This is what a lot of people would consider as a "dream" call of duty game..
whether they overlook it or just forget is up in the air!
But I wanted to take a look at what I've been missing out on.

As a CODM player for the last 5 years I would like to explain some stuff that seems to confuse you and some that you got wrong.
1. the regular public matches do have bots in about 60% of them after a long time but not every match have bots from (I think) level 50. the bots in higher levels have better aim so they sometimes can be annoying and problematic but usually aren't.
2. there is Ranked play that have no bots at all, and have SBMM.
3.if you use an emulator or controller then the game will set you against other players using emulators or controllers, their numbers are small so your lobbies will have more bots.
4. there is an insane amount of game modes that rotates weekly, those modes are from every cod and there are some originals.
5. the aim assist for finger players isn't that big, and a lot of them can beat K&M players.
6. lucky draws cost probably more then bundles in other games, because after each draw the price goes up. but you cannot get the same item twice, so you can get every single item in a draw. (there are still a LOT of good free skins)
7. the other currency is credits, and like you said you can buy any gameplay items you can't get from a challenge and some skins with it. (there is another currency for crates but that is only for skins).
8. zombies is not new, it's there from 2020! and we still didn't get another map! there is another zombies mode (original to CODM) that is called 'Undead Siege' that use the BR map and some BR elements, it's nice.
9. the rewards you get go to your loadout under 'Inventory'. There are crates, XP cards and items there.
10. Isolated is a CODM original map, there is also Alcatraz as a form of resurgence map, and a new original map called Krai.
11. in BR there are always bots, but as you play it more there are more real players.
i don't know if you are going to read all of this but i already wrote it so i will post it anyways.
i hope you will give playing the game on your phone(or tablet) a try, it's really not that hard.

there is no sbmm in ranked. it goes by rank only. NOT SKILL. u cant party up with someone outside your tier. almost all of br has half bots. because br cant handle 100 real players. warzone mobile is 100% real players maybe not at first but def after a couple matches. and 100% no sbmm. and cod mobile does not have sbmm. even ranked. again its by skill. im a paid player. i bought an ipad and ipad pro with a cooling fan to play this and warzone mobile. so i play cod mobile and warzone mobile as my 2 main games. i also have 30 legendaries in codm. and the gunzo devil jester skin.

@@deathgrinderb3284 CODM is SBMM but different, they collect your data on how good you are, if you are good at the game, they put you to a team that is far worse than you so you can carry that noob team, that's why there's a lot of noobs reaching the highest rank by just getting carried.

9:17 Bots in codm have names so you can memorize the common names like plasticfoods

As a person who play this game on mobile since the very first day I can assure you that SBMM is very much present in codm, if you loose pretty badly in one game your next game will be against bots, then your another game will be slightly more difficult and ladder just raises until you loose badly and the process repeat itself, in ranked mode especially on high ranks something of that sort is also noticeable.

@ SBMM is everywhere, in both ranked and pubs, I regularly experience instances when my first ranked game (on grandmaster) is against bots and it becomes difficult in the second game, there also has been an instances when I has been on a lose streak in ranked and then I got thrown a bone (lobby full of bots).

Face three decent players and I’m the only good player on my team, everytime besides the bot matches. Same thing in ranked but for pubs?? it’s just obvious there’s a hidden mmr ranked statistic.
Emulater players have separate servers than mobile players, that's why you faced a lot of bots

@@Cross_ramen not all iPad users, because it just dominates over other mobile phones. I already know that a well-trained mouse and keyboard player will still be better especially with insane flicks that a touchscreen cannot do as accurately. iPad with a m2 or higher graphics card plugged directly to the internet via a lightning to ethernet adapter cable to avoid Wi-Fi and graphics lag issues is the best way to enjoy codm.
@@WilliamSlaghtno no any player well trained in their respective method of playing codm will dominate. If it's a one on one it just comes down to who's been more consistent/ just better over all. Not saying pc players are superior or touchscreen. It's just up to the player. Honestly the physical limitations on mobile really aren't that big a deal nor make much a difference (in codm at least)
@@VerieZestie2 @VerieZestie2 CODM is all about catering to noobs and bad players in hopes they spend $$$ so they try and seperate the lobbies as much as possible. Even tho top tier mobile players can easily hold their own against controller players, the average mobile player doesn't stand a chance. Two thumbs is inferior in every way to the average controller with back paddles. However good mobile players play with 4+ fingers so the skill gap is closed. You won't really experience CODM for what it is unless you play high SBMM touch lobbies, I've even played with controller players who can glitch into touch lobbies who told me controller and touch matches are incredibly different because experienced touch players move much faster and less predictablya DN due to SBMM/EOMM these lobbies aren't exactly accessible to new players (which I think is a huge downfall of the game because many otherwise interested people find it hard to take the game seriously when their first impression is boring and unengaging bot filled lobbies.) The only time the true CODM experience is accessible to lesser skilled players is during rank reset when every skill level is briefly thrown together again to grind back up to legendary. During this time these players obviously get demolished in ways they didn't even know possible because the game has been sheltering them from the reality of their own skill level in hopes of keeping their retention high. It's just terrible decision making all around with Activision.

