I like David's Superman a lot, but I think the one that currently holds my heart is CW Superman and Lois' Superman, Tyler Hoechlin. David is absolutely awesome as Superman. However, Tyler carries a more "rugged" Superman that just appeals to me more ❤
What really sold me is that he really involves his wife in the story of him auditioning the heck out of those tapes. This guy knows how to give everyone credit and stay real. Yah, I'll watch that superman movie. Thanks for the hype reel, GQ.
Really appreciated him talking about the costuming. Costumers really get overlooked in the industry even though it's a really difficult and time consuming job.
It's very perplexing how I've seen multiple live action superman iterations in my lifetime, but this one feels special for some reason, even before Ive seen the movie
After watching the movie, I think I can safely say that David is my favorite Superman so far. No disrespect to the ones that came before, they were all legendary in their own ways.
@adrian3747_ if youre referring to henry cavill, alot of people (me included) feel that while he pulls off Superman the hero, he doesnt play Clark Kent very well and have issues with James Snyders writing and directing for superman I find it far too gritty and serious, I dont find him as sweet or dorky (clark is a little bit of a dork!!! he was raised on a farm by his ma and pa kent on a little farm) and people find his iteration to be too gritty and serious and him too traditionally "cool" (not that superman isnt cool, but i hope you know what i mean when I say that) I get why people like Henry Cavill's superman though, I'm not trying to argue just give some examples
@timbridger4681 "Best" is relative. But it is a story beloved by many, that celebrates the best aspects of Superman. His kindness, optimism, friendship, sacrifice.
@timbridger4681I wouldn’t call the best superman “story” but I call it the best depiction of superman as a character, I agree the narrative/story of all star superman isn’t the best of all time but that comic is the best at showing Supermans character, the characterization of superman in all star superman is definitely the best of all superman comics
It’s nice that the guy playing a superpowered alien is as down-to-earth as he is. The cursing caught me off guard, but I think that just tells you how well he played the role.
Jerry Bruckheimer produced the original Twister and both Top Guns. I'm sure if he was talking about Top Gun 2 when filming Twisters it probably got back to him in one way or another
All doubts about him gone with this interview. The way he describes the duality with Clark and Superman and the way he understands them both is promising
@autofocus4556 I mean, you would think that, but as much as I love Cavill, that duality was never present in his Superman. Not to mention that his version is extremely different than that of the comics. Snyder wanted to tell a dark story and in the process butchered the character. I did enjoy the movie to an extent, but just because someone worked on the movie it doesn't mean they understand the character.
this is a fake comment, and look how carefully he holds his face direct at camera, never turning to expose his huge nose why do you think he wasn't allowed to watch tv growing up? because it's goyslop.
He’s such a breath of fresh air in Hollywood. How often do we get to watch someone that is this technically skilled and passionate about acting? It’s nice to see someone in the movies that isn’t a nepo baby and that has actually worked to get the roles. I hope he keeps getting them because he’s so much fun to watch.
The personality that he’s exuding in this interview is a total blend of both Clark Kent and Superman. There’s confidence and self-assuredness tempered by nerdiness, goofiness, and humility. I can see why he was picked to play the role.
He's so intelligent and well-spoken and confident. He seems so at ease with his new level of fame, so confident yet grounded and humble. He's so respectful of the character and the actors who previously played the part. There's something very genuine about him. He's charismatic and funny. He's very handsome but not in an intimidating way. It feels like I could approach him and not feel overwhelmed because he has a warm and grounded vibe that's comforting and welcoming. In short, he is Superman in real life and I cannot stop gushing over him. The more I see of him, the more I like him.
what an incredibly like-able yet normal seeming dude. It’s nice to hear someone speak candidly and true to themselves. The casual but not forced swearing just makes him seem like anyone else you’d talk to. cool guy
these are some of my favourite interviews ever. there's nothing more satisfying when it feels like the actor themself cares just as much about the character as you do and that's just something you can't fake. excellent interview. so excited for this film
I still choose to believe that James Gunn and his team went outside one day, found David and just started him following him around with a camera while he was doing superhero stuff. He IS Superman.
I like that this wasn't just a video that could've been titled "here's what I ate and how I worked out, and...cut." Quite cool to learn the actor's thoughts on the character and role before even getting the call.
he has so much depth as an individual, i've been watching his interviews and dare i say there was never a moment that he was unlikable. there are very few men who speaks with such substance and not only talk about themselves but also give credit to everyone who helped him, and david is one of them.
