I never find Brian eno dull or boring, he's absolutely fascinating. I love the way he describes things, in my opinion he's the prime minister of art and music. I just wish I'd had a teacher like him at art school, mine was backward. Brilliant lecture.

How much ever he can talk, and 88million lalalas... How many people does he help actually? Just like the British Council.. What are these guys doing, other than spreading old heckled ideas and moralities in foreign lands? They been doing this rubbish in India for decades, without making an iota of difference.. be it art, or theater or women's empowerment or what-have-you...

Cool. I feel like I’m back in Music Lecture Class again. Wasn’t familiar with his music. Listened to his stuff from mid to late 70’s. Good stuff. I can hear the Riley and Steve Reich influences on his works.

Yes. I think that sometimes that word is given too easily to artists but Brian Eno is someone I would agree is deserving.

How could Eno spout in one or few sentences and single gasp of air and link anarchism, Darwin and a lecture others provided through the British Council?

Hi Audio Pervert. Brian Eno makes a great difference in my life, and if you read the comments on any of his albums here on RUclips you'll find he brings joy and hope and inspiration and thought to many, many people. For art that's about as good as it gets. Hope this helps!
(I think your post has an anti-imperialist angle to it so I shouldn't be so snarky, because I am also anti-imperialist and am very open to critiques of the British Council etc. I just don't think Brian Eno is part of the problem really. Best.)
