STREGA talent also works on skill build, for example your turret is shooting and you just equip weapon, and yes you are right, moment your skill kill target, talent icon will spread as you would do it normally by shooting weapon yourself
You can even swap guns and it will benefit from any marks up. Doesn't buff thr actual skill damage however but I'm sure they will get around to patching it - like BLB and OD buffing skills.
On the Striker build, I’d probably test the Eagle’s Grasp gloves for the extra handling and mag size, and equip a Striker holster for the 4 piece. With such a small mag, it’ll be tough maintaining the stacks
Ive been playing around with Centurion + Heartbreaker builds, might try the Strega with it later - FYI you can make up for the lack of Laser Link pointer by running the Night watch named Gila Guard mask (100% scanner pulse haste) - The RoF increase is nuts on some exotics with max HB stacks, insane survivability and damage for the hostile modifiers stuff
@RogueGold try your Negotiators setup with the new exotic holster. That second buff from the holster boosts the mag to 60 and you can refresh the buff and reload the mag by weapon swapping. It has been very effective for me so far.
Lots of great options with this gun. I personally run Memento with Strikers and a Ceska chest with Obliterate, simply because your stacks decay so much faster with the chest if you're not hitting all the time, and because the Memento gives you that extra survivability. But it's a fantastic gun. Just need to find more for my other characters now!! Thanks for the wrap up.
I've been taking building around this weapon seriously using the Strega with - Three pieces of the new Brand set, one piece Walker Harris, one piece Fenris (all red, max wpn dmg, chc and chd) with the talents Obliterate on chest and Unstoppable Force on backpack plus Catharsis exotic mask then lightweight M4 with Lucky Shot and weapon handling mods as secondary and Kard custom sidearm on gunner specialisation. Then having fun not being serious about a build which is the four pieces of True Patriot and the new exotic holster with Eagles Grasp to turn my Strega into a base 63 round beast with more added through the holster talent.
For your second build since you have the healing and armor repair of Hunters Fury, you CAN throw on the Sacrifice for your chestpiece. All the Amplified damage modifiers stacking on each other and the fact that you can heal by getting kills thanks to Hunters Fury allows you to be a bit bolder. Still do Cover to cover to keep yourself from popping but your damage skyrockets SO HARD.
Unironically, the most fun I've had with the Strega is running the new Centurion's Scabbard with Ongoing Directive set (with the chest piece) and a Ceska backpack with Bloodsucker. Amplified damage, a pick between more dmg and fire rate or larger magazine size, and bonus armor on kill. I have been experimenting on if I want more red or blue cores, but either way the new season has been fun
The damage appears to be in the middle of the road around 650k. I used the chamelean with the 4 strker with coyote mask, with fenris obliterate. Was getting 950k to 1.3 mil damage.
@floridaprepper751 No.. that is not right. Watch the video. He doesn't charge or stack his Striker, and doesn't have a High End chest Talent, so higher damage numbers are not immediate (much like the Chameleon). And you are not comparing apples to apples. Obviously it would hit harder with that build too.. However, even without Striker stacks, it hits incredibly hard with the amp damage from Unnerve Talent (enemy marks on kill), just as @hufinnpuff3068 said. There is a clear example of this at about 8:10 as he finishes clearing the control point. He doesn't even have *half* Striker stacks, yet he's critting between 1.3mil & 1.8mil at 2 & 4 kill stacks, respectively. The Chameleon would not perform any better. This gun would hit a lot harder off the bat with the build mentioned above, and with a straight HE DPS build, but Striker's strengths lie in the stacks and ROF buffs. And this is coming from someone who is not a huge fan of the gun. *Edit: I don't know how to tag people, or it's not working.. I dunno ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I started using the new gear set with two piece brazos with the holster and mask along with ninja bike and it’s hitting about the same as negotiators but with 67 rounds in the Stregas small magazine and compared to hunters being shotgun and smg based virtuoso is ar rife and smg based all at range offering bonus armor and with the chest piece offering up to 40% extra damage on the ar and 80% on the smg especially with dark winter how my build sits now 1.3M armor 2 skill tiers 4 reds and 3 blues offers an all around build with great damage potential
Rogue I truly enjoy your videos…I used multiple build templates of yours and love how when I watch one of your videos it sparks my imagination and creativity for build theory In the division 2! Thank you for being such an awesome ambassador for the game I truly love and have played since day 1!