The fact that you didn't talk about the skins this game has is insane! This game has skins that other COD would only dream about.
-There's basically the normal skins categories like rare, super rare, epic, legendary but there's also the MYTHIC which has the best skins in the entire game (also the most expensive ones).
- Mythic skins cost around 150 dolars just to get the blueprint itself, then another 150 to fully max it.
-all mythic guns have 5 levels which gives you a custom kill effects, kill feed, etc. Level 3 and 5 even gives the gun a different look! Which also has a different sight
-mythic skins can be shared with other players but they need to be Maxed, the more maxed mythics you have the more you can share them, for example if you have 10 mythics you can share the gun 10 times per match or after every round reset (there's no limit which means that you can share the gun in every match you play)
-there's also mythic skins for operators like Ghost, Spectre, etc.
- the game also has skins of their content creators like bobby plays, Iferg, etc. There's also some realy cool colabs like Messi, Neymar, etc

Super underrated! I hope this goes viral. Just one thing about the zombies: the mode you played is limited to 8 rounds with a boss fight at the end, but that’s just the default mode. There’s also a mode with unlimited rounds. (Plus, there’s an entirely different zombies experience called Undead Siege, accessible from the top left.)
I did see that, unfortunately when ever I tried playing Undead Siege the game kept crashing for whatever reason and I didn't want to speak on something I couldn't play myself.

this is my main game. and warzone mobile. as a direct comparison. warzone mobile is better br and mp. however cod mobile has been out for 5 years. so a lot more to do in cod m. but wzm is better if it had the same content. prices are much cheaper in wzm as well. like they cost the same in mobile as the 70 game. so just 20$ for most bundles.

And don't forget the trial Loadout. In which you can use score streaks, guns, perks that you haven't unlocked. In which there are points to get. And you can have them back by playing. Also the zombie mode BR, undead siege.

This game is really popular here in Southeast Asia. I don't regret spending money on this game because it's really fun to play. However, I wish they gave more attention to FPP mode in battle royale.
Fpp movement is weird, but ive only played it on 2022 so maybe im wrong now.

That's the only cod game I play daily, on my phone during the day and on my PC when I get home, it's the extract of the whole cod franchise in a single game:
- It got the gameplay of BO2 with the slide mechanic from Ghosts and the operator skill from BO4.
- You have 8 classic modes, limited time modes on rotation with some being unique to codm.
- You get a new gun every season, sometimes we get a new map.
- It has the best maps from the all over the franchise with some original ones.
The only things missing are a new classic zombie mode map and a proper PC port which is exclusive to China for now, I can see why they don't want to release it globally because it may kill warzone and people won't need to buy the new Cod every year since all they care about is the multiplayer, plus Codm on PC runs great even on a toaster.(tried the Chinese PC version, it's just perfect)
Sorry bro, you got to hit like 50~ hours until you start reaching the "average player". People here play with like 6 fingers, being able to jump, slide, aim, move, shoot, and use grenades at the same time has a major advantage even over some PC players.

When you’re on emulator you don’t play against people who are on phones and same when you’re on controller it’ll pair you against controller players, which is good. That means though, if you’re on controller or pc, you’ll run into way more bots. After you play a while, you run into many real people on mobile though.
I wish this game was crossplay and was on console and pc officially.

