slowly drained the boss of his hp the dead were flabbergasted that this was actually working, but it was taking a really long time to whittle the health as our dps wasn't exactly high(and i panic drifted my cooldowns). Some people even decided to do chores or buy groceries while they waited for us to kill the boss. Then after a grueling 30 ish minutes and 3 tank limit breaks we killed the boss. Everyone cheered and we took a group picture of the clear like it was a first savage clear or something 😗.
