Trunks has 50% ATK and DEF stacking with the potential of 4 supers post transformation. Combine that with his stats and he's stacking very fast. And sword of hope mode is basically a delete button
This guy is probably the most nostalgic card for me. Used him so much that that second form super attack is basically drilled into my head at this point. Cant believe hes finally got an eza now it felt like just yesterday.
for me too, when it came out on the global I found two in a multi and I did all the events with it, unfortunately that today it is not good in the first rounds
I was just about to comment the same thing this unit is probably one of the most special ezas in awhile for me I pulled him first multi back in the day when he dropped on global he was valuable for a really long time especially since that's when we first started to get long events that wasn't like boss rush
was a little worried about the performance after seeing his EZA on paper, i'm actually shocked at how well he performs for just being raw stats. he builds up really fast for defense but i think his best value comes from his active skill nuke, very happy with how he and the rest of the EZA batch turned out.
you're right but the difference is one is an anniversary lr they wanted people to summon for (and have dropped down the tierlist rapidly in 5 months), and the other is a TEQ EZA DFE that most people have multiple copies of; holding trunks to the correct standards seems more fair @@bruhh489

He might start a little to slow for some of the red zone fights, but anything longer than 6+ turns he is a killer. The active is actually an auto win button.
Not related to my point at all. Gohan is as good as he is because of his def stacking + guard combo. Trunks is just stacking. Zamasu is closer to Gohan in that sense than Trunks is. The point of what I said was that Trunks isn't "just like" TEQ Ultimate but "drastically improved," and Zamasu would be closer to that description than Trunks is. @@luislazotheoof
I love Trunks unlike Zamasu so I'm really happy about his insane EZA. Also one of my favourite Dokkanfest's ever released with Beerus and Boujack. I had so much fun with this unit and he helped me clearing tons of events. Almost no other unit did that. Oh I forgot INT Gotenks is also one of my favs due to same reason =)
I loved this card back in the day for the Goku event despite it being TEQ. Happy the EZA was much better than I thought it would be. That actually gives me a lot of hope for INT Goku Black EZA when it finally happens, given it's already a +50% def stacker.
Back in th LGE days my close friend had a saying when you couldn't beat a hard event. "When in doubt, Trunks it out." 😂 This Trunks was THE cheese strat for LGE.

I like what they did what they did with this unit but even though Zamasu is definitely better, new players will be able to make good use of his all super class leader skill raising his value a bit IMO.

And he should have gotten at least a great chance to perform a super attack instead of staying at high chance. I mean Gogeta got a great chance to dodge from a high chance. Gogeta can tank normals pretty well after supering since he gets a greatly stack for 3 turns (and the dodge) meanwhile broly can't even tank cell max normals without doing four supers which are dependant on his hipo system. They gave my boi nothing but mediocre stats and no utility. Didn't even get BBB link but bErSeRkEr instead smh...Only hope is a lr Broly that supports extreme class saiyans tremendously. I could go on with ideas for phy broly (even commented on his showcase video which were accepted by a lot of people reading) and a potential Lr Broly...you can see that I am very frustrated 🥲

he needs to stack a lot in order to surpass zamasus 50% dr. The issue now is his reliance on sa rng aswell as luck in enemies attack placement.I think he will be good in the omega event but rz cell/goku black are to much for him

He doesn't have that 50% DR of course, but Trunks stacks a lot faster than Zamasu and has much less restriction team wise, he's a better choice in longer battles due to his Spirit Sword Form being an insane Nuker that surpasses AGL Corrupted Zamasu easily. Once he get's going Trunks certainly doesn't fall far behind, maybe saying he's better than Zamasu is an overexaggeration in most scenarios. Also nice Goku Black pic.

the greatly raising def for 3 turns means that they go over for the first transformed turn. So the real only 1 turn where youre gonna need to be a bit scared is his turn 1, because on turn 3 hes already at 500k ready to do quad supers. 😂 love this unit glad hes crazy

Zamasu is definitly better,but once you get a couple of stacks in and you combo SOH with Bulma's active this guy is illegaly good. Nothing touches him and nothing survives his wrath. Yeah he is busted

The first 2-3 turns that he is on rotation he is gonna be on fraud alert, but if you get lucky with super attacks he will be looking pretty decent. The fact that it takes him 8 turns to be good and that's if ur lucky is kinda suspect to me
I imagine he'll have the same problem as TUR str cooler or Phy Turles where if you aren't lucky with additional supers, you can get absolutely fucked. I do wish they had given him 1 or 2 guaranteed supers if he was with a future ally or something.

he needs to stack a lot in order to surpass zamasus 50% dr. The issue now is his reliance on sa rng aswell as luck in enemies attack placement.I think he will be good in the omega event but rz cell/goku black are to much for him

He doesn't have that 50% DR of course, but Trunks stacks a lot faster than Zamasu and has much less restriction team wise, he's a better choice in longer battles due to his Spirit Sword Form being an insane Nuker that surpasses AGL Corrupted Zamasu easily.
Once he get's going Trunks certainly doesn't fall far behind, maybe saying he's better than Zamasu is an overexaggeration in most scenarios.

the greatly raising def for 3 turns means that they go over for the first transformed turn. So the real only 1 turn where youre gonna need to be a bit scared is his turn 1, because on turn 3 hes already at 500k ready to do quad supers. 😂 love this unit glad hes crazy
Glad they did both these EZAs justice. Juiced AGL Zamasu a bit more imo but Trunks is still great and Sword of Hope is Badass.
Honestly he makes the 'lr' 'super saiyan' blue goku and vegeta look even worse than before lmao. Hits harder, tanks as well/better, more utility and versatility.

Just going off of the first fight here, Zamasu is clearly the better eza. It’s not even close. Truth was right when he said this guy could’ve had guard in his kit at some point. Still think he’s looking pretty good though.
Unless you give him permanent guard it wouldn’t change much and if they did they wouldn’t have given him so many adds or greatly raise
Zamasu is definitly better,but once you get a couple of stacks in and you combo SOH with Bulma's active this guy is illegaly good. Nothing touches him and nothing survives his wrath. Yeah he is busted

The first 2-3 turns that he is on rotation he is gonna be on fraud alert, but if you get lucky with super attacks he will be looking pretty decent. The fact that it takes him 8 turns to be good and that's if ur lucky is kinda suspect to me
He doesn’t need 8 turns. You really only care about him taking normals. There are tons of options on his team for taking supers
I imagine he'll have the same problem as TUR str cooler or Phy Turles where if you aren't lucky with additional supers, you can get absolutely fucked.
I do wish they had given him 1 or 2 guaranteed supers if he was with a future ally or something.