If you play on a gameloop there will be mostly bots. The system detects you as you would use an "external controller" which matches you with people that in fact use a controller or play on a gameloop as you did. The Chinese version of CODM already has an official PC launcher for CODM. I don't know when we will get it for global servers but that could be massive for anyone who wanted to try out the game but refused to play it on phone.
3 things you got wrong about codm as a concurrent player:
1.CoDM isnt really forgotten, more like looked over. Like you said it being on mobile was a turn off, but imo, its not that different. Just learn the game on mobile like you did on console or pc.
2. Real players no matter what device you are on are easier to find on ranked play, its not that different from quick play but it has more players in them and you can get rewards like epic skins for guns for ranking up.
3. Lucky draws, the prices increase the more you spin, especially for mythic guns or characters.

11:08 30 to 40 cp draw is for first pull or draw. The price goes up pretty fast and the last draw cost around 5000 cp. It costs around 100 dolllars to complete the whole draw.
this video is already gonna blow up and I can feel it. Here are some things you missed about this game:
*More original maps* : Memnos Island (a Ground War map that is actually fairly fun to play in), Kurohana Metropolis (a beautiful map), Coastal, Tunisia, Nuketown Dragon as you eluded (it's actually a reskin of BO3's Nuketown. It was made for their Jetpack mode called Boost Assault.)
*Multiplayer* : The modes you showcased are only the standard modes: there are a plethora of more modes that are limited time like Infected, Ground War, Control, Dropzone, Face Off, Capture the Flag, an actual Jetpack mode from BO3/IW, Dropkick, Safeguard, Prop Hunt, Hordepoint, Gun Game, 10v10, Hardcore, Cranked, Snowball Shuffle, Heist, Guns Blazing, Big Head Blizzard, Goliath Clash, Arena, Tank Battleground (literally World of Tanks but COD version) and more.
*Zombies* : They had Nacht at one point for round based zombies but they removed it. Also there is an ENDLESS mode for the real round based zombies action but it has a timer of 2-3 hrs (not too sure). The idea is to salvage mobile devices from overheating from playing too much zombies I suppose. Surely Nacht it will come back sometime in 2025. Undead Siege is great as well, it's a discount version of Outbreak but I actually like it. It's fast and you can work on camos as well. They also released a zombies mode this year called Darkness Infiltration but it was exclusive to other regions aside from global (due to a collaboration with another mobile title) and it had scorestreaks, specialists and other MP elements into zombies. It reminded me of Modern Warfare zombies as it also had AI bots that controlled tanks and goliaths shooting at you alongside zombies. (Sadly it never came to global. Something gives me hopes that it will in the future.)
*BR* : You missed on 2 resurgence maps: Alcatraz and Krai (a mobile reimagination of Verdansk with Cold War Ground war assets that released this November as part of their 5th anniversary update). A lot of ppl play BR because of these 2 maps. Give it a go, you will actually find it fun, it has a lot of real people alongside bots.
Believe it or not they had plans to integrate Gulag into this but they scrapped the idea because Warzone Mobile was prioritized and given how that game is a massive failure, I hope they put more attention to BR mechanics. I would love to see Plunder into CODM.
*Tournament* : Not only Credits are grindable but COD points are grindable to an extent as well. This mode has all party modes (infected, ground war, mobile exclusive modes like big head blizzard, goliath clash) and you grind for these tickets that you can exchange them for a chance for free COD points. You also receive coupons that you can use to get free spins on premium microtranactions to get a chance of getting these skins without paying anything.
*Club* : They had a night club exclusive to anniversary seasons where you can interact with other players, go in a boxing match with them, play darts, kaboom, those rhythm tile games and parkour. It's like the headquarters from COD WW2.
*Get High from MWIII / Free Run from BO3* : There is a map that literally screams Get High coming to CODM this season so there is another aspect to this already full-stacked title. Yes you can parkour and speedrun in this as well.
*Legendary and Mythic Mastercrafts* : They have been giving players an opportunity to get free $100-300 worth of mastercrafts for free since 2023 by getting into the highest rank 6 times in ranked play for MP/BR. These skins are great and also gives players a purpose to play ranked without having to play absurd amount of money into cosmetics.
*PC Support* : CODM is allegedly coming to Steam sometime this year, so players who don't want to play on mobile interface don't have to play on Gameloop.