Hopefully david should try to do voice acting in the future, got the best voice for it. But so hyped with David nailing the character of Superman, despite everything said, there’s room for improvement with the suit and the future 🤞🏾
Agreed. Him being able to change his inflection the way he does for Clark's voice and Superman's voice makes me think he'd be a great fit for voice acting.
3:13 him in this clip honestly looks like a totally different person than when he plays Superman or when he is just being himself and totally makes me buy in that people wouldn’t notice they’re the same person
I love that even though he thought he wasn’t going to get it, he still put effort into his audition and researched before hand, along with putting his 2 cents in
I thought nothing could beat Henry Cavill as Superman, but wow, was I wrong! I’ve seen the movie twice now, I can’t get enough. I love all the detail and the way he spoke about the role and everything. Big fan!
My kids are young and we watched Reeve's Superman 1 & 2 last week. While they giggled at the special effects, they loved them. They both commented, unprompted, about how could Clark fool everyone with just a pair of glasses. But were amazed at how Reeves pulled it off. Can't wait for this new one!
I highly recommend seeing this in the theaters if you can. James Gunn created some of the coolest comic book shots I have ever seen. I got emotional multiple times and I'm not even an OG Superman fan.
She is a perfect Lois, if anything, I don’t think anyone who has played her is more for fitting of the character on an aesthetic level. It’s perfect casting. And she is a great actor.
Exactly how I’ve felt. None of the Lois Lanes ever did it for me, never truly cared about their presence in Superman movies. But here? IVE BEEN quite interested! We will see
Thank you for doing this interview, David. Thank you for being Superman. Thank you for being my hero. I know it's a silly thing, a silly experience, and I'm a nobody. I still wanted to thank you. The #1 Superman fan here. Just wanted to thank you. Thank you for being my Superman. You nailed Supes :)
Hearing him talk about the character with such passion and understanding is incredibly reassuring, and his dedication to the role is palpable. This feels like a Superman who truly gets it. So excited to see him bring the duality of Clark and Superman to life!
one thing i love about this casting is i really didnt have a clue who david was before this so when i sat down and i saw him play clark so well im thought to myself yes this is superman, i never for a second saw him as anything else, watching f4 i had a hard time not seeing pedro pascal to me he was superman and to start of like that in hopefully the begining of a new era for DC is perfect
Exactly. Cavill was obviously a unit too but he was only 6’0… which isn’t small but they decided to cast a Batman and Aquaman who towered over him and were bigger 🤣🤦♂️ Gonna be hard to find someone to tower over David.
I dont know much about superman or this actor but went to the movie with my dad for his bday. I have never felt emotional watching a superman movie before! So fun to find some interviews
I really like that David is willing to share and dig deep about the process. You can tell he has a huge passion for all aspects of his job and this movie. Great interview ❤Can't wait to see his other works down the line!!
As an actor I so understand the "it's absolutely impossible I ever get this role" feeling. Then when you get that call, its like... WHAT?! Its really an incredible, albeit mad, career lol
7:12 I think he (Gunn) wasn’t joking, in the behind the scenes these two had a passionate discussion about the speech scene between Superman and Lex. Gunn wanted Superman to be vulnerable in that scene. David is amazing!
I love that the teacher have him advice and inspiration and it was the first person he wanted to tell that he got the job. Teachers need more support and recognition.
“can you prove that” is such a valid reaction
Smart too! I wonder if he asked who his screen partner was-the guy would at least know the set then. Or a stage direction given.
That was some funny stuff.
"Are you sure?"
@Planetyyyy the brainrot is transcending fandoms
@Planetyyyy "Are you sure about that?" -John Cena
this guy is so unbelievably likable.
He is just genuine, and speaks well.
Yep. Gunn definetely didn't just cast this guy cause of his looks. He is Clark Kent.
I was apprehensive about this Superman, but seeing this side of the actor makes me want to go see this movie now.
@joesmith3829 exact same way now i cant see henry cavil as superman i ike this guy so muchj ore but maybe im just a drone to the media
Ain't he just
"I've wasted enough of your time but I appreciate you wasting it with me" this guy is literally Superman I love him
he's literally not Superman
@ElectionsAreFake he literally is. I personally saw david fly over my house.
@tachytack its true I was the house
Wait. Hes superman? And acting AS superman? 🤔 ...the perfect disguise.
