Greetings from Germany.
I was able to play my first ever chtulu and Delta Green adventure(both in ones) this last weekend at the annual convention in my hometown.
And man, this was pure horror and fun together with some : the x file vibes with my heroes Mulder and Scully.
We played : lover in the ice with a very great game master. We used charakter sheeds in german and we only speak in german language. Only a handout and 5 tape recordings from the jungle were in english.
Our final fight was a dramatic battle ended with a bittersweat victory. We were 3 players, 2 guys and a lady as agents. So we had to split up in the lady and myself in one team and the third agent together with the deputy (whom we were able to convince to help us otherwise mass panic would break out among the population).
In this epic fight my team was successful but in the other team the third agent was killed. Which was a hard pill to swallow. The lucky part was that the deputy killed the last alien and cover all traces.
All in one i have had alot of fun and this was for sure not the last Delta Green adventure i was part of.
I think my english isn't so bad but i realy wish that Delta Green gets a german translation.

It was my first delta green game. Truly disturbing game that really chilled me to my bones. We went loud and surprisingly we actually saved the town. I killed 2 of the big monsters thanks to playing a hrt ATF agent with a full auto rifle. Great mondule that offered a fate worse than death.

Just finished running this with some friends. Definitely not for everyone due to the themes, implications and where things can lead - as much as knowing the players, I have a feeling Handlers need to be in the right mindset to run it - yet one of the most interesting Delta Green scenarios. I guess that says a lot about the game!

Oh yeah, you really should know the boundaries of everyone involved before running this one - but if those boundaries fit, it's a fantastic scenario.