I want to add one more thing about the guns is that there is such a wide spectrum of grinding you can do. You can grind not only guns but all of the different skins too
Great video! This was a pretty decent breakdown and the editing was great for such a small channel.But one thing, iirc emulator matchmaking makes u get matched with emulator players only. probably that's why there are so many bots coz a minuscule amount of people play on emulator.
Also, SBMM is only present in ranked play. If you aren't playing ranked, you aren't getting SBMM'd per se.
The zombies mode hasn't been updated in literal EONS so that's why it seems (and is) pretty barebones. But on the plus side, some dark matter skins are locked behind zombies so that's that.
The MP is genuinely the best experience I have had so far (I have been playing for 2 years) with an FPS and it is very fun.

I always found conflicting statements for how exactly the matchmaking pool works- but it's usually quite obvious when a player is actually a real person or not.
Then for Zombies it's cool the mode just exists in a mobile game honestly.

@@VerieZestie2 I guess the matchmaking debate is a huge can of worms that needn't be opened but I do feel like zombies has a lot of potential that is just wasted (also undead siege is way better anyway, change my mind) and it is just left there to rot, but I do agree having zombies is better than, well no zombies.

as a codm legendary player, yes theres a lot of bots in regular modes, but in ranked its a completely different story, its almost necessary to play with 3+ fingers
There's also a special gamemode every weekend called tournament, with various gamemodes but mostly Alcatraz, it comes with various rewards, like something called tournament camos, wich is a new camo every 6 weeks I think... Also I wanted to talk about leaderboards, you not only have your regular ranked and BR leaderboards but also weapon leaderboards, after you max out a weapon it enters mastery level, going from iron, gold, platinum, diamond and master... After master there are regional and global weapon leaderboards, there's only room for 100 so you don't come by those very often
Idk about everyone else, but i was so hyped when Call of Duty announced an official mobile game. Im pretty sure i have a livestream of me playing it the day it released

I play on phone best cod game ever, and difficulty isn't a problem. If you win enough you start playing with destroyers also play ranked you will generally get people on your level

@@VerieZestie2actually you won’t really get full player lobbies until you get to grandmaster in ranked or when a new ranked season just started. there’s also sbmm as you get higher in the ranks
I was 11k last season, today i played master 1, bots, ez mvp, next game, full of past leaderboard players but it wasnt that hard, alot of leaderboard players are boosted, i have screenshots of scoring 1667 consistently with leaderboards players only, it is more of a race rather than a test of skill.

Some notes
Partial bot lobbies (usually 3 bots 2 players per team) is mostly a thing in pubs, ranked will be mostly humans (after you hit Pro) but if you have a lose streak it will give you bot lobbies occasionally if your account isnt super old and you aren't in Grand Master.
Bots can be detected by their names, they use specific word combinations in a few different languages.
SBMM does exist, especially when playing on mobile where more players are and they actually have a playerbase to balance matches with.
Zombies on CODM is new, it's old and unpopular so they never continued developing it.
BR is mostly bots until you hit Legendary, after that you start to get good lobbies with more players

I've played this game for 6 years its definitely the best mp cod game and the best mobile game for me. It has everything, i freaking love it! 12:00 also the C is called Credits, and yeah lol who named it CP
as someone who started cod since 2014 when codm came out it was the ONLY cod game i had fun with for 5 Years straight with my friends. I was suprised that i enjoyed a mobile game more than the console and pc version of COD i put so much hours into this it has so many content for 0$ that its actually fun and i started buying cosmetics because i knew there would not be a new codm every year so i can use them everytime i wanna play !

Also the "Lucky Draws" start at like 30 COD Points for the first draw, then get more expensive every time you draw until you eventually get everything. It goes from like 30 all the way up to 5400 COD Points. Mythics are the most expensive as they can cost up to $300 USD total for the final product. Also Zombies has both an endless mode and an original mode from COD Online called Undead Siege