I’ve been playing around with five builds with the new ar and have been finding the best damage and the most mag capacity I found a red true patriot and two Brazo gives the most mag capacity and a three piece prov deference with one groupo and two improvised gear pieces work with the highest crit damage at 240% and 54 crit chance
I been playing around with striker + monento + obliterate fenris chest. I can’t remember how many blue cores I have on the build but I think it’s 2 or 3 and it still hits for around 900k-1.1m crit on average
For the strikers i personally wouldn't use the chest because its going to be hard to get and mantain max stacks in open would and in most missions. Obliterate is what i would recommend.
Hey Rogue enjoy your videos a lot. I've gotten ND build and Strikers build still playing around with some suggestions i've seen. One build that i've been using that I didn't see in any comments is Umbra. Running coyote, 4 piece umbra, and fox's prayer. I running all red hits really hard. Extremely squishy however might add a blue core or 2 but a couple secs in cover and everything right as rain.
I appreciate the info on this build. On another matter because you might actually be able to get something done. I'm getting one shotted, down to a sliver of armor, behind 1.4 million armor and a level 6 shield by purple enemy turrets. Frankly, all of the damage seems way up. Also are we going to get shocked every single encounter now? I pass this along to you because the devs might care what you think.
Those two things you're describing sound like interactions with the new Modifier system, specifically the Hostile Modifiers. "Requital" makes it so that shooting enemies who have that effect within the medium range reflects the damage back at you (which would go through the shield). "Master of None" gives enemies shock ammo when they're at long range from you. If you want more info on the system and how to disable it if you'd like, I just put out a guide on it 👉 ruclips.net/video/hdpBQp6rkxI/видео.htmlsi=bjGxNzMNqlX9zXoQ
Hi Rogue - for the 2nd and 1st builds - when you mentioned running crits for the attributes/mods - which do you go with? Crit chance or crit damage? And do you usually go with the armor attribute as the primary or select weapon damage on the gear pieces uniformly? Right now I'm running a 4 piece striker (pack, chest, gloves, kneepads) with coyotes mask and a ceska holster but looking to diversify the build set.
Individual mods/attribute choices will be slightly different for everyone, as no rolls are exclusive to certain slots, it's just about getting the right amount of crit chance/damage across your entire build to reach the desired distribution within your Stats readout. So for Build 1 I have 50% chance and all the rest into damage, Build 2 around 35% chance and the rest into damage 👍 Distribution of damage/armor rolls is totally up to you, I went with: Build 1: 4 damage, 2 armor Build 2: 4 damage, 3 armor (Memento grants extra core attributes) Build 3: 6 damage, 0 armor
There’s no reason for a nerf on this gun. It feels pretty balanced at heroic. At normal and challenging it does wreck. I like the feel. It’s one of my favorite guns so far. I hope they leave it alone.
Meanwhile i made a swap build with the new exotic holster with the swap thingy, and using all the new swap gear (not the teal one), and its really fun, maybe not as amazing as any other build shown, yet i had good fun.
Id be happy with base 5+ rounds. Tried negotiators and it feels underwhelming and shoots slower. With strikers shoots at a decent rate and quicker T2K. Tried it with my targ stryker build and it really missed the mark without obliterate. Will give the holster a shot but gotta figure out a good helmet to pair with chest.
Striker's with ninja backpack and picarro's plus same set chest to get the +50% mag. The striker's backpack would be good, but the chest in open world is just useless. So better to use either of the great exotic backpacks.
