I love that NPCs eat stuff. I set up the Lucky 38 Table full of shit. Go out and explore, come back. See the table empty and feel better knowing my team ate
Yep, that's how I accidentally poisoned a "librarian" in oblivion. I dropped a poison apple because I didn't want to eat it, and it was taking up space in my inventory. I came back later, and she was lying dead on the floor where the apple was.
I used a mod that made bittercup follow me and I made her wait at my megaton home. I was a cannibal so I filled my fridge with nothing but strange meat and whiskey. Every time I enter the house I see her eating and drinking out of my fridge and the supply actually lowers.
I don’t think she’s eating them. I think they’re getting sent to the chefs and/or sent for experiments. But that’s funny that she just casually takes them and probably just holds onto them in her inventory😂
How to steal in Fallout: 1. Recon the room 2. Pick up the item you want to steal and drop it in a corner where no NPCs can see you. 3. Crouch to make sure no NPCs can actually see you 4. Repeat step 2 for any additional items 5. Steal.
I can't remember which exact vegetable but if you pick up one of them another exact one will immediately be in it's place. Meaning that someone accidentally placed two in each other during development. Yes this is probably quite a useless fact but now you know
I wonder about a few ways on taking the vegetables without ever getting caught. I just take everything in sight and run in Fallout 3, but I never really got to Rivet City at all because I never finished the game, so I’m not sure if that method would work there.
Just pick them up ( if its on a console its right bumper.. And I think on PC its the X or Z or C button) and move them to a dark corner of the room and crouch. If you are hidden you can press the E ( pc) or action button on console and put them in your inventory
@@SittingChungus I first played Fallout 3 for a few months, but I wasn’t following the main storyline because I immediately forgot about it when I exited the vault😅. I was just shooting random merchants and destroyed Megaton and even got to the max level (without DLC) by using the Megaton XP glitch with scrap metal before destroying Megaton. I collected ears more than I played the actual storyline💀. I eventually got bored of the game and forgot the main story questline, but now that it’s mentioned again, I might play Fallout 3 more often and perhaps get to Rivet City soon.
oh i think i know what's going on a while ago jsawyer explained that new vegas and fallout 3 uses the template from morrowind so sometimes npc would get hungry and find food i'm guessing she wasn't supposed to eat them but days gone by then y'know, she had no choice
Just add them to your inventory with console commands, it's effectively duplicates without the need to steal. It's not like it has a high value aside from PERSONAL VALUE in game anyway.
On playstation you can take them without stealing them and a duplicate that has to be stolen will either spawn in its place or was already there overlapped by the free ones 😂
Specific memories of stealing all of these as a child immediately after noticing they were fresh, just head to the corner in the back room, its always empty
See the cool thingsd about bethesda games, why every gamer should try whichever to his preference once, is it's a world. You don't know if she stole it or was the test subject. That's why they're so cool. It's a world where you CAN, except those multiple item fetch quests, solve all your problems eventually.
Ill stick with my over stacked radaway that i always keep and eat & drink whatever i wish she looks like a nice npc who might give me a side quest & Caps at the end of it :3
I took em all😂 No word or anything. I nabbed em the second I saw em regardless of the negative karma. I did however have very good karma otherwise cuz Fallout3 is my favorite
It took me a while to realize that in New Vegas these are far more common. Lore wise im assuming that’s due to how much more agriculture is shown in the game
Its worth saying that fallout 3 was ok, new vegas was horrible *but fallout 4 was close to perfect, only flaw was survival mode not using ammunition based damage stats*
Like vault 81 in fallout 4 it’s a shame you can’t cook anything/buffs with fresh vegetables.
Yeah, i always felt sad that you couldn't actually plant rad free things that were more useful in game
@@Ricardo_Rickthe food processor you can build in 4 lets you build prewar versions of different junk food.
They give you more health and have no rads
I didn’t understand that either

One thing's for sure. Play enough of the main quest and she'll stop eating the produce for good.
😂
She will also stop breathing
Except you can find her at Raven Rock when the Lone Wanderer escapes

@SixshotRevan I need to replay fallout 3 is what I'm reading....
I didn't know npcs in fallout 3 ate things like in oblivion
It’s the same engine so probably a leftover
They not only eat but also drink. One of Dave’s wives drank the Quantum in his office before I could steal it
Oblivion with guns
Fallout 3 is literally Oblivion reskinned lmao

I asked dog meat to find me some food and he took the veggies right in front of the scientist without us getting in trouble
All of them?
@hizzy808 they were talking right there in the middle of the lab. I asked for food a few more times and he gave me more fresh vegetables.
I’m going to try this, sounds very interesting. Thanks for letting me know!
good dog
I always wondered why one potato was okay to take but the rest are marked owned 🤔
One potato per kid
Hope you cooked it.

You always give a potato if asked: old potato growers axiom
Ill take a potato chip! AND EAT IT!!
"Dont touch them, they're fragile" (proceeds to eat them quickly)
@ranger_eclipse the awkward side eye to cap it off nicely
Reminds me of the full plate of peas
I remember as a kid i just collected these, brought them to my bunker and used them as decorative pieces

You can take them with the console command Setownership.
You just carry them one by one behind a wall and then take ’em? No rocket science…
Had no idea they were in 3, always thought that it was only in NV
I can see why the BOS considers potatoes extinct, some scientist ate them all.
