So, this seems unclear - ‘mount the outlet tube to the skimmer body as shown’ - so the Tee is at the top open to the air? Every picture I see of this assembled elsewhere shows the 90 elbow down and the Tee under water. I am just curious if it makes any difference as, like others had said, I definitely get bubbles either way.

Wait “several minutes”? Like 5 minutes, 10 minutes or 30 minutes? I can’t seem to get my skimmer to stop shooting out bubbles priming the pump
