"Free healthcare" while sounding nice is far from what it actually is... taxes partially fund the health programs of Canada, and these programs enable complete equal access to healthcare facilities, surgeries, rehabilitation, etc. meaning that while you will pay less for healthcare the chance is very high that the quality of care won't be as good as in the States. Furthermore, because of these equity rules people have longer wait items for surgeries and life saving medical interventions.
And no, you poster child of ignorance. America is not a socialist nation. We are a constitutional republic. If America was a socialist nation then the world would be in a far worse place currently. America is responsible for over 70% of all medical breakthroughs globally, our military is the de-facto military of practically all of Europe (because without America, Russia would turn Sweden, Ukraine, Estonia, and many more into their bitch) and also American purchasing power would be far less resulting in our economy being far less fluid, mobile, and diversified. You can keep your socialism over there in your own nations. Socialism breeds nothing but tyranny, death, and oppression of the masses.
