Another Class Video Stephen, i used to love scraping the loft out, i never looked at it as a chore as such. I almost found it relaxing, and after i was done scraping, i loved to put the loft white down, sweep it in good, and whatever was left over sweep it up with a dust pan and brush, i actually miss the smell of the loft white, i used to work in sandyhill stud for about a year when i was 16, had to get two bus's out and home once a week, i would be there all day. Then there was an old boy he owned a pub, i used to clean his double-decker loft weekly, and i cycled 45 mins to his house, it was a cracking loft about eight 8x4 sections in it and a corridor and sliding doors into each section and saddle perches, only bad/mad ting was he had the old plastic tyles on the floor, abd they where a nightmare to scrape with a garden hoe he had for me, he had yellow pigeons and all. Got me a few pounds every week to pay for the pigeons to go training in the morning with a lad we had that collected from outside our estate so that was handy and then racing on a friday night. Couldn't always be asking the parents for money back then. You wouldn't see 16/17 year olds doing it nowadays 😂😂😅😅😅😅
Enjoyed that story des, I do love hearing about the old times! I love hearing my dad talking about them! No not many kids want to involve themselves doing that on a daily basis too many other distractions pal
@ssbrownracingpigeons37 Jesus stephen, you must think I'm about 70, lol , I started racing at 14 pal and before that, I was like a silent partner racing with my brother 6 miles away, but I stopped racing when i was 30 and again was a silent partner with my old club mate for 2 years racing against Christy and Keith, and I'm only 47 now. In the last few months, I've seen a racing pigeon in the city centre, and I was waiting for the girlfriend to come meet me, so I got a cheap 80p bag of rice and caught him, he's a lovely small blue Cock with a stunning Violet Eye, ends up he's a GBS, so i got tha Chapt who I found his pigeon dead down here dead to report it for me, and the owner is from portadown, but wont answer on there house phone so far, so I might have to just E-mail the owner and tell him, ting is, since the day I caught him I've looked a couple of times at the flock of ferrals he does be with and no sign of the Fcuker now lol, I doubt they would want him back anyways after been living on the streets of Dublin, but allways nice to find out where one went seems hardly any get reported Ever
Enjoyed that mate, might seem a dry subject but as you say, very important 👍 I did laugh out loud at the 'inundated with modelling contracts' comment.....seen it coming but they always make the best gags 😂😂😂😂
@AnthonyFennessy thanks anto!! Appreciate that 🤝 i say the same until you scrap abit of the wood up and then constantly catch it everything you scrape 🤦🤣🤣
Hi Stephen, another good video and your definitely not Blabberin on, good information on pigeon keeping during the moult, totally agree with you, putting the work in to the Birds and Lofts will help get something out of it. Stock lofts looking good as well. 2025 season has already started. Good luck for coming season and same to all fanciers, especially from the accumulating number of predators.🤞
@robertbingham-9287 thanks Robert probably something i left out is of course we need the right pigeons mate But I'm a big believeler you give as much as you can to your pigeons they will repay you 💪 Thanks pal hopefully we get some great racing again 🤝

well Steven I am SHOCKED you are such a knowledgeable and kind hearted person that you couldn't find it in you to help Clifford with all those modelling contract Emails, obviously with you experience with them it would be easy to point him in the right direction 😂😂. Also what is the new introduction you are hiding in the office they looked a bit on the small side for distance so I am guessing they must be sprinters🤔🤔, the security guard looks in great nick love that type of eye, another great watch Steven thanks

Thank paul I appreciate that pal! 👍🤝 Sometimes we would add it paul, if I say remember about it. Sometimes use like avidress plus too. I remember hearing a talk about acidify the water with apple cider didn't have much affect due to the stomach acid so the ph was similar and there was more importance cleaning and disinfectant the drinkers and feeders to restrict bacteria growth but then again you do what you feels right pal we do add it now and again paul Take care pal 👍🤝