It's weird, I picked up 2 Stregas and 1 Chameleon in 1 Countdown run right after the update went live, while completing a priority obj. I was only level 23 in the season pass too. So it's in the general loot pool.
On my striker I’m running strig in my 2nd slot the apartment in the 1st slot to boost crit chance and damage on strig with the centurions scabbard it slaps
Varies for all 3, on every setup I'm just aiming to get close to 60% chance, and as much damage as I can get on top of that (save for Negotiator's where you can keep your crit chance around 50 due to Coyote's talent)
Why run a 4-piece hunters fury when you're rocking a ninja bike backpack? Wouldn't a 3-piece and an extra high-end named item like fox, picaros, or contractor's help with the build?
Have not tried it in there yet. But on-kill talents typically aren't quite as good in PVP, and given the Strega's lower mag size, I wonder if it might struggle to compete with other AR options. But I'll be sure to give it a go, certainly if you start spreading the marks around it could get good fast!
playing on pc from Steam and i cant play more than 15 min before the game crashes. is there a fix for it? i tried many things i read online but it didnt help. i unistalled the game. i was looking forward to getting back into it after a couple years but i'm not gonna bother if i have to set a timer to restart the game. love your video too.
Hey there! From what I've heard, there's some cases on PC of frequent Deltas. I'm afraid I'm not aware of an immediate fix, but the Devs have said that they've identified the problem and are looking into it 👉 x.com/Daria_General/status/1851638927506968831
Fun Fact. Strega isn't the only new weapon that came out that affects skill builds. BUT I am getting tired of everything new coming out that requires one of two things. Or both. Something that requires Stacks for an effect to trigger. AND things that require you to kill a target before an effect is triggered. I think the devs need to forget the word "Stacks" and become innovative with something, ANYTHING else. We have enough get stacks do thing weapons or gear pieces.
Theirs a bug i think right now but it may have been patched. I forget which mission but you do one on the progress thingy and it boosted me all the way to 78. No lie! Didnt spend a dime. It may still be like that. Either grand Washington or air and space museum. I did it on heroic with a sniper determined build solo.
@Noneoftheabove783 I had the bug occur where your pass jumps significantly in levels, went from 1-100 in one go. It happened to me live on stream if you want to see it happen 👉 ruclips.net/user/liveX4mh6_BcKsk?si=tTQo3erykAE688i0&t=2698
It's a visual bug. The store will say you can re-buy certain items, but you still own them. The ones in question has been moved to a new category within your Apparel menu, scroll down below where Backpack Trophies/Shoes are and you should see them there 👍
Coyote's Mask Exotic, Fenris chestpiece w/ Obliterate talent, 4x Negotiator's Dilemma for the rest. 4 Weapon Damage cores, 2 Armor cores. Crit chance/damage across every attribute/mod, I'm aiming for a total distribution of 50% chance (the Coyote's talent makes up for the rest), and everything else into damage
As stated, it's just a template :) For Open World stuff specifically, no you likely won't hit 200 often. But in certain Game Modes/Missions it could be much more relevant
Ninja, three hunters, 1 providence and 1 fenris woild be good. Personally i dont buy the hype. Id rather just have spotter/vigi or companion on a regular FAL
I don't plan on having Modifiers on for any build video (save for dedicated Seasonal/Modifier builds), as they would inflate the damage/stats of the build itself, and make the video less relevant once a Season ends and those Modifiers go away
meh, i'll get it eventually. seasons 2.0 is basically the same as before apart from the modifiers. i did the scout activities in about 10 minutes, logged out and I wont be back until next week. Imagine how much better this would have been with seasonal characters, the way it was supposed to be played. It would have been awesome reliving that original play through again with your group, grinding up to those scout activities instead of just fast traveling there and doing the same old stuff.
