- One of the most extravagant mansions I’ve ever seen! Place was beautiful. I just don’t understand how such an amazing place can be abandoned.

@@ScrappleEgg I read both comments, which is why I said what I said. Yes, some of the fans, who may have helped pay for the mansion by buying her music, could very well be living on the streets. It’s sad that this place has gone to waste but it’s no longer hers, which means she’s not responsible for its current condition or what it’s used for.

That place is massive, creepy & cold. Doesn't have a warm inviting feeling at all. Looks like it should have been a place for many, rather than just a place for someone filthy rich.
I guess you don't know about homeless shelters. Multiple families or strangers occupying on place never ends well. If each room had separate exits that all lead outside like an apartment then yes. Not a mansion. Some people are unhelpable in that regard.

All of these videos are evidence of what's wrong with the US. We are so wasteful that we would rather a mansion be abandoned & crumble to pieces over decades than allow it to be used to house families, the homeless, veterans, or anyone who needs help. It's sickening that we despise other humans so much because we think bad things only happen to bad people.
This is an older mansion I’m sure Taylor swift had nothing to do with this place lol this has to be atleast the third abandoned mansion that was hers smh

This place is gorgeous! I absolutely love the "library"!! It says that this was Taylor Swifts old home. Do you ever wonder why some rich people don't try to sell these homes?
Probably cause nobody can pay for it. Or sees the worth of this type of big mansion. Just like now days when famous people try sell their places... nobody buys it and it goes for years till maybe someone buys it or they just drop the house and let it "die".

It's not. This mansion is in Ohio and was never owned by her.
The cabinets on either side of the peep hole door look like pipe chambers for a pipe organ. The room they were in may have been a small sanctuary for very special occasions. The whole place gives me a religious vibe, like maybe it was built for a bishop or other religious leader.

A gross, obscene waste of millions of dollars. I would love to know why Taylor Swift‘s parents did not move into this place. This money could have been better spent feeding the homeless population, or letting them reside here. Like what is wrong with people? Just cause you have a ridiculous amount of money doesn’t mean you can just waste it and throw it away. And now you’ve created an eyesore because no one is going to want to live here. You should have to continuously pay fines for creating such a monstrosity that no one wants to inhabit.

It looks like an abandoned set for The Conjuring. I genuinely felt a strange and very uncomfortable vibe watching this. I don't see any beauty in it at all, it looks so poorly, even in its prime splendor and status, I feel it would still be a creepy looking space. I got chills when you explored that dark subfloor level. A large estate but it seems more quantity than quality.