One thing to note, scorestreak does not change after you get a kill, even if your other load out had different ones, they don't change but remain as the previous one, unless you use persistent
Sbmm is real, your just not high enough, at lvl 350 public matches have about 2-3 bots unless you're really unlucky to be in a 5v5 match in a public one not rank, and rank is bot free after master iirc UNLESS you lose then you enter a bot lobby with one teammate and ther rest are full of bots. And lucky draws have the same exact number unless on special occasion (like the previous ak47 Christmas skin, or legacy weapons which are 2 skins btw), the price of the draw changes depending on the last item. Aim assist is decent and isn't that strong considering we have OUR FINGERS on the screen to move. Base guns can be purchased with credits, unlocked via the 11th load aka the trial load out (either permanently or only for that specific load out)
Love your videos man As a CODm content creator (a small one), I would like to explain somethings you have misunderstood.
As a person who use to play on emulator, You have barely touched the surface of what this game provides.
SBMM exists, genuinely how can u imagine a COD game without SBMM nowadays. It is only present in Ranked play though. So if you want to get really sweaty lobbies then thats what u need to play but u can't cause after you reach Master III rank, you won't be able to find any lobbies on emulator because it also has Input based Matchmaking system which should give you a vague idea how matchmaking works in this game. The modes you saw on core section are just basic modes. Just go to private matches and see how many modes you can find. And in the end I would say, the monetization system in this game is worst than the main titles. With each spin, the price of next spin gets high so there you go.
Thank you for the clarifications on those things, I didn't know ranked was so influential on everything overall; thought it would be treated as its own separate thing.

Now is kind of the best time to join CODM. When the game first released there was a huge grind element but now you get weapon XP cards like candy and they release weapon blueprints for free on a regular basis that I’d argue rival that of the current call of duty on Console/PC. Not to mention the multiple FREE dark matter camos for just leveling up!
If this game is ported to PC, trust me it'll beat the crap outta Warzone
It already does actually, the player base is much higher than any other CoD (at least to my knowledge) because of the Chinese player count; mobile gaming is stupidly popular there.
Apparently it nearly was. There was a playable pc port of codm made by the Devs sometime in 2023 but wasn't globally released

The Lucky Boxes are expensive, they start small with 5/10 cp (Different price for regions) but for unlock all the content of the box is usually around 100$
The Zombie its abandoned but you can get some good looking skins
Frequent updates, frequent events, LTM rotation, it's got everything, except the corporate greed

"its not a pay to win advantage" respectfully disagree. Most of the time it is, since these paid items usually free up the upgrade slot of red dot sight, and you can use the slot to make your gun function better than the same gun in the hands of a free to play opponent.
@moccagriselda there's a free m4 blueprint with a built-in sight, but yeah, your point stands, I've gotten two free legendaries and, somehow my aim got about 20% better
@ legendaries dont have free red dots thats only mythics. i use iron sights on most guns.

I was one of the first people to Pre-Book Cod Mobile when it was 1st release, it was so amazing and mind-blowing to play Nuketown on a mobile, never looked back since! Glad people are finally talking about it.

Exactly its a mobile game. But for comparison of other Mobile games and cod titles, for a cod on Mobile it is great. The graphics are way better than expected AND you can download HD resources for advanced graphics. And it runs pretty good on most phones.

this was my first multiplayer experience ever in call of duty i played the classics yes, but i didn´t have access to internet back in the day, and when it was launch it was pretty decent, not much guns, not much modes, but it was fun, almost a year later, it became literally other game, things change A LOT, the only thing i really don't like about the game is the constant reminder of the things you could buy at the store, and the disappearance of bundles, but it's a very solid game for a casual perspective, i got Damascus on all my guns (at the time), and i really enjoy it
there are multiple zombies variants and a round based also where you go on as long as you can or you want to exfil (in CODM)
I still play it to this day it’s imo the best cod I’ve ever played because it didn’t change it just kept getting better.
just wanna say the lucky draws start at 30, but go up every time. for the final draw alone it costs 4000-6000 with all the draws totaling to around 10-12ish thousand cod point

vulture: pick up more ammo when killing, Few tips: skills to use: sprint +5% skill, martyrdom skill which means when you die you set off a grenade and have a chance of getting a kill
Contact grenade and gas: disrupt enemy from going ADS, contact grenade busts and creams open on the enemy.
You can use credits to buy characters and epic guns too
Gold crate coupons and etc can be used to open lucky box crates and strong boxes
It really hurt my heart to see the consistent slow reload, so if you wish, you may give me a list of any guns and ill provide you gunsmith loadouts for them in beginner level and high level
(Some of these loadouts will have little to no recoil, but cannot work with long range, mainly because i had gof remove the scope to make way for an attachment
Great video! Awesome editing and voice-over. Just a couple words of advice. Play the game for several months without an emulator. Play a lot of every gamemode, ranked and unranked. Then do a follow-up video. You'll discover a lot more about the game, its players, and its bots; for good and for bad.
Codm has alcatraz and the krai map, wich is a remix of thr cancelled bocw br map, plus zombies have an infinity mode, but activision is doesn't want to add more zombie maps and the official pc version because it would affect the profits of the PC/console version, it's like companies hate money from time to time.
I play codm and it's super hard to rank up but bots do invite you everyday so you get free points