How big does a assault rifle have to be looks like a prehistoric dinosaur assault rifle lol 😆 I m glad I got the eagle bearer now that an assault rifle 👍
STREGA talent also works on skill build, for example your turret is shooting and you just equip weapon, and yes you are right, moment your skill kill target, talent icon will spread as you would do it normally by shooting weapon yourself
Sure it's not from the modifier that effects the turret?

On the Striker build, I’d probably test the Eagle’s Grasp gloves for the extra handling and mag size, and equip a Striker holster for the 4 piece. With such a small mag, it’ll be tough maintaining the stacks

if u r not interested to lvl up season pass to get the weapon, just go into countdown ( set the loot to ar). same for the new holster
Thats what I did. However, you can't get the blueprint to re roll it until you unlock it in season pass
Helpful thanks my season pass is going up super slow I literally played all day yesterday barley moved
@RogueGold try your Negotiators setup with the new exotic holster. That second buff from the holster boosts the mag to 60 and you can refresh the buff and reload the mag by weapon swapping. It has been very effective for me so far.
Not the biggest swap fan- but I'll certainly give it a go!
@RogueGold. Try with Ongoing Directive. Monster
I've been doing this setup too

It's a visual bug. The store will say you can re-buy certain items, but you still own them. The ones in question has been moved to a new category within your Apparel menu, scroll down below where Backpack Trophies/Shoes are and you should see them there 👍
@RogueGold found them thanks
so when you say "crit attributes all the way" you place no crit chance attributes?????
By that I meant crit chance and damage across all of the pieces to reach the desired distribution 👍 Apologies for not clarifying in the video
No one talking about the Strega anymore. RPMs are to low I think.
loving this update so far. All those people crying this is what you all wanted lol.
Can someone type me the set up for the first build it seems my brain isnt braining
You am become Stregasaurus, destroyer of battlefields!
Strega-sore-ass, Ripper of New Ones?
Are you really getting 200 stacks on Heroic in the open world with Striker?
As stated, it's just a template :) For Open World stuff specifically, no you likely won't hit 200 often. But in certain Game Modes/Missions it could be much more relevant
Yessuh
Ninja, three hunters, 1 providence and 1 fenris woild be good.
Personally i dont buy the hype.
Id rather just have spotter/vigi or companion on a regular FAL
So much fun and hype to be nerfed soon enough.
not bad.
Use with skill build👌
its "PISH" !!
0:43 Look at his armor, that's how "good" it is.
jus give us division 3 already 😂😂😂
Looks like you're also annoyed by the modifiers as you didn't turned them on for this video 😅
I don't plan on having Modifiers on for any build video (save for dedicated Seasonal/Modifier builds), as they would inflate the damage/stats of the build itself, and make the video less relevant once a Season ends and those Modifiers go away
Yeah and u just lost it on my hard-core agent 😢😢
Ugh im just so tired of what lacking content there is. The seasonal grind switch up is nice but fuck, we need new stuff desperately
meh, i'll get it eventually. seasons 2.0 is basically the same as before apart from the modifiers. i did the scout activities in about 10 minutes, logged out and I wont be back until next week. Imagine how much better this would have been with seasonal characters, the way it was supposed to be played. It would have been awesome reliving that original play through again with your group, grinding up to those scout activities instead of just fast traveling there and doing the same old stuff.
Copium. It would have sucked just as much as it does now, but just at lower level and difficulty.
I refuse to carry a weapon with a piece of cloth covering it, it makes it butt ugly.
How big does a assault rifle have to be looks like a prehistoric dinosaur assault rifle lol 😆 I m glad I got the eagle bearer now that an assault rifle 👍
That's because the FAL irl isn't an assault rifle - it's a *battle rifle* .
No DZ/PvP builds? Lolz
All the mods on it need a buff
No it doesn't. You're just spoiled by Elmos
No it doesnt wtff?! It has one of the strongest talents.. Buffing mods would make it too strong.
st elmo is far better. Absolutely no reason to use it if you want to maximise damage.
