I remember watching terrifier in the middle of the night all alone. I have never been so scared in my adult life. The guy who played art did a great job!

And then proceeded to see Art every time I closed my eyes and couldn’t sleep. Had to watch Metalocalypse until 5 am when my husband woke up and I felt safe haha. I don’t scare easily what so ever. The director wanted to make art different from other killers in movies and wanted him to use anything he could to kill people which is why he used the gun.

His suicide with a blank round, only to survive and reign terror again for the second movie - wouldn't have ever happened if they didn't introduce that gun. It had caught be off guard too at first, until I finished the whole movie and put it all together. Makes perfect sense.

Maybe Art was human but was/is a murderer and pledged his allegiance to the demons which in turn gave him powers. He doesn't look as distorted as the others do excluding the homeless dude which I assume could be the same deal.

The way he whips out that pistol and almost cartoonishly swings around and fires is so bad ass. It's just out of nowhere he's been using hooks, hacksaws and hammers and when he sees that his victim is actually getting the upper hand it's like a clown pulling a gun out of his sleeves or something. It was really unexpected and awesome.
I tried watching this but I simply could not. It is the most disgusting movie I have ever partly watched and one of the very few movies I quit instead of finishing it. PS: David Howard (Art the Clown) did the acting AMAZINGLY but the things happening were unbearable.

I feel as if pennywise was of some inspiration for art seeing as he has the ability to manifest as a painting film and even an alien. And pennywise isn't even his first form pennywise is really a form called the deadlights who came to colonial America and took the form of Bob gray. Bob gray was a clown named pennywise. That's how pennywise came to be. Pennywise was his favorite form.
A lot of things are scarrier than pennywise. Its part of his story that he's actually kind of a coward and a wuss seeing as how he gets defeated by children. But thats what makes him so fucked up, he goes after kids because he's actually a giant pussy.

I got a lot of my friends to watch this with me (i saw it before) and when the Art brought the hacksaw up between the legs, I couldn't hold back my laughter as all my friends were horrified.
The movie itself, I'm not terribly fond of. I'm not big on torture porn and mindless slashers. That being said, the actor playing Art is absolutely incredible. His body acting and facial expressions were incredible. Everything to do with him, the way he moved, the way he watched and seemed fascinated by Tara until he just coldly shoots her with no passion at all, it deeply unsettled me. The whole scene in the restaurant got to me. I would laugh in discomfort and feel intense dread. The character Art (really his movements and expressions) scares me far more than most horror films or characters. Fuck, he's freaky! Even if the film itself wasn't up my alley, I really have to commend the actor with his top-notch portrayal. Mostly in Terrifier. I thought his performance was by far the strongest of the two.
For those that don't get it, the point of the movie is a showcase for Art Clown. Its a fun dark comedy throwback to classic slasher movies. The plot revolves around the the girls trying to survive, and Art trying to terrify and kill them. its not the type of film for everyone, especially if you dont have a dark sense of humor. This movie is perfect for its target audience!
Art is extra scary bc when he fails with his killing toys and you’re about to escape, he just pulls out a gun and caps your ass, ensuring you’re probably gonna end up dead if you encounter him. Plus aside from his ability to come back from the dead, a lot of the stuff in Terrifier (the movie) is very possible if some serial killer maniac had zero respect for human life and actually found death and murder to be funny. Now I know not a lot of those people exist, but it could happen whereas Jason & Freddy have that safety level of fantasy around them.

Maybe Art was human but was/is a murderer and pledged his allegiance to the demons which in turn gave him powers. He doesn't look as distorted as the others do excluding the homeless dude which I assume could be the same deal.

The way he whips out that pistol and almost cartoonishly swings around and fires is so bad ass. It's just out of nowhere he's been using hooks, hacksaws and hammers and when he sees that his victim is actually getting the upper hand it's like a clown pulling a gun out of his sleeves or something. It was really unexpected and awesome.

PS: David Howard (Art the Clown) did the acting AMAZINGLY but the things happening were unbearable.

The movie sucked ass. Basically a garbage version of IT, with no storyline and mediocre acting. I do agree the actor who played Art did amazing, however everyone else was terrible. I watched the whole movie, and was probably one of the worst horror movies I ever watched.

Also, at the end of Terrifier 1 when the medical examiner is in the room with Art and the lights start flickering you can hear the voices of all his victims coming through a speaker. It's like all of their ghosts were there and Art uses their spirits to reanimate.

the terrifier honestly isn't bad. my dad's really picky with movies and he loves the terrifier. I've never seen all hollow's eve, so i can't speak on it.
All hallows Eve with so little plot just comes across as a thin excuse for a vehicle to film some rapey torture porn. Its overtly misogynistic and just fucking awful to watch. I'd be genuinely worried to spend time in company with anyone who is has watched it and enjoyed it.

And pennywise isn't even his first form pennywise is really a form called the deadlights who came to colonial America and took the form of Bob gray. Bob gray was a clown named pennywise. That's how pennywise came to be. Pennywise was his favorite form.

The movie itself, I'm not terribly fond of. I'm not big on torture porn and mindless slashers. That being said, the actor playing Art is absolutely incredible. His body acting and facial expressions were incredible. Everything to do with him, the way he moved, the way he watched and seemed fascinated by Tara until he just coldly shoots her with no passion at all, it deeply unsettled me. The whole scene in the restaurant got to me. I would laugh in discomfort and feel intense dread. The character Art (really his movements and expressions) scares me far more than most horror films or characters. Fuck, he's freaky! Even if the film itself wasn't up my alley, I really have to commend the actor with his top-notch portrayal. Mostly in Terrifier. I thought his performance was by far the strongest of the two.

For those that don't get it, the point of the movie is a showcase for Art Clown. Its a fun dark comedy throwback to classic slasher movies. The plot revolves around the the girls trying to survive, and Art trying to terrify and kill them. its not the type of film for everyone, especially if you dont have a dark sense of humor. This movie is perfect for its target audience!
Art is extra scary bc when he fails with his killing toys and you’re about to escape, he just pulls out a gun and caps your ass, ensuring you’re probably gonna end up dead if you encounter him. Plus aside from his ability to come back from the dead, a lot of the stuff in Terrifier (the movie) is very possible if some serial killer maniac had zero respect for human life and actually found death and murder to be funny. Now I know not a lot of those people exist, but it could happen whereas Jason & Freddy have that safety level of fantasy around them.
david howard thornton is one of the coolest guys, he is such a genuine person and just amazing overall

This movie was nuts! Terrifier didn't need a true plot or story. The film plays on the craziness and randomness of Art the Clown. Life doesn't make sense all the time thus cue Art the Clown! Good video Foundfix!
