I used to proudly whip out my iPhone 7 Plus and Samsung Galaxy Note 10. They stopped getting updates, so I switched to the Galaxy S23+. Only time I'll change is when it breaks, or stops support
Ima still keep rocking Samsung. Been running Samsungs since 2015. What sold me on them was when my sister gave me her S6 Edge+ for my 16th birthday in 2016, and I loved it so much. The only thing that sucked was that she ran down the battery pretty bad. So when I got it, I had to buy a portable charger to constantly charge it. Nowadays I still have the phone. However, the battery has gotten extremely bad. It will not stay on for no longer than 30 minutes. I also have all the other Samsung phones I've owned in the past too. They all have much better batteries the the S6. Especially my current phone the Samsung Galaxy A54 5G. This phone was about 400 bucks and it has been worth every penny. It's been single handedly the best phone I've owned since my S6 Edge Plus, except the battery life on this phone is phenomenal. If anyone is die hard Samsung fans like me but don't wanna spend a grand. Get either the A54, A55 or the S24 FE. Any of these 3 phones are wonderful for the value.
I remember having the iPhone 5c when I was a kid as a hand me down from my step mom, the iPhone 6 Plus before and after high school until I graduated, and bought the iPhone XR with my graduation money, got the iPhone 13 mini as an early birthday present from my mom in 2022, and lastly I got the iPhone 15 Pro Max in November last year.