@tachytack I saw it too, I was the worm on the sidewalk
I will always love the Twisters blooper with Anthony Ramos saying "Why is Clark Kent yelling at me??"
😂
Scott saying "I don't care about the people" 😭
And there's a short video when the cast of "Twisters" celebrating when David Corenswet got the role of Superman.
To whom it may concern, David's Superman is the first one I felt emotionally connected to.
I like David's Superman a lot, but I think the one that currently holds my heart is CW Superman and Lois' Superman, Tyler Hoechlin. David is absolutely awesome as Superman. However, Tyler carries a more "rugged" Superman that just appeals to me more ❤
Except his name makes me think of corn and sweat
@ShemRey-j8p
Corn = farm
Clark Kent = farmboy and lovably corny
He was born for this role 😂❤
@ShemRey-j8p LMFAO
What really sold me is that he really involves his wife in the story of him auditioning the heck out of those tapes. This guy knows how to give everyone credit and stay real. Yah, I'll watch that superman movie. Thanks for the hype reel, GQ.
He is nerdy and heroic. He is Clark and Superman.
How did you like it ?
Exactly, yet it’s like he truly doesn’t “know” how to give credit, but it rather just comes naturally. Hope you enjoyed the movie
Really appreciated him talking about the costuming. Costumers really get overlooked in the industry even though it's a really difficult and time consuming job.
Bro is Superman
Definitely. He understands clearly what makes the character tick. Never seen anybody talk about Superman's loneliness yet.
It's very perplexing how I've seen multiple live action superman iterations in my lifetime, but this one feels special for some reason, even before Ive seen the movie
My superman will be Cavill.
People said the same of Reeve, Cavill, Routh... etc He isn't Superman, he's an actor who is doing his job
@pizzaparkerhotdogmaguire3225sybau
This is a Director's Commentary level of interview
Honestly his shout-out to Smallville was awesome
I grew up with that show, so it holds a special place in my heart. The shout-out was heartwarming.
After watching the movie, I think I can safely say that David is my favorite Superman so far. No disrespect to the ones that came before, they were all legendary in their own ways.
I actually love both but i wanna know why u love him more than the other?
@adrian3747_ both? which ones are you referring to, he's been played in film several times
@biacherrylikemeclearly the dude was comparing this version to Cavil’s version so i was pertaining to him
@adrian3747_ if youre referring to henry cavill, alot of people (me included) feel that while he pulls off Superman the hero, he doesnt play Clark Kent very well and have issues with James Snyders writing and directing for superman
I find it far too gritty and serious, I dont find him as sweet or dorky (clark is a little bit of a dork!!! he was raised on a farm by his ma and pa kent on a little farm) and people find his iteration to be too gritty and serious and him too traditionally "cool" (not that superman isnt cool, but i hope you know what i mean when I say that)
I get why people like Henry Cavill's superman though, I'm not trying to argue just give some examples
@adrian3747_ No, he was clearly talking about ALL the other Superman actors, not just Henry cavill.
The fact that both he and Gunn put so much emphasis on Allstar Superman fills me with so much confidence.
This.
All star is NOT the BEST Superman story.
@timbridger4681 "Best" is relative. But it is a story beloved by many, that celebrates the best aspects of Superman. His kindness, optimism, friendship, sacrifice.
In Gunn we trust. If he can't do it, nobody can.
He's charismatic, gorgeous and exudes a heroic aura. This is 10/10 casting.
I can’t explain why, but this comment leads me to believe you’re a serial killer.
@themosesshow. Your comment leads me to believe you skipped a dose this morning.
@themosesshow. Every accusation is a tell on yourself.
@themosesshow.who pissed in your cereal
@themosesshow. You're having an episode. Take your medication please.
He gives everyone credit and is super humble, just like Superman 🥹
Speech was written for him by professionals. Of course he needs to please everyone. No one wants fans of Cavill alienated.
@Hjartulv im pretty sure no one forced him to talk about his high school teacher. If all you notice is Cavill... 🤷♂️
@Hjartulv are you ok, tho? you seem so bothered for anyone to receive a complement that isn't your boyfriend henry cavill
@Hjartulv just shut up dude hahahaha you seem miserable
@Hjartulv really I think another snydercult land in here
He came across as genuine. Wishing him a long, happy, and successful career.
"Still 6'4"" 😂
Seriously, he was the absolute perfect person for the part.
