@@demiurgeobzen327 My Redeye is a Monster. It’s like riding a dragon. I’m putting Nittos on pretty soon so hopefully it will tame the beast a little bit
Sure. If you're on a Velcro track with Velcro tires on the fifth Tuesday in February on a leap year with a solar eclipse it the sky, then, and only then, MAYBE you'll get half the power to the ground and not convert thousands of dollars into clouds of white smoke while standing still.
Btw guys for those who are like hella new The Redeye is a Trim for the hellcat. hellcat is the starting trim then as you get to each trim it gets more HP and a different badge and some internals
@@michaelblevins1651 this is truth but unfortunately I have a super stock Challenger and they did not make any different logos or decals for it even though it's the top trim at least for the production models
The actual reason for the red eye logo is because the Hellcat Redeye was equipped with a lot of parts from the 2018 Demon. They added to red eye to the logo so that the Hellcat appeared to be “possessed by the demon”.
Also the Charger/Challenger Redeye (& Challenger Super Stock) has stronger internals, essentially the same motor as the 2018 Demon, has a green Belt for the supercharger & the valve covers are black instead of orange. Redeye-Jailbreaks & Super Stocks got a lil tune to go from 797 to 807. My stock Redeye got smoked badly by a reg Challenger with a ported SC, tune, cam and full catback. They’re all monsters tho! ❤️

Aight well he explained maybe 1 significant difference. Lemme break it down. The Redeye is a detuned Demon with some of the demon stuff. Unlike the standard hc, the redeye also has a power chiller which reroutes all ac to the engine as well as a second hollowed out hole in on the passenger side inner headlight. A second fuel pump to get more fuel in the cylinders, the after chiller and locked behind a 8-speed auto while the hc can have either a 6-speed manual or the same 8-speed auto
They both are Hellcats just different horsepower. Hellcat and Hellcat Redeye. 717 hp was exclusive on the Charger Hellcat Daytona only. I had #70 of 501 until I sold it.
Im confused... the 717hp (2019 year and up), was not exclusive to the Daytona. My 2019 SRT Hellcat (Plus Package), has 717hp, an open intake, and snorkel hood. Prior to 2019 Hellcats' came with 707hp and a closed air intake, and a different hood.
The two big similarities are that the dudes that buy these cars pay more per month on their vehicle than they do on their family or apartments. Also because they are left outside, they both have extremely high theft rates.
You can make a build for half the cost of a hellcat and can output more power if your a gearhead like me, i bought a junk 94 chevy for 1200 that came with a 454, rebuilt the motor and added a blower to it, and changed the internals, it broke 2x times on me but overall i spent at least 25k to have it where i have it nowand im pushing out 1240 hp fron the rear, i can push out more but im good on the power it has now, i can't daily it is my problem but I'll take it to drag strip every Thursday and Sunday down here in north texas
And now you can get a 2k mile, 707hp hellcat for $55k, add a 3.0 or 3.8 Whipple, add an ice tank, JLT cold air intake, heat exchanger, transmission rebuild kit, transmission cooler, pulley, upgrade the fuel system, injectors, tires, thermostat, throttle body, and tune. Call it a Hellbeast 😈
You forgot to mention the supercharger killer chillier for Max cooling. And that the redeye engine is actually the demon engine with way more forged internals.
Crazy thing is only difference is the super charger hell you can buy aftermarket super chargers that push way more horsepower for what???? 15 thousand dollars cheaper if you go and get the reset itself it’s pointless to be honest with you the hellcat is the same exact car!!!!!!

It was probably stolen or salvaged!? No way you can get a HC/HC Redeye for 10k in good condition. The engine alone without wires, supercharger etc, is worth 20k. My Hellcat 2019 (Plus Package), cost $105,000.00 CDN this doesn't include PPF, paint correction and ceramic coating. $115,000.00 Paid. If you got a HC for 10K I would seriously not buy it. Imo humble opinion.
So my question is, in a regular hellcat, when people do pulley upgrades and have a regular hellcat doing 1000 horsepower, what is all needed? Is it just a pulley, and would the regular hellcat with the 1000 horsepower be better than the redeye stock, or would it be better to have a redeye. Also, I've seen videos and heard that a regular hellcat is actually better than a redeye it beats the redeye in a race because the redeye obviously can not put all that power down to the wheels
Depends on your pockets… narrow body 717 hellcats give the most bang for the buck. ..they’re relatively cheaper & you can easily mod them to surpass a stock red eye.
okay, well, one more question some say it's better to buy a widebody because it has upgraded suspension and better tires and rims is it really worth it to pay the extra cash to get a widebody hellcat over a narrow body. Sorry for the questions. I'm just thinking about making a purchase. I am torn between 3 cars, a regular hellcat widebody challenger, a redeye narrow body, or a gt500, and yes, these would be used. I refuse to pay over 100 grand for Dodge or Ford, and being honest, I can't afford a 100 thousand dollar car. I got a life to live and I can't live it in a car. The oldest year I would possibly go for used is 2022 if I can't find a nice one that's not all messed up and taken care of or its some insane deal then maybe 2021, but that's the oldest I would go. I was even looking at a c7 z06, but I feel it wouldn't be as much fun as a daily. Having to get in and out of it and driving it on the horrible Arizona roads that we have.
