Sounds killer. I’ve been looking at the new Krakenheart for over a week, deciding whether to get one. It has some cool features, while also having the expression abilty, although I haven’t seen a demo of anyone using one. I haven’t had much luck, with Vibes, that aren’t the real deal expression pedal units, like Sabbadius, Argenziano and other more vintage style units use. This one is affordable enough, with the ramping feature, to risk it, as I already have an expression like they recommend. You have that Maui Hey Baby intro, down nice. Love his Uni Vibe tones from that show. I had the Anlogman NKT275, and one other, that I don’t think was a good chip, but I sold them for far more than they were worth, because I still like the Dunlop JHF1, I got back in 2008ish, unless I need a smaller board for a gig. I was actually running two Uni Vibes at one point, one pre Fuzz Face, one after, to be able to get both sounds. I like it both ways. Mind if I ask what your signal was? I’m just getting into recording to my own computer, and doing videos. I have an amp that has an out, that has a cab sim, so I know it will work, but I’m trying to get as much information on how others do it. Thanks.
Yeahh, I'm big Hendrix fan! I have here the Krakenheart V1 and V2, you can check the shotout on my channel. The new Krakenheart V2 ramp it's amazing, and you can set the ramp velocity on a external trimpot, it's a great feature! About the exp, I don't have a exp pedal here to test, but my friend Ceme Marum from The Pedal Quest BR, Pedro Bernadi, Pedais e Efeitos and Lucas Bittencourt recorded a Krakenheart demo on the respectives RUclips channels.
I recorded this with a simple gear: Telecaster - cable - Fuzz Face - Krakenheart (for the demo i started with Krakenheart first going to Fuzz Face, but I prefer all my Fuzz first and Vibe after) - M-Wave Cuvave (cheap preamp and IR loader, I use something like a Plexi pre and a Celestion Greenback IR).