I honestly love seeing people from other communities get interested in CODM, I've been playing since the gunsmith was implemented in the game (I think it was like 2021?) and I've always liked it, sometimes the MP grind gets a little repetitive over and over again, but the fact that for 2 years they have given a free legendary for reaching legend is worth it
CodM is based off Black Ops 4 mostly, as you mentioned, as time went on, the devs just started adding whatever, and it ends in a very content packed fps on a platform you would least expect such

You get all the modes if you create a private match.
In ranked mode once you reach legendary you dont get bots,and even when the rank resets next time you'll have no bots.
There is SBMM in this game, there's a reason good players cannot find matches at all.
The skins are sick as hell worth it.
The best thing about COD is the inventory of guns, maps, and the graphics which reminds me of BO2. Which was my favorite release.

i play this for ab 6 years consistent i never missed a day most of their skins are better than their pc and console titles with their mythic operators and blueprints looking insane and actually worth money its a good game and i dont think its ever going to die

I played CODM for 5 years, nowadays I play Warzone Mobile
But I can say that I played with many touch input control mobile players that have good aim.
Many of us even turned off our aim assist to practice better aim and crosshair placement.
I don’t think you understand how hard this game really can be until you grind through rank and get legendary in both multiplayer and BR. I don’t know how codm is forgotten when the player base continues to grow every day.
In my server when you pass some levels, then you don't get bot in your MP lobby, it's all real players

PC and console player seem to have a misconception that phone player are slow. Or maybe have a difficulty moving? I feel it is much easier to play with my phone, my movement is smoother, all the buttons are right there on your screen so nothing is confusing. My aim is good and sensitivity is much easier to control on the phone. In fact most top codm streamers use iPads or phones. It's just efficient
Oh, I always complain about matchmaking being complete ass when in fact it didn’t exist at all!
Also, I swear they made the bots have an aimbot which just triggers randomly!

What I do like is that in CODM you can technically reach leaderboards & play infinitely without ever spending a dime of real money and able to unlock all skills/weapons.
Money basically buys you skins, effects & camos.
Sure some of these real money weapons are a best version of said weapon often because they will have a great optic standard so you don’t have to use an attachment slot.
I spend a lil here and there for the guns I enjoy using most.
CODM isn’t what I’d call a pay to win game like some others.
While many leaderboard players do own mythic skins & weapon camos, they mostly do that for themselves. It doesn’t give that player a real advantage other than giving a free solid optic.
It’s fun and also extremely frustrating especially during really saucy games loaded with competitive players.
Battle Royale Isolated map is the superior map. I enjoy playing BR a lot. You can truly sneak around & use your skill in single, dual or 4 person teams.
Single player BR leaves the win completely in your hands, while in a 2 or 4 person team you can squad up with friends or get random teammates playing against other squads. Your rank in the game depends a lot on this in a team. In a 4 person team your rank can be 1-25 as long as you stick around till every member of your team falls. In dual it’s 1-50 & solo it’s 1-100.
Stopped playing COD mobile after 4 years, as there is nothing new. But what's new, are the mythic crates which are more expensive than the phone you are playing with. One guy spent more money on a mythic drop, as the PS5, just to have a gun skin. But people are moving out of this game, that's why COD Mobile is now doing ads on RUclips to gain players. People are going to more modern games like Blood Strike. COD Mobile in 2025 feels like an old grandpa. Same maps, same guns with different skins and so on.
I am playing this game for over 6 years I love this game so much and I have almost all the battle passes ( BTW if you get to 100 level or legendary rank you will almost Never Gonna found a bot again)
I play both the Global CODM and the CODM Garena. And in the CODM Garena server (I'm from the Philippines, from SOUTH EAST ASIA) it's a total total sweatfest even in Public Matches especially the Ranked Games.
9:51 this game does have sbmm and all real players, but only if your playing ranked which is separate and gives more rewards
PC emulator and phone lobbies are separated, as there aren't much players on emulator, you'll get more bots there. In phones, if you reach grandmaster or legendary and be around level 200, all ranked matches will be with real players, even if they are bots, those have crazy skills and aimbot, so they'll play better than average normal players
