I also gift myself, and when discussing it my neighbour,a lady in her late 70s told me she has been doing it for years!She does it all year and by Christmas she has forgotten most of what she picked up so even gets a cool surprise 😆

Yes the Wild Unknown Archetypes are difficult to shuffle, so much so I got rid of my 1st deck. Then bought it 2 years later 2nd hand. But now I use wooden bingo tiles in a bag and draw a number or 3 and then I can search for that card. It helps to know the roman numerals. If not write on the modern ones on a sharpie, saves the brain strain.
It is a deeper deck, that I feel will take years to gain a connection with all of the cards. It is energy for those big reads, once a quarter or birthday or even a transition reading. Hence taking a long time to get a deep connection with the cards. Definitely needs a tarot to clarify it. Haha!

Very fun video. I also bought myself a deck for Christmas ( le Tarot Kaamelott) and wrap it up to unwrap on Christmas eve. So much fun. I love your videos and your channel. Merry Christmas! Thanks for sharing your joys, your happiness put smile on my face. 🤩🥰 I ordered myself bunches of deck since the Black Friday...but I should have wrapped them, lol Good idea! For me, the perfect deck is my 1st study deck(Smith-Waite Tarot Centennial). I don't use it much now days, but only when I feel I need a clear message with no BS. That's the one I always went back to, it's like my old pal. I try to stick with a small group of decks only now days. If a deck is in the same catagory as the other one I have, I usually will rehome it. I love to see how you work with the shadows & light oracle. I am waiting for mine to arrive. I am not sure if I will feel comfortable to use it for shadow work or just stick with the power of surrender card....

There is such a thing as a perfect deck, if you make it yourself. I have made nearly a dozen decks on MPC and another company I can't remember the name of. Lucky for you, Jasmine Beckett Griffith has made part of her catalog of art free to use. You could make your very own custom Tarot or Oracle deck . It's instantly readable since you choose the images yourself. I made one and I'm about to tweak the font and the backs and reprint it. Merry Christmas & Happy Everything!

@@divinecycles1847 Only part of her artwork is free to use, but there are plenty to choose from to make any kind of message you want. I made my deck playing card size, approx. 2.5" x 3.5" just because of cost, but I have made Tarot sized decks with other images. I know you've said you like small cards so you could make bridge size or even mini. Have fun! 😺