LMAO i died at 15:55 "if you talked back, i...i didn't catch it" 😂💀
It’s nice that the guy playing a superpowered alien is as down-to-earth as he is. The cursing caught me off guard, but I think that just tells you how well he played the role.
"Top Gun 3?"
Producers: "WRITE THAT DOWN!"
He looks very suitable for the role of a pilot.
@LDR-l4r he was in training if I recall
He is a pilot
Jerry Bruckheimer produced the original Twister and both Top Guns. I'm sure if he was talking about Top Gun 2 when filming Twisters it probably got back to him in one way or another
This is my favorite comment
All doubts about him gone with this interview. The way he describes the duality with Clark and Superman and the way he understands them both is promising
doubting james gunn's talent and vision as a director in 2025 is crazy
It’s almost like he worked on a movie about Superman before this interview 🙄
@autofocus4556 I mean, you would think that, but as much as I love Cavill, that duality was never present in his Superman. Not to mention that his version is extremely different than that of the comics. Snyder wanted to tell a dark story and in the process butchered the character. I did enjoy the movie to an extent, but just because someone worked on the movie it doesn't mean they understand the character.
this is a fake comment, and look how carefully he holds his face direct at camera, never turning to expose his huge nose
why do you think he wasn't allowed to watch tv growing up? because it's goyslop.
@farrex0he didn’t butcher anything they were amazing movies :)
He's so wellspoken and funny i can listen to him yap for hours
The personality that he’s exuding in this interview is a total blend of both Clark Kent and Superman. There’s confidence and self-assuredness tempered by nerdiness, goofiness, and humility. I can see why he was picked to play the role.
Absolutely
As an actor, hearing David's process was incredibly informative.
Hope you make it bro 🗣️‼️🔥
I agree it was super interesting and inspirational somehow
Super informative
Made me wanna watch the movie and I’m not even a dc fan
@Guywhosaysbooya
He won't
He's so intelligent and well-spoken and confident. He seems so at ease with his new level of fame, so confident yet grounded and humble. He's so respectful of the character and the actors who previously played the part. There's something very genuine about him. He's charismatic and funny. He's very handsome but not in an intimidating way. It feels like I could approach him and not feel overwhelmed because he has a warm and grounded vibe that's comforting and welcoming. In short, he is Superman in real life and I cannot stop gushing over him. The more I see of him, the more I like him.
you should ask him for his phone number then. know what i mean, jelly bean?
@DaleWinarski someone seems salty
I agree in everything so picked up!!! Great reading on him, you got a skill to sense people.
@DaleWinarski If only I could Dale, if only I could...
@ShogunAT3 Shnyder cultist
This was legitimately one of the best interviews I've seen in a long time. Great job to the interviewer, and thanks David for being so awesome.
I've rarely seen an actor give as much credit and understanding to the teams behind the movies/show and I love him even more for this.
It’s a testament to his character that throughout this interview he mentioned his teachers and honored them. That’s my Superman 😢
what an incredibly like-able yet normal seeming dude. It’s nice to hear someone speak candidly and true to themselves. The casual but not forced swearing just makes him seem like anyone else you’d talk to. cool guy
“ alright ….bring out krypto’s actor for his interview “
It’s probably Sean Gunn 😂
There is no actor
@JJW-0😂😂😂
While the dog is CG the dog's performance and appearence is modelled after James Gunn's dog Ozu
Props for him giving props to the costuming department! Costuming truly is so labor intensive and is normally so underappreciated.
these are some of my favourite interviews ever. there's nothing more satisfying when it feels like the actor themself cares just as much about the character as you do and that's just something you can't fake. excellent interview. so excited for this film
I think you can, and they almost always do, fake it.
@fermisurface2616touch grass Susan
@fermisurface2616 how about you go take a walk in the park
@fermisurface2616 Of course they can. anybody can do anything. The sky is blue also.
I still choose to believe that James Gunn and his team went outside one day, found David and just started him following him around with a camera while he was doing superhero stuff. He IS Superman.
9:31 Nailed it. That is what it means to be Superman
I love David's always crediting the team and how he communicates. Will def watch Superman!
I like that this wasn't just a video that could've been titled "here's what I ate and how I worked out, and...cut." Quite cool to learn the actor's thoughts on the character and role before even getting the call.
Honestly so far the casting for Gunn’s DCU has been spot on. This dude IS Superman.
