The remains of the said Fort is still in our place in Salunayan. The first battle of Datù Ali was in Fort Salunayan (misprounced into Serenaya) . The second was in Malala Buluan (Durian) where he defeated and killed on Oct. 22, 1905. Source: Prof. Norodin C. Ali, great grandson of Datù Ali.

I strongly believe that Mindanao is a Philippineized Malay sub-ethnic group.😢

Sarenaya was mispronounced by Americans , Salunayan is the right name of Fort Serenaya