Gunn never misses casting
I thought Caville was Superman? Lmao
@abumansaray7he was fired for being a horrid actor
@Chadcat180firstly, that is false. Secondly, It is irrelevant to my comment
@abumansaray7Its facts .he waa fired for having O range 😊
15:17 bro is goated for that.
truly a Superman that stands up for those who need it.
Ive wanted him to play Superman for at least 6 years now. Im so happy this is the timeline I'm living in
I’m with you - I saw the potential for him to play this part.
literally. so glad i chose to be alive 🙏🙏
I respect your manifestation!
Definitely excited too see the movie this weekend!
I like the way he talks, he’s very articulate
he has so much depth as an individual, i've been watching his interviews and dare i say there was never a moment that he was unlikable. there are very few men who speaks with such substance and not only talk about themselves but also give credit to everyone who helped him, and david is one of them.
Now I wanna see what David looked like in Henry's suit
He ripped it apparently, he's taller than Cavill for a start!
@paxo666 yeah and the snyder fans went on a rampage and started hated on him and gunn for using it. they are so miserable
@obiwanjakobe9814 Mistake was on Gunn sharing that detail as it was funny at a time where people were divided about Superman being replaced.
@obiwanjakobe9814 you’re miserable along with the snyder fans. All of you are extremely annoying
@nandatou people get replaced all the time and I haven't seen a fan base go beserk like them. its insane lol
1:46 I think that's the first time I've heard David swear. Bro is so wholesome he's Superman IRL
To whom it may concern, cant wait to watch this movie.
why lol
@urbanexplorer3059 I got my tickets and ready to see it this friday!
@urbanexplorer3059because it will be the start of a journey hopefully we get to see the justice league assemble in the future!
I c what u did there
1:32 bro just spoiled TOP GUN 3 😂
He’s so dreamy 🫠
Hopefully david should try to do voice acting in the future, got the best voice for it. But so hyped with David nailing the character of Superman, despite everything said, there’s room for improvement with the suit and the future 🤞🏾
Well gunn said live action character could appear in animation so theres that and yeah i do hope to see him voice act in other things as well
To fit the superman to Sepiroth pipeline?
Agreed. Him being able to change his inflection the way he does for Clark's voice and Superman's voice makes me think he'd be a great fit for voice acting.
Alright he sold me after he said smallville was his first inspiration of the character 🙏🏽
3:13 him in this clip honestly looks like a totally different person than when he plays Superman or when he is just being himself and totally makes me buy in that people wouldn’t notice they’re the same person
prolly bcuz Hes brunette not black hair
@Chadcat180he’s talking about clark bruh
Big fan!
I'm with you.
Cavill’s Superman would happily pass the torch to Corenswet’s Superman imo.
Exactly because he’s a mature adult.
@Theblackout292 unlike his fanboys
He did
what torch is he passing?? Cavill was never superman to begin with
You must spend all your free timr hating on cavill @Oldschool1943
“ On a ladder fixing a light fixture” so super
He’s insanely eloquent
I highly recommend seeing this in the theaters if you can. James Gunn created some of the coolest comic book shots I have ever seen. I got emotional multiple times and I'm not even an OG Superman fan.
I don't recall the previous Superman movie actors doing this much publicity, can't wait to go see this!
Henry did a ton like he serious
Henry cavil did💀💀💀💀 stop lying
It's not lying, Henry brought Superman to IG & has millions of followers, internet didn't exist in 1978 or for Smallville.
@unowen-nh9ovhe’s lying literally by his comment💀💀
David is absolutely perfect as Superman!! The casting for this was so genius!!! ❤
i think id watch him sleeping
She is a perfect Lois, if anything, I don’t think anyone who has played her is more for fitting of the character on an aesthetic level. It’s perfect casting. And she is a great actor.
Exactly how I’ve felt. None of the Lois Lanes ever did it for me, never truly cared about their presence in Superman movies. But here? IVE BEEN quite interested! We will see
Margot Kidder was iconic
Ugh yes yes yes! 100% agreed!
Hated all the other Lois Lanes (little bit OK was Erica Durance on Smallville), but Rachel is best for me! ❤
I loved Amy Adams
@Grand_Edict they didn't give her enough to do - she was pretty much just superman's emotional doormat
How can you not like this guy? He’s so passionate about Superman and super well spoken, fun, and kind 🙏
Hearing him talk about the character with such passion and understanding is incredibly reassuring, and his dedication to the role is palpable. This feels like a Superman who truly gets it. So excited to see him bring the duality of Clark and Superman to life!
I can tell he's gonna be a fantastic Superman. So much charisma and warmth. Great voice too
13:01 Yassss Judiana Makovsky is an a amazing costume designer! Glad David mentioned her.
one thing i love about this casting is i really didnt have a clue who david was before this so when i sat down and i saw him play clark so well im thought to myself yes this is superman, i never for a second saw him as anything else, watching f4 i had a hard time not seeing pedro pascal to me he was superman and to start of like that in hopefully the begining of a new era for DC is perfect
14:35 he said the thing
I love that he watched Reeve, Routh, and Cavill as a basis to build this film on. So very anxious to see the new movie!!!!!
Humility and charm.... m glad he plays Superman...👍🏿
he's got the all-american vibe
I am so hyped for this movie. I think David is going to do great.
His humbleness is definitely what got him the role. He fully did not expect to get the role at all and that ultimately led to him being picked
I think that a world’s finest movie with David’s Superman and Robert Pattinsons Batman would be phenomenal.
12:40 never thought I'd hear superman swear
It's a little unnatural
@charlesjoerz433 you mean a little supernatural
It’s off putting.
Yeah it's the 1 thing that sucks in the interview
@GenesisGunnNow I understand why I should never curse
This is what superman should look like, a total unit.
And bro is 6’4
Exactly. Cavill was obviously a unit too but he was only 6’0… which isn’t small but they decided to cast a Batman and Aquaman who towered over him and were bigger 🤣🤦♂️ Gonna be hard to find someone to tower over David.
It really doesn't matter. On screen, it's just however the actor is shot and who he is paired with.
@jadenw-d55626’1
@Knightfall182well cavil looked small next to aquaman and batman
Stunningly handsome
I dont know much about superman or this actor but went to the movie with my dad for his bday. I have never felt emotional watching a superman movie before! So fun to find some interviews
Corenswet perfectly captures the essence of Superman.
I really like that David is willing to share and dig deep about the process. You can tell he has a huge passion for all aspects of his job and this movie. Great interview ❤Can't wait to see his other works down the line!!
4:15 nick was 100% a better luthor then he would be superman
1A 1A 1A 1A 1A 1A 🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️
I'm so excited for Superman, David I'm counting on you to deliver what Reeves did all those years ago.
loved David as Superman, I hope to see more of him in future DC films ❤❤
Even when he swears it feels like he says it just for an effect…Superman changed his career and he changed Superman
As an actor I so understand the "it's absolutely impossible I ever get this role" feeling. Then when you get that call, its like... WHAT?! Its really an incredible, albeit mad, career lol
I'm so happy someone understand this material as it was intended to be.
this is where his career takes off 📈🚀
Yeah I feel like he’s gonna be a generational actor now
I didn't get it, but now I get it. What a well spoken dude. This was a pleasure to watch.
just watched this today and it’s one of the first superman movies i’ve actually enjoyed
What a casting choice this was 🔥
I remember when it got announced, everyone was complaining that it wasn't someone else.
But now everyone loves him. 😂
He's handsome, charismatic a heart of gold, and gorgeous 😍 💛 💖 💗
I’m a straight guy and I like this comment. Dude is a guy that every woman wants and every guy wants to be like.
This deserves way more views. Absolutely underrated
This is literally the best promo interview ever...now I'm excited to see the movie 😍
0:15 this guy somehow looks completely same and different everytime i see him 😭
Bro is perfect for Clark
this is absolutely the best pre-movie video i’ve seen ever😭
Caville was robbed but I can't hate this guy, Perfect casting. We'll see how the movie is written
I would have liked to see Cavill in Gunn’s version. When I saw the trailer, I thought “where did he find an amazing replacement?” He looks great.
Bro has all star Superman on the desk too, he knows quality
7:12 I think he (Gunn) wasn’t joking, in the behind the scenes these two had a passionate discussion about the speech scene between Superman and Lex. Gunn wanted Superman to be vulnerable in that scene. David is amazing!
Happy birthday to Superman, just saw that he was born on July 8th!
This is gonna be historical, people will look back to this once and love how great he was❤
Very easy.. when he said one of the first people he rang was his high school teacher… he just became the best superman for me ♥️
8:41 perfect casting. He doesn't want to be alone because he is.
I love that the teacher have him advice and inspiration and it was the first person he wanted to tell that he got the job. Teachers need more support and recognition.
i can see why he was picked for the role. perfect balance of clark kent & superman's personalities
